My new dragon sig

Archive: 10 posts

Just wondering what people thought of my new signature.

I know it needs a border and I want to do some effects on the text, but I wanted to know if the animation is slow enough (so you don't immediately see its animated).

I can't stand fast animations because they're really distracting.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Very cool, but several elements are a bit too dark and hard to see what all is going on.2010-11-16 01:09:00

You know we all hate you right? It is about twice as fast as you want it to be for the effect you are looking for. What would be sweet is if it didn't move at all other than the eyes blinking, and slowly moving towards the viewer. Then have it move its wings a bit... very intimidating. I love it as is though. Does your 3D program animate? Or do you use something else for animation?2010-11-16 01:19:00

Good point! Weirdly, Icey said the same thing! I really need to start listening to the Queen of Visuals more often!

I know you all hate me... It would be better if I disappeared into non-existence which would make everyone happier lol.

Seriously, you've got some vaild points here, so I will work on it this evening. I like your idea of being stationery for a while and yes, I can do 3D animation, but it exports in avi, so I need to import it into PS and then edit each frame - a real pain but sometimes worth it. My problem is that I'm limited to .gif format, which loses detail even at 128 dithered - not so bad if the number of colours is low.
