Are you able to get in safe mode? It would probably help to do a Google search for the name of the program, as you're probably not the only one. I'd help you there, but you've opted to ask for help by saying: it is called antivirus action, or something like that I've been attacked by a fake anti-virus program in the past called Antivirus Soft (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-soft), which looked like this: http://www.bleepstatic.com/swr-guides/a/antivirus-soft/antivirus-soft.jpg It's completely fake, and in the end I had to completely wipe my system. Thankfully, I was able to back up all my important files prior to the wipe. Cheers, and best of luck. ![]() | 2010-11-14 00:45:00 Author: comphermc ![]() Posts: 5338 |
ZOMG! ITS THE SAME PROGRAM! ( or EXTREMELY similar, i mean, they have the same symbol almost and everything. ) and yeah, it is antivirus action... | 2010-11-14 00:50:00 Author: flamesterart ![]() Posts: 585 |
Here ya go, then... (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=antivirus+action) It's a nasty one, it seems. | 2010-11-14 01:13:00 Author: comphermc ![]() Posts: 5338 |
I has this quite afew months back... Took me almost an entire day to get rid of it! Are you able to get in safe mode? It's completely fake, and in the end I had to completely wipe my system. Thankfully, I was able to back up all my important files prior to the wipe. Cheers, and best of luck. ![]() I never had to wipe my HDD? All I can really remember is one codeword that popped up every so often?: Onefox, or something like that? If it pops-up for you, tell me, & I may beable to find you the guide that saved me ![]() | 2010-11-14 19:54:00 Author: Nurolight ![]() Posts: 918 |
hey flame, dot forget to also change the antivirus you have at the moment, whats the point of deleting it if your antivirus cant hold it? It will probably come back if you don't change your antivirus!!!! | 2010-11-14 20:00:00 Author: Ragnarok ![]() Posts: 898 |
One possible solution is to revert your system to an earlier state. The option is somewhere within the Control Panel. | 2010-11-14 20:05:00 Author: Astrosimi ![]() Posts: 2046 |
Uh... i wasn't changing my antiviral system. i have one that works fine now, and the guy who i got it from is a MAJOR smart dude when it comes to computers, and he said it was the best, this one, was a rogue, designed to take money, and keep you from doing anything, as some might have noticed, i was not on at all yesterday, because of that dumb virus. I was working on an idea to delete that STUPID virus. and i came up with the plan that actually worked. I had made my brother a profile awhile back, he doesn't use it much anymore, so, i decided to move my IMPORTANT files to his profile via flash drive. once i got everything onto the flash drives, i logged off and then logged on to the other profile, and then deleted my original profile, along with some files that were to big to fit on the flash drives. | 2010-11-16 00:23:00 Author: flamesterart ![]() Posts: 585 |

Then how did you got that virus? you must be more careful when browsing, also, deleting your original profile may not be a fix at all, what if the file is within the core system files? | 2010-11-16 04:22:00 Author: Ragnarok ![]() Posts: 898 |
It is gone, it isn't annoying me, and so, i do believe i deleted the files. plus, on this website that has a bunch of information about computers and stuff, i found a tutorial on how to get rid of the virus, you had to delete it's file, but i couldn't find it, so, i moved the important stuff to my other profile, and then delted teh old one. ( along with half of the stuff on my memory banks ![]() Edit* my awesome security system has a thing that checks the owner and information about a website on the links and stuff just by hovering the mouse over it, and i know the REAL name of the person who owns this website ![]() | 2010-11-16 12:47:00 Author: flamesterart ![]() Posts: 585 |
Yeah I got that too a few months ago. The only thing you can really do is wipe your system (system restore) other than losing all your mmo's, documents, music, personal files and *ehem* unmentionables you'll be good as new....so many unmentionables lost, such a watse T.T | 2010-11-16 15:18:00 Author: Bradlee ![]() Posts: 96 |

Ok, i know i shouldn't, but i guess i might as well say this, since i already mentioned it. The name it says is Brian Hubert. other than that. yeah. Oh, and, I am fifteen, i don't have "unmentionables" cause my parents would find it. Even if i looked at that stuff. which i don't, cause i am too busy posting here or playing halo, or playing lbp. ![]() | 2010-11-16 22:23:00 Author: flamesterart ![]() Posts: 585 |
