| Looked like Jspot had a job. He didn't like the one who gave it to him; in fact, Jspot felt like smashing Blue (which he could do right now) but a job's a job. Jspot was paid, and just barely satisfied. Actually, the Toads who escorted him out were sort of nice. They lent him jeep to get to Sony. When he got there, some gaurds stopped him. "Mercenary! I work for Sony now. I've come with something for Mr. Sony," Jspot said. *Mr. Sony's office* "I didn't get the intel." "Well, I expect your money back the-" "Wait," Jspot got out the trap disk. "Top secret info on Nintendo. You take it, I keep the money. Deal?" Mr. Sony waited. He continued thinking until he snatched the disk and said, "Deal! My soldiers will escort you to your home." And so, Jspot was back home. No more jobs for now. Nothing to do. "Ah. Home sweet home." ((Jspot gives the disk to Mr. Sony and returns home. NOTE TO ALL: I am now free of jobs. | The group found themselves in the middle of a charred forest, a good distance away from the nuclear detonation. Apparantly someone saved them... but it wasn't Jack. "Well, that was fun," Jack joked, wiping off the dust on his suit, "For I second, I thought I had to do something." "Just be glad your body's safe and sound, Jack," Natalie replied, checking some of the security guard's vitals, "Because if no-one reacted, we'd ALL be burnt to a crisp." "True... who was that anyways?" Jack questioend. "I thought you knew him already," Mercuy stated, "He seemed pretty sure of that." "Well," Jack queried, "He never told me his name." The group went silent for a second, as though someone just passed away. "Jack," the Chief finally started, "That was Kernel. KernelM?" The harsh reality slammed Jack like the cold front of a blizzard. That same program he designed years ago, that same apprentice that saved him in the 1st war, that same GUY who Jack concluded to call him a brother... and he never bothered to ask him his name. "... where is he?" Jack finally mumbled, his eyes starting to tear up. "Sir," the Chief replied, his voice remorseful, "He left already. And he started going west... towards Sony territory." The businessman couldn't hold it in any longer, and immediately sank to his knees. Jack bawled his eyes out, and his moans and wails echoed through the dead woods. His greatest ally, creation and friend, Kernel, left him... and he never had the chance to thank him. Ragnarok: So, Zim, who was that person? Zim: She's not a person, I think... GDN entered the lab, and noticed that his lab was just hacked. GDN: WHAT??? MY LAB??? WHAT HAPPENED??? Someone hacked into my computer... And got all the intel, including stuff about us and... Ched: And... GDN: And info about the power gloves... Zim: WHAT??? Now we're doomed... The base's alarm then sounded. Enemy forces were approaching. Large amounts. Rag: Great... Now what we do? GDN: We... Ragnarok and Cheddars man the defense cannons! Zim, you come with me! GDN opened a cabinet full of machines, then took a giant drill (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100528160328/bioshock/images/thumb/7/78/Drill_plain.png/830px-Drill_plain.png)and placed it in his arm. | GDN takes a seat behind his desk as Kernel sits down in front of him, with Zim standing watch by the door. "I'd like to join your ranks." GDN raises an eyebrow as Kernel states it so simply and to-the-point. "What makes you think I'd trust you enough to let you join, if you previously worked for Microsoft?" Kernel smirks and leans back in his chair. "Because I've got insight to their operations, schematics of their base and weapons, and knowledge of each and every member of their company. Surely I can be of help to you?" GDN contemplates Kernel's response. Zim looks behind her at GDN, dumbfounded that he would even consider letting an ex-Microsoft employee, of whom he knows nothing about, into his army. "You can't possibly be falling for that, GDN! How in the world can you trust him?" "I am in charge, and I make the decisions around here. Kernel, I will consider your request, though I need time to think about it. In the mean time, you can stay in the room three doors down the hall from here. I have some business to take care of right now. Zim, follow me." GDN stands up from his desk as Zim crosses her arms furiously. She does as she's told and follows him through the base towards the building's entrance. Kernel smiles grimly and heads down the hall. As he's about to enter his room, he notices a shimmering aura out of the corner of his eye. He whips around to find nothing there. | ((Anybody? Anybody? Oh alright...)) "I think this may be a good time to tell me what happened back at Old Natal." GDN looks over at Zim, who is gripping her injured shoulder as they walk quickly through the base. "Fine." Zim explains to GDN the events that took place, starting from when GDN was being carried away by Microsoft soldiers. She had started to get a terrible headache, and then a cloaked figure had grabbed Zim from behind and pushed her into a dark portal. For some strange reason she can't remember what happened directly afterwards, but she recalls sneaking through a white hallway, attempting to escape, then seeing the cloaked figure speaking to her doppleganger about their plans. The figure summoned a portal and stepped through it, disappearing. Zim was confused as to who it was that looked exactly like herself and hadn't the slightest idea what was going on. She jumped out from where she was hidden and demanded answers from [Data]Zim, but received a battle instead. [Data]Zim was too skilled and easily struck her down, believing she had finished her off, then vanished in a cluster of numbers and data, leaving to complete the task her superior had given her. Zim awoke an hour so later to find herself in the same hallway, missing her cane and cap. After thinking it over, she came to the conclusion that there didn't seem to be a way out of the building, besides the portals the inhabitants use to go from place to place - To her surprise, one suddenly opened up behind her. She glanced around to see who summoned it, but there was nobody in sight. Zim ran through it and ended up in the woods, next to a cabin. To her left, she heard a helicopter preparing to take off. She dashed around the corner to see [Data]Zim boarding it, with Ragnarok and GDN inside. Just as it lifted off from the ground, she hopped into the storage compartment in the back. When they arrived at the SONY base, she sneakily followed [Data]Zim down the hallways, eventually bumping into Ched. "...And I would have been done for if you hadn't entered the room - And again, if I hadn't jumped out of the way!" GDN's face turned red. "I...er...So uhm..." He pushes open the door to SONY's base to find the entire enemy army gone. "Wh-Huh?! But just a few minutes ago, they were...Wha?!" Ragnarok and Ched run up to GDN from behind, out of breath. "We...*pant* needed to tell you...*pant* the army forces, they retreated, for no reason at all!" Ched explains to GDN. "How...strange." Ragnarok throws GDN an assault rifle as Zim and GDN walk towards the interrogation room with Kernel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KernelM waited in his chair for GDN to arrive, hoping that he would let him on the team, giving him the time to cal for back up, but to his suprise, GDN walked in with his rifle aimed straight at Kernel's head "Sorry, but we don't need you" as GDN was about to pull the trigger, a strange noise could be heard from the interrogation room wall. "what's that?" "sounds like a car, it's getting louder..." Just then, a Warthog smashed right through the wall of room, just missing Kernel and the gauss cannon aimed right at GDN, and Natalie in the passenger seat aiming a needler at Zim, and Jack staring them both down with his bright green eyes. "Lets do that again!" exclaimed Mercuy. "Deal with Sony first." "Ah Jack I presume, I thought you were dead" "Long story, not one you get to hear before Mercuy here gets to blast you to kingdom come" "Did you guys have anything to do with our armies running away?" questioned Zim "we hacked a radio frequency and told them we were about to nuke the base." | GDN: So, what are you going to do, murder us both and walk away like nothing happened? Mercuy: That would be a nice option... Should we? Zim looked behing her and saw GDN's drill standing behind the desk, he took it off to talk to Kernel before. Zim (whispering): GDN, the drill! GDN (whispering): I got it. Get ready... GDN and Zim then jumped behind the desk. Mercuy and Natalie were distracted, so they missed the shots. GDN equipped the drill and charged towards the Warthog, spinning the drill and deflecting the bullets with it. He rammed into the vehicle, making it roll over and distracting the occupants. GDN: Zim, come on, let's go! GDN and Zim ran away while the Microsoftians chased them. GDN then pushed Zim around a corner and into a depot. The enemies went straight. Zim: Great, now what? GDN: I guess this belongs to you... GDN hands over the cane to Zim. Zim: That's great, but a cane isn't the weapon of choise against their hi-tech guns... GDN: Guess you're right... Luckily we stepped inside this depot. This is where I store all my war trophies. Let me see... GDN searches the depot, until he finds something interesting. GDN: A-ha! The Alpha Series Big Daddy suit (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090831050122/bioshock/images/c/c6/PrototypeConcept.jpg)! Zim: Where did you find that? GDN: It's a long story involving a mission in Rapture... Ok, turn around, time for a little change of clothes! Zim turns around and covers her eyes. When she turns back, she sees GDN as a Big Daddy. Zim: Whoa... If you don't get stronger in this suit, at least you get more intimidating! GDN (with a heavy voice): Sure I do... And look what it comes with! GDN picks up a large rivet gun (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091202065832/bioshock/images/f/f4/Rivet_Gun.png)and puts it in his back for later use. He then puts the drill on his arm and walks off the room. GDN: Stay here Zim. It's too dangerous... Zim: What? | As the door hisses shut a small blip echoes around the room as Kernel pops out, He pulls his arm back as bright green brass knuckles grow around his finger, He released aiming at Zim; She collapses as he hits a nerve causing her to fall asleep, He grabs some chain from the depot shelf and ties her hands and wrists with it, he drags her to the room where GDN and The Microsiftians are fighting, "HEY YOU" He yelled at GDN "LOOK WHAT I'VE GOT" He added smashing a window, He pushed the unconscious Zim out of the window as GDN Looked on in horror, Kernel ran down the corridor with the information he'd stolen as GDN quickly pondered the situation. | 2010-11-23 16:13:00 Author: Kern Posts: 5078 |
