That doesn't mean he can't have a $10,000* PS3 Dev Kit *or whatever they cost nowadays. $10,250 Although that is half what they originally cost. EDIT: Do you have a debug unit as well? Note: I don't really know if I believe you have a dev kit but a dev kit is nearly useless without a debug unit.

I wanted to use the Other OS features of the PS3 to program on it in linux but alas :/ I'd love the official PS3 dev kit, too bad it's so overpriced. Funny how XNA for PC / 360 is free. Granted, XNA is nowhere near what's available to official devs of the consoles, but at least it lets you make apps that'll run using the hardware. I only used XNA a little bit, I had actually considered just making a game and using my friend's Xbox to distribute it lol

It's better to sell a low priced dev kit and take a higher cut per sale, IMO.
