Help Republishing an existing level.

How do I go back and edit a level, then republish it while maintaining my hearts, comments, etc? Do I just publish it on top of the original level? It says overwrite, but I don't want to risk it!2008-11-01 22:07:00

If you want to keep the original then publish another elsewhere and name it
xxx remix or xxx edited or something. I dont think you can combine plays and hearts.

Well after reading SuperYuper's depressing comment, I dragged my feet to the PS3 and overwrote my level. To my surprise, it kept all my hearts and comments, but DID update my level!! Perhaps this was a recent change?

Cheers

I never thought it would reset anything because it didn't in the beta but from the sounds of it maybe people thought it would, the people over at MM realize that the levels are a work in progress and know that they will be fixed here and there, so they decided not to have it reset everything...i have done this bunches of times already