| GDN runs to the window and jumped down the window. He grabs Zim and falls on the lower deck with force, absorbing Zim's fall. GDN: Ooouch... Lucky me that this suit is resistent... Zim wakes up and asks: Zim: GDN, what happened? GDN: Kernel threw you out the window and is escaping with our intel! Stay here, be careful and I have to go! GDN looks above to hear a jet preparing to take off. He quickly climbs the base's wall with the drill, and when he reaches the upper deck, he sees a jet flying towards him. The jet runs into him and he holds onto it. The suit's weight pulls the jet down into the ocean below. GDN breaks open the cockpit and grabs Kernel's neck underwater. He then starts spinning his drill and says: GDN: I should dig a hole in your head right now, but I'm not that kind of person. GDN grabs the intel Kernel was carrying and releases him. He quickly swims to the surface. GDN walks on the sea's bottom and enters the base via underwater entrance. As she mumbles to herself irritably, she sees a sudden flash of blinding white light, and the chains are broken clean in half. Opening her eyes again, she sees nothing but the remnants of a blue aura. "What the..." | Kernel raced through the SONY Mainframe activating every security system and wiping every employee database completely so the turrets would fire on anything that moved or had a heat signature, He sealed off the armour rooms and launched the thermo nuclear missiles at the Toad Base, He fired torpedoes at the Sony subs and finally locked down every computer so no one except kernel could access it before emailing himself to Jacks Phone. | Zim sees Kernel race down the hallway causing havok. She begins to give chase, but skids to a halt and turns around, running towards GDN's lab. She arrives to see that Kernel hasn't reached it yet, then hurries inside and locks the door behind her. Zim takes a seat behind GDN's computer and turns it on, attempting to repair the damage done by Kernel. As she begins to type, she receives and error message on the screen - The computer's memory card had been torn right out of it. But by who, if Kernel had not yet reached this computer? She hurriedly shuffles around the papers and devices on GDN's desk. She hears a strange noise to her left, and looks over to see a device digitalize onto the desk. It appears to be a data chip for the computer...Zim carefully picks it up and examines it. "Someone - or something must be helping me out...But who?" She attaches the device to the computer and a program begins running. 'Launching Data Repair...' The files and information that were stolen earlier appear again. | GDN is thrown away by Kernel, who ran away, and sees the other MS people coming close to him. He gets up and remembers the rivet gun. He grabs it and fires at the enemies randomly, making them back away. GDN: Yeah! Run away your Microsoft scum! Then they appear again in a warthog, coming towards him. GDN: Oh cra... They run over GDN, who is on the hood of the vehicle now. Natalie fires a needler at GDN, but his suit is resistant and deflects it. Mercuy: Fine, I'll take this with my own hands! Mecuy jumps over GDN and tries to push him out of the vehicle. Jack: Hey you two, I can't see where I'm going this way! GDN looks ahead and sees a window leading to the ocean. GDN: Break!!! Jack: Wha... Then they all fall on the ocean below. GDN hangs on a ledge. He sees Zim doing something on the lab throught a window. GDN: Zim!!! Little help? GDN swings throught the window and lands on the room. Zim: Glad to see you are in one piece. Then Kernel got into the room. GDN told Zim to hide behind him and began to spin his drill. | ((Apologies for the delay)) Kernel raises his blade over GDN, with Zim across the room unable to help, buried under debris. As he swings it down, about to deliver a fatal blow, there's a flash of white and something deflects it at the very last second. GDN opens his eyes to see Zim in front of him holding her cane horizontally with both hands, blocking Kernel's blade. "Out...of...my...WAY!" Kernel hacks at Zim's cane relentlessly a blade extends from his other hand, each hit stronger than the last, her defense about to give way any second. "GDN...Go!" She shouts behind her to GDN. He dodge rolls to his left and slides behind his desk for cover. He glances around and sees his drill across the room. GDN dives to grab it when he notices something from the corner of his eye - He looks to his right to see an unconscious Zim in a pile of rubble, surrounded by a mysterious blue aura, then looks back towards the Zim blocking Kernel's attacks, growing more weary by the second. "Not this again...!" GDN runs to help the injured Zim and tries shaking her awake, but she doesn't respond. He looks back over at the other. Kernel misses a single hit and Zim sees the moment of vulnerability, attempting to strike, but Kernel fakes out and delivers a counter-attack, quickly turning around to dodge and slicing from behind. Kernel's eyes open wide with fear as his blade phases right through her arm. She whips around and grabs him by the collar, launches him across the room, then dashes at an incredible speed to catch him with her cane and swing him right out the window. [Data]Zim drops to the ground and begins to fade, disappearing in a flash of light - But this time leaving behind no blue aura. Zim snaps back awake, breathing heavily and grasping her right arm. | Zim is still exhausted and can barely stay standing. She looks over at GDN, who continues to deflect and dodge Kernel's attacks, quickly running out of stamina. She closes her eyes and concentrates on the situation at hand, the blue aura returning. [Data]Zim digitalizes right in front of Kernel, blocking his blades and defending GDN with ease. She releases a flurry of relentless attacks, of which Kernel dodges, but he begins to tire out. [Data]Zim stands firmly on the ground, then uses the last of her strength to deliver a finishing move. She summons several pillars of light around her - They quickly extend out to every corner of the room destroying everything in their path, one of them striking Kernel. He falls to the ground, weary and unable to fight any more. He looks up at the security camera is planted in the corner of the ceiling, smirks, then transports right inside it and retreats to meet up with Jack and the others. Ched: Roger, I'm already taking off.. Ragnarok got into his dropship, the HAGAD T-02, (previously it was the dropship I used to get to jack on my first assault on Old Natal) Ragnarok: We are ready to take off Pilot: All systems green, we are taking off now The dropship got to rise into the skies as ched and a small group of jets, planes and helicopters followed... Ragnarok: Looks like we are off, initiating self destruct in 3... 2... 1... A huge explosion devastated the base as all the fuel containers exploded one after the other, wiping out a part of the MS forces stationed on the base... Ched: where are we heading to now? we can't just wander off without a destiny Ragnarok: we are going for reinforcements, old loyal PS soldiers that have not fear, they will aid us in the battle... 'Miss Zeta Sanyari' Announced the bodyguard, no looking up from the micro computer screen in the arm of his suit. Zeta wondered bitterly if he was double checking her ID or getting a new high score on Tetris. 'Ahh, you have arisen at last.' Said the senior elite of Nintendo jovially, beaming as she sat down. Uh oh. thought Zeta, recognising the warning signs. The boss, beaming at her? Really? He was only nice to people when he had a job for them, and probably something dangerous too. He arranged his papers carefully, looking up with a expression probably designed to show serious compassion, friendliness, and bravery. Unfortunately it appeared the emotions didn't mix. 'We need your help Zeta. Sony and Microsoft have turned to war again. Already I have received news from HQ that the Aqua Base has been destroyed. We have many troops, capable in battle, but we need more specialist recruits. We are not powerful enough to launch a direct assault, but if we can get someone inside their core and gain enough valuable information we could seriously harm there defences. You have-' he glanced down at her record, '5 years training in stealth and combat. You passed all tests with flying colours, you were to have a strong career as a elite. Zeta, this is just the young talent we need most.' Zeta stared in horror. This was far worse than she had expected. 'No way, I am fine right as I am thanks. I am not getting involved in all this again.' Her boss's kindly look faded fast. Zeta knew he had expected this reaction. She hoped plan B wouldn't be too painful. 'Look, we must regain our power. You cannot just leave let us down now, think of all our company has done for you Zeta.' He said exasperatedly, slamming the file down on his desk. 'Other than put me repeatedly in life-threatening situations?!' Zeta said loudly, her patience snapping. Sure, I like Nintendo. But what happened to the 'be different' ethnic? Removing a rifle he laid it on the desk in front of her with a clang. 'Take this, or we will have to question you employment. Commander.' Zeta stared at the gun in a mixture of shock, disgust, and a fair amount of fear. But she had no choice. She suspected that unemployed in this situation was the official term for dead. She new far to much to be let to walk away. She snatched the gun from the table, her teeth clenched with anger. 'You will be working with B3. The sensor bar has been tested by our scientists and will be your main piece of equipment. You may leave.' Her boss said in his usual business-like tone, settling back in his chair as if nothing had happened. Zeta span round and left without a word, hearing the door slide shut again behind her. On the bright side she considered, she was working with a friend, but that was nothing but a small burnt out lightbulb in the darkness of this situation. He approaches a locked door and hears muffled voices from inside. "I believe you have something I need..." The voice is unrecognizable to him. "I'm tired...of seeing you...everywhere...I go!" Zim attempts to swipe at him with her cane, but she easily misses. Zim backs up as he opens a dark corridor behind him. She closes her eyes and tries to focus, but can't seem to summon her doppleganger for help this time. The figure looks to the side, over at the doorway, then looks back at Zim and advances forward - He has no weapon, but is extremely agile. She jumps aside and manages to hook onto his foot with her cane, then swings him right into the door. He tumbles to the ground covered in debris as GDN and Elias back away from the door in surprise. The figure stands up with his fists clenched. "Alright, I tried asking nicely...You're coming with me." He angrily begins to walk back in the room, but GDN grabs him by the collar of his hood. "I don't think so." He picks him up and tosses him across the room into the wall. "G-gah...! I'll be back for you two later!" | Ched wanders into one of the hallways and notices another soldier on guard. Feeling a little playful, Ched waggles his hand in front of the completely still Helghast. The Helghast remains his position, resisting the strong urge to pin him to the floor, and takes a deep breath. "If you were any stiller, you'd be covered in bird feces." Ched remarks. And just as the soldier was about to strangle him to death, Ched leaps out of sight. He stepped into the armory, and takes a gander over the weapons the Helghasts have supplied them with oh so generously. Ched wasn't much of a weapons expert but he knew that the big cylindrical tube to his right was obviously a rocket launcher. There was a vast variety of them, ranging from what Ched knew as a pistol, to something that resembled of a staple gun. He picked up the curious weapon, and started to analyze it, wondering what it was capable of. "That's the VC21 bo-" was all the Helghast could say before he was pinned directly to the wall. Ched, out of pure reflex and fear, had whipped around towards the source of the noise and pulled the trigger. And some sort of staple had emitted from the weapon and latched itself against the soldier, onto the wall behind him, dangling him there like some sort of Christmas ornament. The Helghast immediately started to panic and ripped free from the staple, leaving his suit of armor behind. Curious about his prediction about the staple gun actually possessing the properties of a staple gun, Ched started to walk towards the staple on the wall. But was interrupted as the now even more terrified Helghast had tackled him down onto the floor. Ched was about to reply angrily towards the soldier, but was interrupted yet again by an explosion so close to his face, he swore it had singed off his eyebrows. Apparently the explosion had caused quite a bit of disturbance within the base as a few Helghast soldiers started to peer through the gaping hole in the wall. One of them who Ched recognized as the serious, still Helghast from earlier. He gave him an evil look, and parted off, along with the rest of the group. They both picked themselves off the ground and dusted off the debris Ched had caused. "As I was saying, that weapon you were holding a second ago, is called the VC21 boltgun." the Helghast said. "Although it may resemble a staple gun it's actually capable of much more." "When triggered, it fires a metal bolt that pins that target onto the wall, and within seconds, will-" "explode, yeah I kinda figured out by myself." Ched replied. A few more singed hairs and a couple of bruises and burns later, Ched and the Sony troops had their selection of weapons ready at arms. After being asked what type of combatant Ched was, he had replied with, "whatever keeps my enemies dead from a reasonable distance." And with that answer, Hank, the Helghast he quickly became friends with, had recommended him the VC32 sniper rifle, a M32 combat knife, a STA18 pistol, and a few fragmentation grenades to boot. The Helghasts had all agreed from the start that the boltgun was to be left out of the question, most preferably away from Ched. | ((Typing up something)) The flash of the cameras and the constant pestering of the media irritated Jack, as he and the rest of his group slipped into his