Apocalyptic Darkness

The sky has been overtaken by an evil dark cloud. The geometry is disfigured and distorted. All common sense has disappeared. The world is lonely, and yet you are searching. You do not know what you are searching for, but you refuse to give up. For maybe...just maybe...hope still lies ahead.
Finally managed to get this stage done! This is my 5th level, which I believe is my best one yet. It is storyline based, so there WILL be reading. However, it's not too much. The story is a part of the stage, so you should definitely read it. It is best with 1 player, but you could beat it with 4.

It's relly good m8!
Good visuals, Solid/ deep story, with a nice ending.

I like the style too, quite unique.

I can't give a full on review atm, but I will later.
Tho I did give it 5stars + heart.
Great job dude, really reccomend others to try it out, you don't get too many of this kind of story levels on LBP1 anymore.

-Box platforming in front of the gas
-Very strong narrative, strong story to the level
-Tree at the end was well decorated

Improvements:
-Camera angle is a bit low in beginning, but just an opinion
-Ooooooooo that was kinda cheap, I'm referring to spikes near beginning kinda (First time couldn't see b/c cam was low in its angle and second time I slid back down for some reason...
-Hard to see where to go at some parts, minimal lighting

Overall great level, the story was wonderfully done. :star::star::star::star: and <3

Could you be more specific on the parts that lacked lighting? I made every effort to be sure that the player could see where to go, as the level is a dark one.
What do you mean by, "the camera angle is a bit low"?

Thanks for the feedback! With the triangles, it's a matter of timing: Get the first one right, and you can get the others. If enough people find it too frustrating, then I'll change it though.

Feeback

Positives:
+Dialogue was pretty good, brought out the feel of the level
+Story of the level was really good and how you used alot of dialogue to keep it going.
+Platforming was original and simple nothing to wild or crazy

Negatives:
-The layers management in the beginning could of been doing only using one layer, having 3 layers with nothing going on can make it look really empty like.

Overall the level was very good to me::star::star::star::star:

This level had a good story, and that was it's main advantage. The platforming was simple and fun, albeit slightly unoriginal. Layer usage is definitely an area you could work on, as parts of the level were three layer, which really didn't fit. I use extreme caution with three layer objects, as they make levels feel empty and unprofessional. Just use minimal layers. I had one small qualm with the story, and that was that it seemed to restate the same thing, why should I be trying to save a place so evil? I also wanted a bit more backstory. Also, the constant gas noise got sort of annoying.

Anywho, good level.
