LittleBigPlanet 2 Delay

Archive: 5 posts

Like many of us Sack Folk know that the highly anticipated title from media molecule has been delayed to January 18. When MM anounced why they deceided to delay the game they said something about developing the game more so they can give us Sack Folk a better experience. Well thats a resonable explanation. However a few days later they revealed why they really delayed the game. I didnt really quiet understand it, they said something about giving a better experience to those whithout Internet connection. Like some of us know in LBP 1 if you have no Internet in littleBigPlanet all you really have to play is the story mode and the moon and thats it. MM also said they wanted to run the game whithout adding in updates each time to make the game better, I kinda understood that, but my question is, how can MM give people without Internet connection a better LBP2 Experience? Also by saying they do not want to add in updates, are they explaining that the game is gonna be absolutley perfect when it comes out? Sorry for my spelling. Have a good day.

Stay Creative.

Because if they released the game on the 16th it would be really really buggy. They can just update it to get rid of the bugs but if you don't have an internet connection you're stuck with the release version. No they'll never make it perfect with no bugs at all, but they can get rid of as many as they can before release so people without an internet connection aren't drowning in game breaking glitches all the time.2010-11-14 21:18:00

As far as I'm concerned, the whole internet excuse thing officially stated a few days later is what is referred to as a "white lie". I never really bought it, especially knowing just how buggy the game actually is. Personally, I think they panicked and went the route that politicians take. Cover up, cover up, cover up.2010-11-18 03:13:00

I'm not sure if this is in the right section for this to be honest, but Doopz has pretty much got it. If you don't have an iternet connection, you'll be stuck with how it was on release date, which, or so I've heard, is very buggy still.

Having said that, LBP with no Internet connection ever would be pretty boring. I normally turn the Wii on if PSN is down or something's up with LBP.

Not at all, I didn't have internet conection at all when I first had the PS3, Heck, it was still a few month only after I got LBP that I pushed for a router to be able to play online, and I still found LBP pretty fun.

Also, keep in mind I was internetless for nearly a uear too about this time last year, and trust me, even offline I still played LBP A LOT.