office. Natalie leans back on the wall, relieved. Mercuy is seen standing in front of a large bookcase, admiring the several manuals, encyclopedias and guides to several Xbox franchises, inventions and universes. Taking this opportunity, Jack sits himself at his computor, and starts scanning his files. "Where did Frank and the Chief go?" Mercuy questioned,looking over the various titles of different books. "I sent them out to find Kernel," Jack replied, staring at his computor screen, "Why?" "Just wondering," Mercuy spoke, the room falling quiet. Minutes pass by before the rookie finally realizes something. Something... odd. "Where's Horatio?" Mercuy finally asked, now looking at Jack. As though a ton of bricks bonked Jack on the head, the businessman stopped his ferevent typing. Natalie took attention, and stood up. "... Crap," Jack finally blurted, face-palming himself, "Then where IS HE?! And better yet- WHERE'S HIS MEN?!!" ---------- A lone guard is seen pacing down a hallway in the Sony base, minding his own duties. Suddenly, as he passes by a door, a brown hand quickly shoots out, snatching the bewildered guard. Little strangling and furious beatings could be heard behind the door. Then, as soon as the assualt began, the room becomes eerily quiet. As the door opens, a now disguised Horatio pops his head out of the door, assuming the form of the Sony guard, right down to the skin colour. Signaling his men, the 5-6 elite guards disperse, walking off into the hallways, climbing into the vents, and doing other various acts of espionage as they disappear and dispense into the immensity of the Sony base. Left alone, Horatio quickly checks his side, grabbing a black Wiimote with the X logo on it. Pressing the logo, a green beam shoots out, resembling that of a lightsaber-like weapon. Satisfied, Horatio presses the button again, shooting the beam back into the handle. The governor restores the weapon to his side, and presumes the now dead Fanboy's duty of patrolling the hallways, completely disguised. He quickly picks it up and uses it to absorb the bullets as the soldiers angrily fire at him. GDN: Why this keeps happening to me? GDN runs into an empty restaurant and hides in the second floor. The soldiers get inside and begin to search for him. GDN is in the balcony, behind an huge piano. GDN: *takes a deep breath* Sorry restaurant owner... He pushes the piano and it falls over the soldiers, killing 11 of them. GDN uses his pistol to kill the others. GDN: This was related to Kernel, I can feel it... GDN took a tourist map from the restaurant and looked for somewhere where they could have taken Zim to. GDN: Xbox building! Gotta be there... GDN heads to the Xbox building. He gets inside throught the service entrance and begins to look for Zim. | GDN grabs a lone Microsoft soldier by the collar and points his gun at him. GDN: TELL ME! WHERE IS HER??? Soldier: Who? GDN: ZIM! I KNOW THAT YOU BROUGHT HER HERE!!! Soldier: Ahh, easy, easy, the girl is in the 7th floor, cell 15! Kernel brought her here, I don't have nothing to do with this! GDN: Kernel... I knew that he had something to do with this... Thanks, fool. GDN knocks the soldier down and grabs his weapon. He gets inside the elevator and it starts going up slowly. The elevator begins to stop, and GDN realizes that someone is coming! He opens a small door on the ceilling and gets out of the elevator right before they see him. GDN sees another elevator coming up. He jumps from one to another and starts heading up. GDN: 5th floor, 6th floor, 7th floor... Hey, that was my location! GDN looks up and sees the ceilling approaching. It doesn't looks like the elevator is going to stop. He jumps and holds into the other elevator's cable. He slides down and jumps to the 7th floor's door, then opens it and gets in. GDN: Phew... Next time I'm taking the stairs... Now to find Zim... GDN looks around. There are a lot of cells. He runs to Zim's and finds her there, sleeping. GDN: Zim? Zim, wake up! Zim: Whaa... Just five more minutes... GDN: Zim, wake up NOW! Zim: GDN? Thank god! Are you alright, Kernel told me that you were dead! GDN: Kernel tells a lot of things. Hmm, now how do I open this eletronic lock? Kernel pushes the man to the side and starts to walk slowly towards GDN and Zim. GDN: Stay away from her, you... Suddenly, Kernel stops. He's paralyzed. The man is using some sort of power on him. He shakes Kernel around the room and into walls and the ceilling. Kernel drops his equipment, including a blue blade. GDN: That must be it! GDN runs and picks the blade up. Then he grabs Zim's hand and pulls her back towards the elevator, but more MS troops arrive. GDN pushes Zim to the side and jumps after her just before the soldiers shoot. They hit the hooded man instead, which lets go of Kernel and attacks the troops. GDN puts Zim on his shoulder and goes to the stairs. He hears more troops coming below, so he goes upstairs to the roof. There's nothing on sight. The troops are still after them. GDN retreats as they arrive to the roof and point their guns at them. Trooper: You're surrounded! Don't try anything! Zim: Oh, my god, GDN what do we do??? GDN looks behind him. The building is located at the coast of a river, and it is right below them. GDN (whispering): I have an idea, Zim, but you gonna have to trust me! GDN holds onto Zim with all his strenght and jumps down into the river below. Ragnarok: Team Red goes from the back, me and team Black take the main entrance, I want every MS soldier on the afterlife, capture any important employees you can for interrogation, scout snipers will be providing support from close buildings, lets move! Ragnarok and Team black opened the main entrance and started taking down the guards as Team red (a spec ops team) raged through the maintenance sections on the building they found the fuse box and took out the lights. | "Gah!" Kernel tosses Zim into the cell and the hooded figure stands guard outside of it. "Where's...GDN?!" The figure looks behind him and replies sarcastically. "Oh, don't worry about him, I sent him somewhere safe - It should seem familiar to you. If I were you, I'd be worrying more about myself than that silly little soldier. He can see the bars of a cell, and beyond them is a river and the starry night sky. Someone is sitting down in front of the small window, partially covering the view. GDN snaps back to reality. A mysterious hooded person steps out of a portal a few feet away from him, only he's different from the other one - He seems to be taller and a bit more bulky. "You're coming with me." His voice is deeper than the other cloaked figure's. GDN starts to get a headache as he looks over at him, then everything goes white. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - GDN wakes up in a white hallway. He hears voices not to far away - One of them seems to sound strikingly similar to his own. As he peers around the corner, he sees the hooded man speaking to someone - That someone happens to look exactly like him. GDN presses his back against the wall, sliding down to the floor. ((Now you'll see why I'm the writer for FF.  ))As they were leaving, they activated the explosives, bringing the whole building down... Or so they thought. Suddenly, as though the building itself retaliated, all of the walls, windows and doors latched up in a clear, white banner of impenetrable barrier, sealing in everyone inside and sealing out any would-be intruders. The bomb detonates, but the blast was so well concealed by the building's emergency defense system that the explosion had little to no effect. Jack has finally lost it. The systems on Ragnarok's dropship began to run haywire, frying the internal CPU. The soldiers frantically tried to work with the bugs, but only got blown back by the corrupted and volitale data. A loud static roared through Ragnarok's communicator, then a voice: "Your head is mine, Fanboy." The dropship's engines immediately gave out, plummeting the large aircraft to Old Natal below. In a fiery and rocky crash, Ragnarok's escapade skidded to a halt, now trapped in the middle of Microsoft territory. Ragnarok managed to crawl out from the wreckage... but the same couldn't be said about his teammates. "Read Team!!" Ragnarok called out, lost in a daze, "Dou you READ?! OVER?!" Nothing could be heard... then, a blood-curling scream from one of the team operatives... followed by a bone-crunching CRACK. It seems that Jack's Elites have spotted the group. Including Jack. Suddenly, as Ragnarok attempted to push himself up, Jack comes running in from the side, punting him in the ribs. The soldier let out a horrid scream, then was picked up by Jack's Kinect. Before Ragnarok could rais a finger, the infuriated Microsoft president hurls the soldier into the smoldering wreckage, smashing whatever was left of it. Ragnarok laid there in agony, only to lift his head to see Jack making his way towards him. Jack seizes his black Wiimote with the X logo from his side. "This ends NOW," Jack growled, "These idiotic feuds have gone on for LONG ENOUGH!! EN GUARDE!!!" Suddenly, the green beam shoots out from the hilt, glowing a radient green. | GDN looks for the blade, but he can't find it. GDN: Great, I was expecting for that... GDN hears two hooded men talking and coming towards his location. He looks around and gets inside a dark room, locking the door behind him. GDN looks for a light switch, and suddenly the room is lit. It is filled with many equipment, from old WW2 weapons to the modern MS weapons, ranging throught every kind of device that he could imagine. GDN runs throught the large corridors looking for the blade, until he sees it on a high platform. He climbs the lower platforms to reach it, then picks it up. GDN: This belongs to me. But he loses balance and falls to the ground, the blade falls right next to him, sticking to the ground. GDN: Ouch... Way to go, GDN... Hopefully that didn't attract much attention... A hooded man opens the door he previously locked and sees him there, with the blade. Hooded man: You prisioners are always looking for trouble... Sorry, but it has to be the hard way... GDN feels a sharp pain in his chest. He puts his hands over his heart and collapses to the ground, screaming in fetal position. | Kernel pulled into the Atari docks, the entire city was a ruin, a remnant from the old console war, he took Zim's equipment off her and threw it to the hooded man who stored it in a Memory Stick, He handcuffed her and strapped a paradise falls exploding collar on her neck before opening the cage, He pushed her onto the gangplank and kept doing so until they reached the temple. ***** A Few hours later they reached the citadel, Kernel pushed Zim inside to look for traps, Kernels head started to throb as he automatically began to speak with the tech, it was speaking in some sort of broken old language that Kernel couldn't recognise, "Begin Catalogue" Kernel muttered as he ran after Zim. The stony pathways ended in a very metallic door, inscribed with what Kernel assumed was letters, At the bottom of the door were skeletons, their hands clawing at the door, Zim was crouched in front of one of them, Kernels eyes glowed green and he began floating as he accessed the strange computer, He landed on his knees as the door hissed and slid open, He grabbed Zim by the collar and pulled her back as he strode forward into the darkness, his glowing eyes lit the corridor for a few seconds before the electric lights flickered to life, He was on a mesh grille walkway, beneath him were strange Robots unlike anything Kernel had ever seen, at the end of the *walkway was a single monitor. Kernel ran and accessed it... **** The robots whirred into life with green light they targeted Kernel as they reconfigured their Parameters, They diagnosed him as friendly as he barked the strange language at them,* "What are you doing?" Zim asked* "Guess where Atari got these from!" Kernel laughed his voice laced with excitement* "Where?" Zim asked again. "Look up!" Kernel said as the lights shuttered on, There in all it's Glory was a group of spacecraft. "Space Invaders!" Kernel laughed again. The Robots were spiderlike with two missile launchers on it's back and Sub Machine guns on it's forearms, Kernel lowered the Airships as he sealed the exits the robots began loading themselves, Ge grabbed Zim by the collar and pushed her into the gargantuan ship, He pushed her into the bridge of the ship and forced her hand down on one of the controls, "Human flesh print detected" Systems unlocked, with that kernel threw Zim into a containment pod and sealed it while he flew the fleet of airships towards old natal where the great battle was raging, He quickly ran a diagnostic before repairing the robots and setting Xbox as friendly and PS3 and Wii as targets. He saw the battle beneath him and let his cargo drop, The spiders wiped out the PS3 squad in a matter of minutes as Kernel lowered the Fleet to a gentle landing, Only the two leaders were left, Kernel recognised them as Chedders and Ragnarok, He pulled the containment pod out with him as Jack came cautiously to greet him,* "Jack!" Kernel yelled "I brought you a present! Did you notice?"