Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (spoilers)

Archive: 3 posts

Has anyone played through this?

BIG, huge, massive spoilers about the end...
WTH!
Some of it was so unbelievable, it made it too unpredictable!
I kind of loved and hated the end because of that.
I was rather unfair to player to use completely off the wall backwards unknown knowledge, like all that stuff about don paolo having a thing for Clair, which was the reason he was Layton's rival, etc,
First Layton was like.."it's not really the future" and then talked about Dimetri before Big Luke?! wth. Surely you would talk to the fake Luke first?
And then it's revealed that the fake london is really underground?! What the? That's a little convenient don't you think?
And so fake Luke spent all his money on this very elaborate fake London to make the huge mech? How about investing in an atom bomb or something? Would be much simpler.
Suddenly don paolo is like..."dude! I totally pimped out your ride!" And there's a secret save-your-life button, but I'll reveal that later in a flashback.
And then it turns into a plane!? lol!
Also nothing happens to the prime minister after he killed all the people in that apartment block?
And then Claire really did time travel into the future!? 10 years into the present?! *mind blown*
But then she dies, and Layton gets expressive with those 2 dots and a line he calls his face.
And then! Luke is leaving?! Where, why?

In summary, a little bit unbelievable, but I was willing to accept it because it was kinda awesome at the same time.
What did anyone else think? :o
