i was thinking about how mm said they'd be making more levels to sell but since they'll be making them with the LBP create mode couldn't someone just remake the levels and publish them online so everyone could get them free.

Yes they could... however, I think sony would delete those levels from their server. EDIT: Media mollecule said that they will be adding some tools and gameplay elements. Maybe they will use this in their own levels before they give those tools to other players. In this way people would buy the downloadable content and wouldn't be able to recreate them right away.

I imagine to get round this some people may 'remix' levels so that they are almost the same as the Mm ones, or build levels in similar structure. Sounds devious but then technically its the people's own work.

Very good point. But the story levels have had so much effort put into them, I doubt someone could be bothered to recreate new levels made by MM. Plus, as FlowersInHisHair said, they deserve more money.

As long as NONE of it would be going to Sony, I'd be happy to cough up. I'm afraid you'll have to starve your vendetta against Sony if you want DLC, because it's almost an absolute certainty that some of it will go to Sony.

Like none of it will go to Sony. I hate having to pay for DLC. I know Mm might deserve it, but I think that paying $60 for the game should get me everything that applies to it. Oh well, I can live w/o the +costumes and levels.

I haven't seen any levels that are as complex as some of the later stroy mode levels. It would take some serious skill and not that many people are up to it. You could always start with one of the templates but it would never be the same.