* "Well done Kernel, Soldiers, Strip these soldiers of any weapons they have and give them some plain clothes to put on, What's in the box Kernel?" (Jack killed the solider cutting him in half), now back to business, what the? (Ragnarok was not there anymore), trying to escape coward? come out and fight! Ragnarok: Then fight! (said Ragnarok as he stood behind Jack, he used the virtualizer to spawn a Shock sword) Jack ran to Ragnarok waving his laser sword, Ragnarok defended himself placing his shock sword in a horizontal position, but Jack's blade sliced his sword like butter.. Ragnarok: wrong sword!, wrong sword!!, need another one! (Ragnarok said as he tried to dodge Jack's attacks) Thermic lance! (Jack sliced it in two), bumper sword! (sliced again)... Jack: Is that all you got fanboy? I expected more from you! your head is mine!!! Ragnarok's efforts were useless, one by one all of his spawned weapons were destroyed by Jack's ultimate sword, he knew he needed something more powerful, but it would deplete the virtualizer energy, he selected the Moon blade, a 3 meter mech adapted laser blade, rescaled for his use... Ragnarok swung the Moon blade, Jack tried to defend placing his sword vertically, but the blast knocked Jack to the ground.. Ragnarok: Looks like now you are on the ground Jack, are you ready to die? | GDN waked up in the white room again. GDN: I must find a way to get to Zim! But if they find me, I'm done! He decided to go. He looked around, there was a bed and a closed vent. He found a coin under the bed and used it to remove the screws from the vent door and got inside the vent. He crawled for minutes until he found the room he was in before, with all the weapons. GDN got out of the vents and intothe room. He searched for the blade, this time it was at a lower place, so he got no problems getting to it. He also stole a BR55 Battle Rifle. GDN: Now I need something to get to Zim... GDN then saw next to him a weird tool. He remembered seeing that tool whenever one of the hooded men opened a portal. GDN: That must be a portal tool... He picked it up and concentrated. The tool started to glow. He closed his eyes and said: GDN: Take me to wherever Zim is... A portal appeared right in front of Zim, making a lot of noise. One of the hooded men entered the room. Hooded man: Stop right now! GDN: Not a chance! This time I'm going. Hooded man: Sorry, but you leave me no choice... GDN then felt an even stronger pain in his heart. He screamed. GDN: What... What did you do to me? Hodded man: I just told your brain to tell your heart to stop beating. Not right off the bat, mind you, the heart is a stubborn muscle. But it ain't that stubborn. GDN used his remaining forces to enter the portal before the man could do anything else to him. He spawned on top of a building. Down below he could see Kernel taking Ragnarok and Ched to cells, and releasing Zim from a pod. GDN: Looks like that everyhting depends on me now... Suddenly, Ragnarok starts to fight Jack. GDN: It's my chance! GDN carefully picks it up. "How...How did you get this?" He looks back up to see a flash of data and numbers, [Data]GDN nowhere to be seen. She closes her eyes and has another vision - This time she seems to be on a very high building. The view shifts to look below and she can see the ship, along with several soldiers, Kernel, Jack fighting Ragnarok, Ched - And herself. Zim opens her eyes and shakes her head. She looks all around her, but can't find the source of the vision. She then notices the tall building that sits right next to the ship and equipment. From her location, it's too difficult to see on top of it, but he can make out the silhouette of a figure on top, and a small blue glow. Whoever that is...It'd better be GDN... GDN charges towards Kernel and prepares to deliver a blow, but he dodges and GDN misses. He quickly blocks his counterattack and uses the opportunity to deliver a critical blow to Kernel. He pierces throught him and begins to drain his energy using the blade. Kernel screams ang swings his arm, throwing GDN away next to Zim's cell. Zim: GDN, LOOK OUT!!! Kernel jumps towards GDN and is ready to kill him with his sword. GDN closes his eyes and prepares for the worse. Kernel: What the??? [data]GDN blocked Kernel at the right moment. [data]GDN: GDN, use the blade to free your friends! GDN uses the blade to absorb the cell's energy and disable them while [data]GDN distracts Kernel. GDN, Ched and Zim hop onto a Warthog and speed away, passing by Ragnarok and Jack. Ched: What about Ragnarok? GDN: We'll have to pick him up later... GDN then feels the pain again. He screams loudly and almost crashes the Warthog. Zim: GDN, what's happening??? GDN: That hooded man... He used some kind of spell on me... [Ragnarok spawned another moon blade on his other arm, the Virtualizer energy ran out completely, it was a duel now] Jack and Ragnarok began to fight each other, blasts of energy raged in all directions as both enemies fought each other, complete opposites, a nemesis battle! Rage began to rise from Jack as Ragnarok continued to block his attacks, he continued to strike creating discharges, sending Ragnarok back until he crossed both blades creating an energy arc, Jack smashed it with full power of his twin laser sword creating an explosion... Ragnarok was knocked to the ground, the virtualizer overheated and began to melt Jack was knocked back too, his laser sword consumed itself from the high energy levels overload There was just a crater from the explosion and 2 figures on the ground... A cloaked helgan scout was watching nearby, he immediately called Ched to return with aid and support, helgan units on H-03 were alerted and headed on a full strike to Old natal, this time was a serious invasion, dropships and tanks left H-03, several helgan cruisers started to arrive launching pods with assault soldiers to the ground... | The floating Helghan superbase immediately caught Jack's attention, making him frantically bark orders into his communicator. "Jack to HALO!!" Jack yelled, "Position over O.N. ASAP!!" High above, orbiting the rather small in comparison planet, the Halo superstation Sigma slowly moved into position over Old Natal, it's ring clearly visible from the ground below. With the Halo in position, Jack taps into the city's media servers. "Attention ALL TROOPS," Jack began, "This is a code RED. I repeat- code RED. Deploy all units!! Send out all troops!! Employ all defenses and arliments! Sony is at our front doorstep once more, and I REFUSE to let this city DIE!!" Suddenly, as though the call to war was a wake-up siren, Covenant troops poured out from their homes, Spartans and Agents of all kinds stormed down the streets on various Halo and Crackdown vehicles. Pelicans, Hornets and several other aircraft too to the air, clouding the skies in a Microsoft haze. The battle over Old Natal began. "Now for you," Jack mumbled, picking up Ragnarok with his Kienct, "I never wanted war, but if you insist... then prepare for your DEMISE." Jack, using much of his strength, hurled Ragnarok across the sky, sending the soldier plummeting into the inner reaches of the city. | Zim helps GDN to the passenger seat, then takes the wheel and steers through the streets of Old Natal, with Ched in the back of the vehicle. Zim picks up the blade with one hand, but hears a noise from the trunk of the Warthog. Slowly turning around, she sees Kernel perched on the trunk of the vehicle, heaving for air and angry as ever, wearing a malevolent grin on his face. "And you thought...you could...get away from me...that easily?" He pushes Ched aside and quickly jumps to the front of the Warthog, snatching the blade right from Zim's hands. As GDN clutches his chest and attempts to attack with his pocket knife, Kernel counterattacks with the glowing blade, and GDN holds his arms up in front of him, shutting his eyes tight - But he doesn't aim for GDN. Before anyone can react, Kernel delivers a fatal blow with the blade, right to Zim. Kernel grins satisfactorily as he slices right through her back. The Warthog comes to a halt. GDN slowly opens his eyes to see Kernel standing over him, and behind, the blade in Zim's back. He opens his eyes wide in horror, Kernel about to bring his wrist-blades down on him. Ched lunges at him, but he merely brushes him aside with his hand, sending him flying several feet. "Well...you pesky...soldier...Looks like no one...Can save you...now." As he raises his arms, about to attack, he's grabbed by someone from behind. GDN opens his eyes to see Zim with Kernel in a choke-hold, surrounded by an aura and eyes glowing blue. She raises him off his feet with one hand gripping his throat, then rips the blade out with the other and throws the gray, lifeless object to the ground. "I'm no murderer...I'll leave it to fate." Zim launches Kernel over the city's walls and into the watery depths below. As GDN and Ched slowly get up, GDN clutching his chest, they find themselves surrounded by more than fifty of Jack's soldiers. Every soldier in the entire city had been called by Jack to go to war. They hold their weapons up to the trio, and they raise their arms in the air and drop to their knees - Zim remains standing, still surrounded by the aura and glowing blue. With the energy of her counterpart, Kernel's ship, and Kernel himself, she releases several tremendous pillars of light that rise from the ground around her. Every soldier within a 100-yard radius is knocked unconscious. From Jack's location, he can see a dome of energy off in the distance, further into the city. | The battle on Old Natal has just begun, machine guns, energy weapons and cannons were the only sounds, more reinforcements began to arrive to help the Helgan, they got Metal gear rays and PMC soldiers to the battle, tanks were aligned on the ground as scarabs began to drop from the skies, helgan UAV's arrived and provided cover to ground units, Eucadians and Chernovans arrived too; warhawks got into battle and their dropships began to take tanks and troopers into the city... Ragnarok got knocked really hard this time, 2 ribs and a broken arm were the result, perhaps he even got his skull cracked from the impact, meanwhile the remnants of team Black were rising from the rests of the crashed dropship... Black 2: we lost Black 1, to all units near the center of the city, we need to rescue Ragnarok, his suit says his vitals are critical!! Cloaked scouts began to run through the city, hiding in the shadows from enemies, several of them were killed in their travel by elites, soldiers who knew how to identify cloaked, units until a scout finally got to his destiny.... PS forces placed a temporal command center near Old Natal, they took Ragnarok to the medical wing and got him into medical attention, his vitals were critical and his back had several injuries from the melted Virtualizer... | The medical team was treating Ragnarok's injuries, his column was damaged and his skull was cracked. Doctor: He wont be able to walk again, at least not by himself, prepare the mechanical implants Helgan technology research provided useful in Ragnarok's operation, his recovery ratio was astounding but still had to take time, an external exoskeleton was added to provide movement to his legs and more power to his arms, his broken ribs were healed and they added a metal case to protect his skull as it was severely damaged by the impact, his recovery would take a while. The job of the doctor was satisfactory, as Ragnarok would be awaken not as himself anymore, but as an improved version of what he was, diagnostics showed an increment of 230% of his strength and a 150% increase on his endurance. As Ragnarok was recovering form the operation, the war raged in Old Natal, MS forces were numerous but the PS army was managing contain their attack and infiltrate into Old Natal, meanwhile on the basement of the building, one hand rises between the corpses of Team Red. Mercuy