This is a nice, moody level. Really love the lighting in this one. Especially where you see the crystals. You have some nice jump pad tech too. The look like they dont move at all. Well thought out layer usage and material selection. Nice level that shows your growth over your past few levels. 5 stars and <3ed2010-11-13 05:16:00

It's a fun, good looking level with some fun gameplay. The lighting was superb, the different colors really went well with the theme of the level. The puzzles were fun, the bubble chains tough but rewarding, and the mini-secrets were nice too. However, I did ncounter one bug. On the first puzzle with the crates, it's possible to jump high enough and grab the first crate without dragging the other one over. Maybe just put it up a bit?

Overall a fun level, 4 stars and a <3

For the F4F, would you mind doing the level in my sig? Thanks!

Very good level.

Lighting is obviously your strong suit. The lighting was beautiful throughout the whole thing. Parts of the level gave me minor lag, and that should be addressed. Lag is the worst thing that can happen to a level. Gameplay wise, nothing interesting was going on. It was pretty much jumping, and about halfway through the level you added some bouncepads. In the next in the series, work on creating interesting gameplay. The story also was very limited. The intro had me set up for an epic story, but then pretty much nothing else happened.

This is a great level with EXCELLENT visuals. It isn't too difficult (which is a good thing in my book). It kept my interest all the way through. You have truly captured the dark cavern feel very well with an excellent combination of music, lighting, materials and camera angels. My only thought would be to make more of a feature of the little bad guys. Maybe either make them bigger or have 2 or 3 of them appear at once. Great job. Well done.2010-11-15 08:29:00

Hi, just played your level and I have to say it was beautifully made. The combination of the lighting, crystals and great layer usage makes this a great environment to play in and kept a really good mood throughout the level. I thought the jump pads were really well done, they worked really well considering they barely even move! Haha! This level gets a :star::star::star::star::star: from me!

F4F, could you let me know what you think of my new minigame level? Thanks

As everyone has already said; this has nice lighting/colours. Although everything was so dark that I never really had any idea where I was going.. I just kept moving and eventually ended up somewhere else. It does seem to need more checkpoints, a few more creature-enemies, and some camera angles that show where you're supposed to be heading (or what you're supposed to be doing.) ..That is if you're looking to tweak it at all.2010-11-16 07:46:00

F4F
Bmoney,
FANTASTIC level. Your style is awesome and like everyone mentioned, the mixture of lights and colors were top notch material. You've also created such an expanse open cavernous feel to it that when you come to a part where its a much smaller room, you have a hint of that claustrophobic feel. I thought it was fairly bland when I was first travelling through except for the incredible visuals, but then you reach the end where you have to follow the flames, thats what pushed it to five stars from me.

Only bit is the first portion where you need to pull the crate over and jump up to grab the other....yeah, I think its just a teeny bit too high now (I know it was mentioned it wasnt high enough). It took me a good bit to pull it down.

Great Job!

Great atmosphere in this level. Great use of light. The only suggestion I would have, though, is perhaps adding a few extra candles at the end; I found it confusing at times to find my way there.2010-11-19 20:01:00

Really great level that deserves a bit more attention. You did a fantastic job using lights to create a mysterious atmosphere that wants to be explored; good thing you had hidden points all over the level as my exploration needs were met and rewarded. The platforming, although basic, was fun. My favorite parts of the level were the large room at the beginning with water, the fast paced platforming that used glass platforms, the room that changes when you exit and enter, and the end section where you must follow the flames. I would've liked to see more of the fast paced platforming that I mentioned earlier. Overall fantastic level, I know you poured hours upon hours into creating it and it really shows.2010-11-20 15:59:00
