I have two ideas that I can't wait to do! The first is under construction - I've been working on it for a couple of hours and it's not far off coming out of the concept stage! Would the infinite lives tutorial level that came in the Creator pack 1 by Media Molecule be a good example? That made dying fun! Unfortunately that isn't a contraption, more of a booby trapped level

My creation skills arent up to par with someone like him so I dont think there is any point in entering... But... the chance to meet MM, thats something entirely different XD might as well give it a shot.

I am going to try this. and i think i have a small chance. cause, if there is one think i know how to do, it's kill a sackboy. mine is going to be crazy. i wish i could share my idea with you, but then, i'd have to kill LOTS of people, so it wouldn't get leaked. so, you'll just have to wait an see.... ( for, about.... a week and two days, ( weekend after this one. ) Finally they came up with another one of these things. i have been waiting for it. cause i really wanted to enter, but about the time i got online with lbp, the contests stopped... EDIT* I just realized.... it says the contest is only for those who live in europe ( and that area ) i live in the US, which means.... Anyone can enter, only thsoe from EU can become finalists and win the prize. But we'll still be doign a More We Liked video to show other entries we liked, so your level could still end up on that! @>er - you can make it into a survival if you want but we only judge the contraption, not the gameplay. @Doopz - yes, but instead of the level killing you it'd be a contraption.

Because prizes are involved, the rules have to be that it's only open to Europe. If there was a way to include US and everywhere else, we certainly would do. We aren't 'giving Americans a contest to enter', we're giving Europeans a contest to enter but still allowing everyone else to at least take part and join in the fun. If you want to enter an official contest for America, then you'll have to wait until SCEA decide to do something I'm afraid.

You guys forgot that Media Mokecule gives out crowns to people who have made "outstanding levels", so winning a crown is always available to everyone. And in theory, If you make an outstanding Contraption Challenge level, you can win a crown for that.

I put about 3 or 4 hours into a level today. It's coming along nicely. I doubt it's a contest winner, due to it being... Not particularly out of the box, but I'm more interested in just talking to other entrants and whatnot for shiggles, anyways. As for this being EU only, come on, Americans! You guys get everything! It's actually kind of annoying to see comments about how America gets left out, when this simply isn't the case for the vast majority of events, releases and special features. If you want to swap SCE devisions, I'm certain all the Europeans would gladly agree.

Oh poop, my TV doesn't work anymore and I was getting so close to finishing off the boss T-T Well good luck to anyone and everyone that enters the competition. I am still ticked about my TV not working and having no other TV in the house that works with my PS3 Dx I also couldn't be a finalist either since I have to be 18 or over (is 17). I didn't have high hopes anyway since there is loads of great Irish creators out there, I so I didn't really stand a chance anyway XD