rode towards the main battle zone of Old Natal with Natalie on the back of his mongoose, as he is riding along he spots a lone soldier running through the alleyways of Old Natal, but looked closer at the tag on his uniform, and found he was a high ranked soldier, probably comiing to tell the troops vital intelligence, and Mercuy couldn't let that happen. "Natalie, meet up with Chief and Frank to defend this zone, I have to deal with that officer." "Alright, see you on the far side." "I hope." Mercuy rolled off the Mongoose as Natalie hopped into the driver's seat, Mercuy then drew his DMR and aimed at the soldier. "Stop right there or I'll shoot." | Ched sprinted towards the battlefield and slided behind an upturned Hornet for cover. A Helghast immediately recognized him, and rushed over to his position. "Glad to have you back sir!" The Helghast yelled over the gunfire as he tossed Ched a grime covered canvas bag. "Well, it's good to be back, I'll always be here for you guys whenever you need my help." "What?" "Nevermind," "Okay," The Helghast nodded and returned his focus to the ongoing war. Ched opened up the bag to find his equipment laying there along with some rounds of ammunition. "And I'm very disappointed in you, especially. You failed your first mission and lied to me, and I'm surprised it took me this long to find out! You're nothing but data, you don't mean anything. But this time you're going to follow my orders. You're going to do what you were made to do." [Data]Zim digitalizes her cane and looks behind her at [Data]GDN. "Get the antidote and get out of here. I'll meet up with you later." She charges towards the hooded man as [Data]GDN and his counterpart head towards the portal. As she's about to bring down her cane on the hooded figure, he flicks a button on the device and she stops in her tracks. After a pause, [Data]Zim turns and looks towards the two GDNs making their way to the portal. Her eyes are a cloudy gray. [Data]GDN and jumps out of the way with his counterpart right as [Data]Zim's cane hits the ground next to him. He shakes his head and looks at her as she advances towards them once again. The antidote falls to the ground and breaks into pieces. The hooded man smirks from underneath his hood and steps backwards into a portal. The other two follow, but one of them pauses before entering. He glances behind him and curls his hand into a fist - upon releasing it, GDN jolts awake, and the hooded figure steps through the portal. "Wh...What's going on?!" Occasionally Blue would roar along with a phrase or two from whatever was playing. "Man," Blue thought, "I could lie here all day. He left the command center confused, who would drop an EMP bomb on the city, it would be a very stupid move from MS, and Nintendo is nowhere to be seen yet. Helgan Sgt: We got intel from our scouts, it was GDN, he somehow got access to all of MS EMP bombs Ragnarok: [curses] what a fool, I need to reach him, tell the troops that the temporal retreat to the outskirts of the city is still on going Helgan Sgt: Yes sir Ragnarok takes an armored APC and goes to where GDN was located, all PS forces begin to take a temporal defensive retreat while defending themselves from the heavy MS attack, if the bomb strikes, all electronic MS forces would be neutralized and PS army would be able to wipe out the remnants easily Ragnarok makes his way to where GDN was, he saw him driving on a car but it was to late, his car crashed with his APC, Ragnarok got out of the armored vehicle... | Zim turns to [Data]GDN. As she raises her cane over him, she stops and falls back, holding her head in her hands. [Data]GDN seizes this opportunity to pull out his pocket knife for defense as Zim struggles to move towards him. She suddenly lunges towards [Data]GDN and continues to fight as he tries to defend himself. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - As GDN and Ragnarok begin to argue, [Data]Zim digitalizes behind them. Ragnarok looks over at her, confused, as GDN jumps towards him. "Duck!" He tackles Ragnarok, pushing him out of the way just as [Data]Zim swings her cane. "GDN, what's going on here?!" Ragnarok shouts at GDN as he pushes him off. [Data]Zim dashes towards Ragnarok and manages to hook him by the collar with her cane, swinging him around and tossing him right into the wall of a nearby building. "You wanna fight? Alright, I'll give you a fight!" Ragnarok stands up, brushing rubble and debris off of himself. Two laser blades shoot out of his arms as he advances towards [Data]Zim. "Ragnarok, don't!" He ignores GDN's persistent warnings and manages to slice [Data]Zim through the arm, but his blade passes right through. GDN is about to try to stop him, but notices something out of the corner of his eye. A couple of hundred yards away, a hooded figure stands in an alley, hidden in the shadows. He's holding a device of some sort. That must be it... As Ragnarok and [Data]Zim continue to battle, GDN sprints towards the other side of the alley, hoping to catch the hooded man by surprise. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Zim pins [Data]GDN against the wall with her cane. | Ched ran, fast, well the best you could run with a bullet wound that is. He staggered on his bruised up foot and clutched his arm, and eventually got out of the alleyway. He looks over his shoulder and much to his fear and surprise, finds that Mercuy was no longer laying there on the ground. The pain was too much, he hid behind a nearby corner, and puts his back against the brick wall, then sliding down onto the dirt floor. He ripped through the canvas bag, took out some white bandaged material, and hastily wrapped his shoulder with it. It wasn't much, but it had to do for now. The EMP discharge had blown out his transmitter and all contact he had with the outside world. And for the first time in his life, he was alone. Was he? He heard a rustling in the bushes nearby and wondered if was Mercuy or just another gust in the wind. Fear overtoke him, and he decided to equip his gear instead and finally get rid of the bag that was just restricting his movements. Ched slid the knife into his belt, strapped the rifle to his back, and kept a pistol at hand. He also hooked on a fragmention grenade onto his harness along with a few rounds of ammunition. It certainly didn't help that much with the weight, but at least he didn't have to carry the canvas bag around anymore. Kernel exited the tent to find a large battalion of Sony Soldiers aiming their weapons at him, They fired, Kernel absorbed the kinetic energy of each bullet and raised his hands they pulsed green as a Shockwave erupted from them, Killing the large battalion instantly, He sent his spiders to reinforce Jack whilst he hacked into the terminal in the medical tent. Kernel plugged his arm into it as he rummaged around for the info he was looking for, There in a large picture was GDN with orders to kill all Sony Employees at Sony Outpost Delta and to plant evidence to frame Microsoft, thus provoking a war. Kernel inquired* "I am," said the most left one "These are battle versions of you, Stronger. Faster. But not smarter, I brought an upgrade for you, he held out a black sphere With veins of green light encircling it, Kernel touched it and held it in the palm of his hand, it sank in and began to change him, Kernels suit was replaced by A Stealth Alloy armour, improved agility, his muscles where upgraded to maximum efficiency improved speed. A Helmet and Visor slotted itself on it's head as it grew from his neck, Improved Perception and Intelligence, Finally a long green blade was attached to his wrist. "Hm, they must be busy taking care of that war..." She sprints to the end of the hall, then motions towards GDN and Ragnarok to follow. All three of them press their backs against the wall as a hooded figure passes by, but luckily he doesn't notice them. After several flights of stairs and a few lengthy hallways, they reach the highest level of the building - The Altar of Naught. There's a large, round platform and no walls, revealing a dark, open sky that surrounds all sides. "They're not here...! But we searched the entire castle..." [Data]Zim looks all around and notices a dark portal open - It seems like someone had used it just minutes before they arrived. "C'mon, let's go!" She pulls GDN and Ragnarok through it just before it disappears in a cloud of shadows. Upon exiting the portal, the three of them find themselves back on the battlefield, only a few kilometers away from the center of the raging war. GDN sees [Data]GDN to his left, helping Zim to her feet. "Zim, are you're alright?!" He runs to her side to help, [Data]Zim and Ragnarok following. "Yeah, no thanks to Ragnarok here..." GDN pushed Strength Kernel back and stood in front of Endurance Kernel, when Strength Kernel stood up he charged into Endurance Kernel breaking his defense and knocking him to the ground, then Endurance Kernel disappeared GDN: It works!, but what do we do with the strong guy!! (GDN ducks as Strength Kernel strikes above him) [Data]Zim looks at psychic Kernel attacking [Data]GDN, she sneaks on the back of Psychic Kernel and covers his eyes, GDN realizing the plan lures Strength Kernel to his psychic counter part that confused launched an attack to him, Strength Kernel falls to the ground and disappears. [Data]Zim: Ragnarok! over here!! Ragnarok in a moment of opportunity grabs Agility Kernel by his arm Ragnarok: Finally get you!! (He then launches Agility Kernel to Psychic Kernel knocking both figures down and then disappearing) Kernel powers begin to deplete as each strike of Zim's sword damages his blade, Zim gets to put Kernel off guard and gives a final strike, Kernel with the last part of his energy launches himself back with Zim's sword getting to cut part of his face Kernel: We'll meet again, that's for sure (Kernel vanishes) The teams comes up together to catch some air as GDN begins to analyze the situation with the war Ragnarok: Looks like that takes care of him temporarily, hey Zim I see you both have a data version of yourselves, do I need to worry about a data Ragnarok or what? | Flamingemu gave up on Blue eventually; if he called, great!; if not, you know who your friends are. He decided eventuallly on just walking towards the microsoft base, and killing any soldiers he happened to see on the way. However he reached the mushroom base first of all, he remembered training here; jumping thwomps, killing goombas, his leader telling him he was a slacker, beating him with sticks, hurting him. It was time for the repercussions of hurting flamingemu, all of flamingemus enemies die. Flamingemu ran straight towards the weapons locker, put his key card into the console. "please state need for these weapons" "I'm gonna blow you guys sky high" flamingemu laughed, stupid recorded messages. "Oh are you now?" the voice said back to him. uh oh. "Please stand still while we scan you in prisoner 0245, Blue will be called shortly to have you incinerated. Have a nice day!" Flamingemu was stuck, one move and he would be thwompt there and then. Zim and her counterpart jumped onto the vehicles and finished the remaining soldiers with their canes. They jumped back to the Warthog. Zim: Well, you weren't so bad... [Zim]: What did you expect? I'm a copy of you! GDN: Can't we leave the compliments to when we get inside that building? Ragnarok: Ooooh my god!!! Zim: What is it??? Ragnarok: ENEMY TANK!!! The tank shot the Warthog and everyone flew 10-15 meters ahead to the ground. The tank pointed his cannon at them and was about to fire, but it suddenly exploded. Everyone looked at the source of the explosion. A Sony tank, with lots of GDN's soldiers around. Soldier: Sir! Sir! Good to see you! GDN: What are you doing here? Soldier: We discovered that Gin lied to us about you. So we are here to help you guys! GDN: It's good to have my army back... Ok men! Your task is to cover me and my team while we invade the MS Main Building! We are ending this war, here and NOW! As GDN said that, more MS troops started to come from all directions. GDN's troops took care of them while him and his team entered the building. The first room was a big empty hall, with three broken elevators in front of them and two staircases on each side. GDN: Careful, there may be men here protecting this place... ((tl,dr: GDN and his team head to the MS main building, they are almost killed but saved by GDN's army, which is back. Nothing on sight, not even a single paper... Zim: It looks like that someone took everyhting and got out of there... Look, the desks are all opened... GDN searches every desk and cabinet on the room. He was about to give up when he found a small piece of paper hidden inside a lone cabinet. He opened it, and it had a number on it. GDN: 589301... But what does that mean? Ragnarok: Hey, GDN, look at this... Ragnarok removed a painting on the wall and revealed a small screen with number keys under it. GDN inputted the code he found earlier, and the wall behind the commander's seat rised, revealing a hidden elevator. Zim: Would you look at this... GDN: So, the common sense tells to get inside and investigate... What are you waiting for? They enter the elevator and go down a bunch of floors, to an underground security zone. The elevator stops and the doors open. Ragnarok: That was way too easy... Zim: I agree. GDN: Don't worry, guys, I got you covered! As GDN steps out of the elevator, an alarm sounds. "Intruders dectected at sector 11, security bots are being deployed" Zim: Nice move, soldier... GDN: How was I to know??? They try to take the elevator up, but it won't work because of the alarm. The real room must be around here somewhere... GDN looks at a map of the area. GDN: Looks like the command room is on the lowest floor... But it is protected by an eletronic door, and the power's out... The three grab a flashlight each, and proceed to the dark and humid corridors. Distant faint screeches can be heard. Zim: I don't like this place... GDN: Me neither... Let's just find the generator, then the command room and get out. Ragnarok: Listen, I'm probably crazy, but I think that something's been there and scared all the Microsoftians away... GDN: Heh, you get scared easily... Ragnarok: But this place is still freaky... Zim passes her flashlight around the room, searching for any signs of the generator. She notices several thick wires running along the ceiling. Those must lead to the generator... As Zim quietly moves along, Ragnarok close behind her, she keeps her eyes on the ceiling so the wires can lead her to the location of the generator. She bumps into a table against the wall. "That's strange...The wires stop here - They go down this wall and right into the floor..." Ragnarok jumps as they both hear a faint metallic creaking noise and whispers quietly. "I don't think we're alone here..." GDN then calls out from the corridors below the floor, his voice muffled. "Hey! I found the generator - " He opens the cable box and flips the switch. Zim and Ragnarok shield their eyes as several gloomy florescent lights flicker on. Ragnarok suddenly tenses up, his eyes wide, speaking quietly from the corner of his mouth. "Z-Zim...Behind us." | Zim and Ragnarok run away from the robot, but a door that was open before closes, trapping them. They run around trying to stay away from the bot. GDN: What's happening up there??? Zim: GDN, DO SOMETHING!!! A GIANT BOT IS CHASING US!!! GDN: WHAT??? Hold on, I'll se what I can do! GDN runs around the room, looking for some way to deactivate the bot, but there are none. He then notices a panel next to the circuit box. He opens it and sees lots of circuits that seem to be connected to the bots. Meanwhile, Zim and Ragnarok fight the bot. It picks Zim up and throws it at Ragnarok. The two are on the ground, trying to get up, while the bot approaches. Suddenly, another trap door opens under the bot and it falls on the same room where GDN is. GDN: Uh-oh, it wasn't supposed to do that... GDN grabs his rifle and fires at the bot, but it is equipped with a tough armor. It charges towards GDN, who dodges and uses the opportunity to climb the bot's back and search for a way to deactivate it. Zim: GDN, you still down there??? GDN: Hold on, I almost... Got it... The bot realizes that GDN is about to deactivate him and throws him throught the trap door. GDN is now on the same room as Zim and Ragnarok. Ragnarok: GDN, close the door!!! GDN pulls a switch and the trap door closes, trapping the bot on the generator room. Zim: Great, now we have a metalic monster searching for us! GDN: He won't get far... He's trapped on that room now... And we should get going, the power's on. | "So, what's the plan?" Zeta asked, back at Blue's home. "Alright. One second." Dizzy stood by the door, tapping her foot impatiently while Blue went over to his computer and pulled up a seat. "This will take a minute. It's high security stuff." Blue pressed a long list of keys, taking time to make sure he got the order right. After about three minutes, a computed voice spoke. "Stand by for final identification process. If you are not authorized personnel, please leave your spot immediately." Zeta was curious. "What does that even mean, final identific-" Suddenly, a beam of electricity about a foot in diameter shot from the ceiling and hit blue square in the head. The thing had to have at least 100000 volts in it. After a firing of about 30 seconds, it cutoff. "Genius, isn't it? Refreshing for me, lethal for anyone else! Naturally, I designed it myself." "Alright show-off," Zeta sighed, "on with the show." Blue pressed a final key, and the room went pitch black. The room's windows were sealed with iron bars and the shutters were closed. Out of habit, Zeta pressed a button on her armor that created a powerful glow. "Scared?", Blue teased. "Don't worry, it'll be plenty bright enough soon." Sure enough, a bright blue holographic display launched. Blue waved his hands through the graphics. A square device of some sorts was shown, with a plug on one side. "A Wii MotionPlus?" Zeta laughed. Blue smiled before saying "That remark? That's the proof our scientists have been doing their job so well. The little Wii MotionPlus... it wasn't much, was it?" "Nope," Zeta said. The battle still raging in the distance, and Mercuy was searching for one Sony troop, who coud possibly have no infulence at all. He went into a final alleyway, to see the officer at the end of it, holding a pistol and looking over at the river, Mercuy quickly readied his weapon, and aimed at him. "haha, we meet again, Turn around slowly, and drop the weapon." To his suprise, the soldier turned around, but kept clutching his pistol, and started to slowly move towards Mercuy, as he moved backwards. ((see what I'm getting at yet?)) "DROP IT OR I SHOOT!" He ignored Mercuy, and kept walking, then the echo of a gunshot can be heard through the area, as Mercuy pulls the trigger, the weapon aimed right below his chest, but, the bullet just went right through, and brushed the river bank in the background. "What the f-" Mercuy had established that the figure was not human, a hologram, or a program, but in either case, his target was no where to be seen, obviously operating an image of himself from a distance. | GDN and Zim entered the command room, it was dark. GDN searched for a light switch and turned the light on. Zim: WHAT THE??? Behind the desk was a dead, bloddy body, ripped apart by something. GDN: Shh, Zim, calm down... Zim tried to control herself and not to scream. GDN hopped into the chair behind the desk and hacked into the computer using the device Ragnarok gave him earlier. He could see information about every soldier from MS, Natalie, Jack, Mercuy... And Kernel. GDN: Ok, now where are the main controls? GDN kept searching as Ragnarok came back controlling the bot. Ragnarok: Anything GDN? GDN: No... And watch out with your "toy". GDN then found something interesting. Camera recordings from the area. It showed an old MS commander fleeing from the undergorund base, then the bots attacking everyone in sight. GDN: Looks like that the bots lost control and started to attack everyone... Zim: Bots? Does that mean that there are more??? GDN: Probably... Hey, I think that I'm almost done, these look like the secret MS security codes... But I can't input them from there. Zim: Great... What we do now??? GDN: We head to the Microsoft Security Central. Zim: Aren't we already in it? Ragnarok: No, that's command central, not security central... The security central is a large military base with lots of soldiers defending it. Zim: Great, couldn't our life be any easier? GDN: Well, we infiltrated a military base a long time ago, right Zim? Zim: Yeah, but we barely made it out... GDN: Anyway, if we are going to stop this war, we need to head to that base and take control of all security! Distant screeching can be heard. | The three of them make to the elevator shaft, Ragnarok fighting off a couple more bots as he grips the rope, then following Zim and GDN up to the surface. As they reach the doorway of the third floor, they hear commotion coming from downstairs. Zim dashes around the corner, skidding to a halt at the top of the rather lengthy staircase. She looks around for a faster and more efficient way to get down, then spots the cylindrical florescent lights hanging on the ceiling. Zim pulls out her cane and hooks onto one, using it as a zipline of sorts, reaching the second floor in a matter of seconds. She looks up to see a ridiculous amount of security bots in the room, blocking access to the staircase that leads to the first floor. Wait...Wasn't [Data]Zim guarding this area?! She quickly looks all around the room, but [Data]Zim is gone. GDN and Ragnarok catch up to her after the long trek down the staircase, trying to catch their breath. Ragnarok hunches with his hands on his knees and wipes his forehead. "We need to get to the bottom floor to find [Data]GDN - and the exit." "Great...Now how are we gonna...get past these guys?" | Zim jumps towards the enemies and begins to fight them with the cane, while GDN covers her with the rifle and Ragnarok shoots laser beams at some more. GDN glances throught the large windows in the building to see his army getting wasted outside by the Microsoftians. GDN: There are too many of them!!! Ragnarok: Don't worry, I'll help them! You two head to the Central Security! Zim: That's easier said than done, do you even know where is it located? GDN: I have guesses... Zim: Great... They continue fighting but the bots make them retreat back to the second floor, to the rooftop. Zim: Ok, soldier, what we do now? We are surrounded! GDN looks around and sees a gunship standing in the helipoint. GDN: Follow me! GDN and Zim went to the helicoter and GDN hopped on the pilot seat. Zim: What's your plan? GDN: Isn't it obvious? Hop on! Zim entered the gunner seat and GDN started the engine. The bots were heading towards them. GDN: Zim, use the machine gun! Zim looked at the panel, with lots of buttons in it. Zim: How??? GDN: Use the joystick! Zim fired the minigun and destroyed half of the bots. GDN took off and started to head towards the battlefield. GDN: We need to help our allies first... | Matthews sat on the cold bed, it was thin and stank of dried blood and other unimaginable substances, The Scrapyard was worse than he expected, But it was better than being dead in any case, He kicked a Rat as it tried to scent his foot and wandered out into the dark scrap piles. On third day he had discovered a Large Steam Powered Robot that must've been made to process scrap, It it was roughly humanoid in shape, with a large processor in its chest and a cockpit in its head, its arms were long and powerful with 3 fingered hands on each arm, Its legs were adapted to running quickly and jumping although When Matthews had designed them he couldn't help himself. It also had a large caged area at the back that was full of small metal cubes that was obviously the purified Iron and Aluminum depending on its weight. The Control Panel had been completely ruined by scavengers pulling vital parts from it. He had decided to fix it, he had spent every spare waking moment searching for the bits he needed. He walked through the valleys of scrap, picking at the ruins and placing various electrical components into his bag, He entered the area known for some reason as the Bay, there was a large metal gate that had a faded XBox insignia on it, He walked up to it as it whirred and clicked until a small door appeared, just large enough for Matthews to casually walk through, This is Where SCA43 was. The Large Robot was stood in all its glory in its dock, It had automatically returned here after being damaged and its Engineer light was flashing. Matthews climbed up the Balcony and onto its "head" it sank gently as its massive shock absorbers flexed. Matthews worked into the night as he reassembled the computer. SCA43 activated in an instant, Its Mirrored 'Eyes' focused on the Tall engineer, Its head twisted in a naive curiosity before recognizing Matthews as a friend, It whirred and its ramp lowered, Allowing Matthews entry, Matthews pulled the skeleton of the former driver out of the seat and donned the drivers jacket, He applied the neural interfacer and took control of the Behemoth. The Robot took a step forward, a gentle lumber before it set off at a fast sprint, Its Legs pumping furiously as it reached the Gate, The Gate immediately slid open as Matthews erupted into the bright sunlight, The Commander. the Robot smashed through the barricaded entrance to the Scrapyard and the rest of the enslaved microsoftians cheered as it took down the guard towers, He directed the robot to the command centre of the Sony Camp firing on all cylinders it landed in front of Zelda's tent, The Elf ran out and gasped at the might of the behemoth. The Glass Chamber unsealed and revealed a grinning Matthews. "What are you doing!?" Zelda shouted "Saving the world!" Matthews yelled back drunk off excitement "Come with me!" with that the ramp slid open and Zelda quickly ran in. The Robot leapt off towards old Natal. "What are we doing?!?" Zelda screamed as she sat in the seat "We'll Be destroyed!" "Maybe!" Matthews shouted over the roar of the engine "But i have a boss to save!" **** A few minutes later the rusted robot leapt into the clearing where Jack lay, unconscious, the robot picked it up with a tender hand and placed him in the **** pit as it opened. "ZELDA STRAP HIM IN" Matthews commanded as the Sony Troops began aiming at him, The Robot quickly turned and raced back down the alley it had came. ((Lets just say I'm back... | GDN dashed throught the skies while Zim kept the miniguns blazing and pointed at the enemies down below. Zim: This isn't so hard... I could do this all day! GDN: Heads up, armored targets, you might want to switch to the remote-controlled missiles. Zim: And how do I do that? GDN: *sigh* You see the screen in the middle of the panel? Zim: Yes... GDN: Click the large button below it and use the joystick to control the missile. Zim tried it and the missile flew towards a building to the left. GDN: Aw, Zim, you missed! The missile detonated the building and it fell over the enemies, killing a lot of them. Zim: Who said that I aimed at the tank? GDN: Well, that will do... Now we can head to the main security center! GDN flew towards the industrial area of the city. There were many abandoned factories there. Two enemy ships appeared behind them. Zim: Uh-oh, we got company!!! GDN: Evasive manuevers, HOLD ON! GDN banked to the right to dodge the initial attacks. The two ships began to fire missiles at them, but he used flares to avoid them. Zim: I got them! Zim fired a missile and hit one of the ships. The other just got angrier. He fired 5 missiles at them. Zim: GDN, use the flares again, MORE MISSILES!!! GDN: I can't! I'm out of flares! Zim: WHAT??? One of the missiles hit the tail of the chopper, sending it spinning around. GDN: Hold on, I'm going to try an emergency landing! GDN aimed at a deep, large river that crossed the industrial district. The chopper landed in it without exploding. GDN broke open the cockpit's door and swam to the surface. GDN: Arrr! Zim, are you alright? Zim, where are you? Zim was still on the helicopter. Ragnarok and the mech headed to the front line, helgans and GDN's PS troopers were on a barricade defending their position, magnetic howitzers were launching plasma projectiles to their enemies as plasma bombs and cannon rounds were returned Ragnarok: Hows the battle going? Helgan trooper: They got us blocked, we can't advance! we need air support to take down those enemies but their anti air defense systems wont let them get close! Ragnarok: Anti air wraiths huh? Let me see what I can do Ragnarok checked the robot systems for a self destruct command.. Ragnarok: Soldier, your grenades, now! I need 10 at minimum! The trooper handed all the grenades he could to Ragnarok, he fitted them inside the rusty machine and then jumped over the barricade and activated the self destruct mechanism while setting the mech to run to the anti air tanks who were conveniently close to some volatile plasma batteries, while the Security bot ran like crazy nearby units realized the plan and shot at it with most of their bullets bouncing from the powerful armor Ragnarok: He's already there! get cover!!! A great explosion occurred and the anti air defense vehicles were wiped out Helgan Radio Trooper: Skies are clear, move on NOW! Several Eucadian warhawks and Chernovan dropships got to the place Eucadian Pilot: Ready, deploy bombs Warhawks clamps opened and dropped their bombs leaving the ground scorched Ragnarok: Its now or never, move on! The troopers moved into the city of Old Natal, tanks, armored vehicles and robots made their way through Meanwhile Ragnarok returned to the command tent to speak with H-03 commander H-03 Commander: Good job there Ragnarok, we will take care of the situation, as for you I've got a small requisition you can take, here take this permission to the vehicle bay Ragnarok: Thanks commander, I'll check it out Ragnarok walked to the vehicle bay and gave the permission paper to the officer in charge Officer: Oh so the package is for you, here you go, a little gift from EDN III (the officer opened some hanger doors) Ragnarok: Excellent, this will do It was a spider mech armed with an energy gun and an anti tank cannon, he got inside and activated the transformation, the mech bended his legs and became a tank. Ragnarok: Ok, now lets input GDN localization codes. . . . ., looks like he is, on a river? Ragnarok moved his tank at full speed to their location just to find the ruins of a crashed helicopter and GDN trying to take some one out of the bulk of the helicopter, Ragnarok hoped out of the tank and ran to the crashed vehicle Ragnarok: I leave for a minute and look what it happens.... Ragnarok and GDN opened the smashed helicopter door, Zim's hand came out and punched GDN GDN: Hey! what was that for? Zim: You're a bad pilot, we almost died! GDN: Well If you had take care of the enemy vehicle or missiles none of this would have happened! Ragnarok: Hey guys can we plea- GDN-Zim: Shut up! The ship fired missiles at them, and the buildings around began to fall on them. Zim: Get inside the factory!!! Everyone entered the abandoned factory. It was an old car factory. The ship gave up firing to find a way around and ambush them. GDN: Ok, so, alright... Zim: You don't have a clue on what to do now, right? GDN: Was it too obvious? Suddenly, the gunship fired its missiles at the factory's walls and they began to collapse. GDN: RUN!! They ran into the office blocks, with missiles exploding behind them and sending the factory to pieces. Then the wall right next to them exploded, sending them all flying across the room into the opposite wall and knocking them all unconscious. ---------------------------------------- "Get up! Get up you lazy fool!" GDN: Huh... "I said GET UP!!!" GDN felt a punch in the face. He opened his eyes, to see a Microsoft soldier in front of him, and some more around. Zim and Ragnarok were being held by other soldiers. Soldier: So, look who we found! The little rat that is the cause of all of this! GDN: For your knowledge, it wasn't... Soldier: SHUT UP! I play the cards here. Listen, me and my men are willing to kill every one of you right here and now! GDN: And... 'This is the WiiMotion Omega, the most powerful device our scientists have made yet.' He said looking even bluer than usual in the holograms light. 'When plugged into a solider's armour in can increase abilities such as speed, agility and accuracy by up to 70%. It could be the key to our success on the battlefront and behind the lines in elite missions.' 'However...?' Zeta said questioningly, she could feel a catch coming. 'Its stored in a top secret location, a underground base in a small archipelago off the coast of New Natal.' Blue answered with a more serious tone. 'New Natal? Are you serious? Thats Microsoft land.' Zeta had never known they had a base to close to dangerous territory. 'Yup. Its one of our oldest, built before New Natal extended so far. The only reason it is not abandoned is due to its secrecy. Having somewhere so close could be vital in the war. But the only way to reach it now is inland through the city. Then the undersea network tunnels can take us the rest of the way.' B3 continued, 'There is no way for such a valuable piece of equipment to be sent over by regular troops, and no one but elites can be trusted with its knowledge.' 'So we have to head over and get it? But we have a plan,' He said as Zeta eyes widened sceptically, 'Think about it, once we're in the city it will be simple to hide amongst all the civilians. Microsoft won't dare attack with anything big in case of causalities. If they discover us in the first place. Unfortunately that means we have to have stealth armour. Which is basically a good old bullet proof jacket. Nothing that could attract attention. Smuggling weapons in isn't going to be easy either, the defences may be weak inside the city but around it there is some of the most tough security Microsoft could find.' 'So its not so simple then.' Zeta said, looking out vaguely onto the grasslands of the Shroom base, thinking hard. 'Luckily other attacks are going on in and around Natal, so that should provide a ready-made distraction.' | GDN can hear the soldiers outside talk to each other. Soldier 1: What are you carrying there? Soldier 2: Two prisioners. Headed to Jack. Soldier 1: Ok... But Jack isn't at the base now, so they'll have to wait. Soldier 2: Whatever, just let me pass. The truck began to move again. GDN could hear some people commenting stuff about a spaceship. When the truck stopped again, two soldiers took them out of the truck and took them to their cells. During the path, GDN couldn't stop staring at the giant spaceship ready for launch on the base. GDN: Tell me, what is that spaceship for? Soldier: To transport people to our security central, in space! GDN: What? I thought that we already were at the security central! Soldier: Yeah, but it is only on space where we control the main functions. The ground base is just for deployment. Now beat it! The soldier threw GDN in a cell and Zim in another one, across the room. GDN sat there, thinking for hours. Zim: Hey, GDN, any plans yet? GDN: I already have one, but it involves swimming, so no. Zim: Very funny... GDN then had an idea. There was a bed in his cell, and the keys were hanging from a wall 3 meters away. He took the bed's sheet and wrapped it, then used it as a whip to make the keys fall. He then grabbed both ends of the sheet and used it to push the keys towards him. He then used them to open his cell. Zim: Nice work... Will you open my cell too? GDN: Just ask me nicely... GDN opened her cell and the two headed outside. The spaceship was still there, ready for launch. Zim: So, what are we waiting for? Let's input the codes! GDN: Calm down, didn't you hear what the man said? H-03 Commander: We got Old Natal under control, but most of the equipment data was wiped out by MS forces in their retreat, we just got very little information about MS, they have another base or city I think, all we know is that is called New Natal Ragnarok: New Natal I see..., I will investigate about that city, in the meanwhile I'll move to check what happened with Zim and GDN Ragnarok drove at full speed following the truck where they had Zim and GDN, a group of wraiths were guarding the caravan of vehicles and turned back to attack the approaching enemy Ragnarok: Guess is not going to be that easy.. Ragnarok activated the tank transformation mode that took out his 4 legs and his energy cannon, he tried to move from side to side evading the wraith projectiles, the tank's cannon blasted sending a round into one of the wraiths taking it down while one of the enemy projectiles got to hit Ragnarok's mech deactivating it.. Ragnarok: Eject active! (Ragnarok jumped out of the vehicle right before it exploded and ran to get cover behind some rocks, the 2 Wraiths that were left continued to get closer and eliminate its target Ragnarok: I'm doomed, there's no way I can evade them, uh whats this? (Ragnarok found a rocket launcher and 3 missiles next to him), what the?! this wasn't here?! anyway it is useful now Ragnarok ran to the other side of the rocks and shoot a missile to one of the tanks killing the driver on the turret, shoot a second one and destroyed the driver shield Ragnarok: [Curses] It's time to use my trusty hand gun, clear shot! | ((Sorry for the late post Mercuy, and this is all before Mercuy's encounter with Ched)) He was hanging off of a ledge from a window sill that was high above the ground at a deathly height. How he ended up there, was clueless to him. But he had bigger problems to deal with than to question the situation he had somehow gotten himself into. Ched looked down below him and saw an entire busy city going about there daily lives. People were casually walking up and down the sidewalk as if his existence was unknown to them. He tried to call out for help but to no avail was able to attract anyone's attention. The blaring sounds of the street had drowned out his voice, and no matter how hard he yelled, noone seemed to notice the peculiar man dangling from the apartment complex from up above. He was just left to dangle there, all alone without anyone's knowledge of his being. His hands started to slacken and were slowly starting to lose their grip on the stone ledge. Desperation rose inside of him, but there were no options he had left except for one. He let go. Ched fell through the still air, the breeze catching onto him as buildings flashed by ever so quickly. It felt like an eternity just falling through the sky until he had the concerete sidewalk in sight. As Ched was seconds away from kissing the ground, he closed his eyes and braced for impact. He hit the ground. Ched woke up in a sweat, his heart pounding inside his chest. He felt around his body, and finding that his body was indeed still intact, breathed a sigh of relief. I'm alive, and it was all just a dream. He repeated this over a few times in his head to comfort him. But quickly began to doubt his own words as he started to observe the surroundings of his position. Ched was no longer laying under the starry night from the night before, and he also found that the brick wall he was laying against had disapeared. And instead of the barren, war-ridden landscape he came to knew and love, it was replaced with a room that was entirely white all over. He stood up and reached for his pistol, but found that it was missing as well as the rest of his equipment. Ched attempted to search for a way out, but that was a little difficult considering that there were absolutely no windows or doors in sight. And just as he was about to accept that this was yet another one of his crazy dreams, a portal opened up behind him. A mysterious figure cloaked in a white hood had stepped out of it and looked him dead in the eye. His head started to throb excruciatingly for no apparent reason and a flash of white overcame him as he started to lose consciousness. "Wake up you lazy fool and get up." "Eruh...whu-?" One of the hooded figures punts him in the side and Ched rolls over in pain, clutching his side. "Gru..." "Useless and weak, I don't see why I shouldn't kill you right here and now." The figure summoned a portal behind him and out stepped someone else. Ched groaned and slowly opened his eyes only to be met with the eyes of the hooded figure. The headaches came again and he yelled out in pain. As he started to drift off into losing consciousness he caught a glimpse of.. himself? Before he had a chance to think about it, the white walls around him faded out into darkness. He was tossed out of the portal into the brick wall still unconscious and laid there for a couple of hours. The blinding sunlight started to rise over the horizon and Ched was woken up. He rubbed his shoulder, his body still radiating with pain as the memories of the hooded figures and white rooms were brought back into his head. Ched thought it was all merely a nightmare, but couldn't find any logical reasoning for the pain he had felt throughout his body. He closed his eyes again, wanting to recover as quickly as possible before Mercuy had found him during his weakened state. As his eyes were closed, a blue aura, resembling a figure, drifted in the air and seeped into his body. Ched's eyes shot open, the pains were gone and he felt rejuvenated as if he were "born again" as people said nowadays. He locked eyes with a wandering figure in the distance which he came to know as Mercuy and crept behind him, knife in hand. He felt that guns would ruin his element of surprise and the fun of it all now that he was more agile than ever. ((tl,dr: Ched's been constantly having nightmares about his phobia of heights and being alone which could lead to something more of a internal conflict, he also encounters his [DATA] self after being brought into a white room. The seemingly alone driver whistled the all-clear, the noise echoing in the shadowy surroundings. A thump sounded from inside a cargo crate, and a foot emerged, quickly followed by a body toppling onto dirty ground. 'Graceful.' Another voice sounded with muffled sarcasm from beneath a tarpaulin. Zeta's bedraggled head pushed up, shaking off the cover. 'Finaaallly.' B3 muttered, ignoring her. 'I thought I would never be able to stand up straight again...' The driver grunted a goodbye and revved his engine, keen to be off. It was extremely dangerous to assist elites, he was all to ready to be as far away as possible. Blue grabbed their gear from the back and flung a rucksack to Zeta containing the weapons. 'Next stop the airport. We can fly as far as New Natal.' Zeta coughed in the dust of the retreating car, 'Lets get going then. We're only half way.' Two more positioned themselves at the sealed-off entrance to Sony's research and development wing, acting as normal as a guard would be. And the other 4, well... they're patrolling around the base, looking as though they've been working there for most of their lives. As for Horatio, he made his way towards the central database, with a red, pulsating thumbdrive snuck away in his pocket. Ragnarok runs to the launchpad and observes Zim defending herself against several MS soldiers, one of them is sneaking behind Zim, ready to catch her, he quickly aims his gauss rifle, carefully points the scope on the guard's head and pulls the trigger, the bullet roams through the air and knocks the guard launching him several feet on the air.. Zim continues fighting and gets rid of the guards, Ragnarok walks from behind. Zim gives a quick turn and points her cane at where Ranarok was... Zim: I know you are here, show up now! Ragnarok deactivates his cloak field Ragnarok: That's how you say thank you? Zim: Thanks for what? Never sneak up on me like that Ragnarok: You didn't seem to notice the guy that was trying to get you a few minutes ago, anyway, wheres GDN? | GDN was on his own inside the spaceship. He went to the cockpit, where two pilots were controlling the ship. He used a flashbang to daze them and knocked them out. He then stole a space suit from one of them. GDN: Thanks for the suit, boys... He sat on the pilot's seat and took control of the ship. Minutes later, he finally exited the atmosphere and reached the Space Station. He was wearing a MS space suit, so nobody knew that he was an invasor. SS control: Welcome to the sanctuary... GDN: Requesting permission to land. SS control: The landing zone is clear. GDN landed the ship and hid the bodies in the ship's trash container. He exited the space ship to be greeted by 5 Microsoftians. MS astronaut: Welcome home! Hey, wasn't there another guy with you? GDN: Well, we got some trouble on the ground and had to do an emergency launch. MS astronaut: I see... Well, we got an assignment for you, we need an extra man on the main security room, can you do that? GDN: (Now finally some luck is showing up...) Sure, sure I can! The astronaut showed GDN the way to the main room, he entered it and there were 5 more men writing on keyboards. One of them glanced at him and said: Worker: So you're our new colleague? You better show some skill, this isn't a summer job! MS astronaut: I'm sure that he'll do nice... Se ya guys! The astronaut closed the door, leaving GDN alone with the other workers. GDN: Hehe... Ok, so, hi! Everybody ignored him. GDN: Ok then, I guess I'll begin working then... GDN sat on the empty chair and began to search the security records. Thanks to the codes he found back at Old Natal, he could acess everything. GDN (thinking): Now I just need to get these guys out of the way and begin working! Worker: Ahhh, what is it? GDN: Follow me, I'll show you! GDN made the worker follow him to a small room. He was too bored to think, and just followed without hesitating. When they got inside, GDN silently knocked him out. He walked out of the room and everybody looked at him. GDN: Well, he went to talk to the superiors about it. 1 was gone, now for the other 4... Luckily, someone asked for three men to head to the hangar and help with simething. Now there were only GDN and one man in the room. GDN easily fought him and hid his body in the small room. Two of the three others went back earlier. Worker 2: Hey, where's Bill? GDN: He went to the toilet... Worker 2: Oh... The two sat close to each other. GDN knocked both out by knocking one's head into another's. He heard the last guy coming. GDN hid next to the door, and the last worker entered the room. Worker 3: What the... Before he could realize what was happening, GDN choked him. Now the room was empty. GDN locked it and began to reorganize the data on the terminals. GDN: Time to end this war... He set all military equipment and vehicles to deactivate in 5 hours. But, someone found the bodies that GDN hid in the spaceship, and troops were sent to the room. Trooper: We know that you are here, Sony scum! Surrender, or we will breach! GDN looked around. There was a window overlooking the space. GDN quickly grabbed a space helmet and destroyed the window, being sucket out of the station. The troopers breached the room and got sucked too. GDN held onto the SS's external walls and searched for an entrance. Millions of CPUs, .jpegs, ROMs, .win and other various files were cycling all over the terminal's mainstreams at a million kilometers a second. The site humbled the Brazilian politician. But there's more important matters to attend to. "Such a shame," Horatio spoke, taking out the thumbdrive, "We could've been great allies..." Without much hesitation, Horatio jams the thumbdrive into an USB port, which immediately blasts him back in an electrical surge. Lights began to blink from green, to red, to blue... and finally, an eerie yellow. The YLOD program spread quickly through the constant streams of data, starting to overheat and melt the terminal from the inside, out. "Goodbye, comrade," Horatio saluted, walking out of the room unnoticed. ---------- "No..." Jack began, shocked by the sudden shift of positions, "Not again... NOT AGAIN... NOT AGAIN!!! GRAAAAAHH!!!" Old angers turn to old ways, as Jack furiously slams his palms into the war-torn ground. An enormous EMP pulse raced through the city's streets and buildings, wiping out and destroying any electronic device caught in the shockwave. The Helghast soldiers immediately went on high alert, readying their weapons and frantically searching about. Not through yet, the infuriated businessman seized a thumbdrive from his pocket, and also slams that into the ground. As though the armies of the dead were springing up before him, legions of eerie-looking Spartans, Cogs, Locust, Covenant and Agents digitally spawn from the ground, sporting jet black armours and staring with intense, red eyes. Jack's eye pulsed green, but then swiftly turned to red, his anger smoldering at his very seems. Jack finally seizes his black Wiimote weapon from his side, with beams shooting out from both sides. "FORWARD!!!" | "I'm going to get rid of this Microsoft base - I'm officially the new commander for the time being, so I've got a lot to do." Zim exits out of the hallway and makes her way across the launch pad, striking down waves of soldiers with Ragnarok's help as she heads towards the main building. As they enter the base, Zim pulls out a radio communicator to contact one of the other SONY bases. She switches the power to 'On', but it doesn't respond...A light on the side of the device flashes yellow. "No...No...!" Zim tries to turn on her other radio communicator, but it responds with a yellow light as well. She grabs Ragnarok by the collar and shakes him. "DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?!" Ragnarok looks confused. "Er...You need a replacement radio?" "No, you idiot! It's the YLOD! Someone from Nintendo or Microsoft must have infected our main data terminal with it! And if Jack is the MS commander, and he was physically affected by the RROD when it was infecting their systems, then that means..." Zim drops Ragnarok, wide-eyed.
