More than likely the best you will get is a piece of copper or if your lucky, a dull piece of quartz. It would be even more rare if you found something of any substance and quality to a first time publisher with no pre-existing levels. Now lets add one more, how about being the 1st to play the new level AND it's the only level the creator has ever made (I think I just popped EvilMuffinz LBP fruit cup).... I feel so lucky I should run out and by a lotto ticket STATISTICS: As of 11/09/2010 Published Levels - 1 Created - 2 Hours Ago Last Update - 2 Hours Ago # of Plays - 2 <3 - 0 Current Rating - :star::star::star: Oddly enough, the two plays I believe came from me as I ran through it once and once again to get those 1080P HD pixilated bundle of joy pictures to share with you all. Though, im sure the number of plays will certainly increase. The level begins outside with no story or narrative. You have one way to travel and that brings you upon a very unique piece that apparently is suppose to be the inner workings of a grand clock tower. When you arrive your automatically tossed into its platforming as you make leaps and strides to climb higher into the tower. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1124/5163105399_315a30796e.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163105399/) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163105399/) The Graphical presentation is done extremely well for a first time creator. Hardly any materials were used and the theme created was consistent through out with nothing that had you wondering why it was added. The gears were well placed and EvilMuffinz also paid attention to the detail outside the clock tower on the moments the camera shifted to a new angle giving a glimpse outside. There was also a good contrast with the usage of the electrical hazard. Its a shame the pictures don't show the brilliant electric blue against the wallpaper texture. Clockwork Platform Preview also has made excellent use of the three layers MM blessed us with. Giving great depth to the clock and adding a spectacular amount to its game play. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1432/5163105401_8791b04d52.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163105401/) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163105401/) Sounds and Music were almost absent in the level with the exception of standard sounds of the motor bolt or winch moving. The key is 'almost', but it still falls extremely short of what the level should have. Luckily, this aspect of the level can be overlooked quite easily as you traverse higher into the tower. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4065/5163107099_c7d39dedfb.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163107099/) (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163107099/) Game Play was fun and entertaining. While the level seemed familiar in its platforming all the way through, it had just enough variety to keep you going. You wanted to see what was next in the tower and that is something I don't feel often with LBP community levels. Jumping within the three layers was a welcoming site for a first time level. There were no hiccups jumping to and from the layers and typically a level where you traverse vertically, your bound to run into a bug or two. Oddly enough, this first timer got it down pat. 'Timing' (get it?) was a big portion of the level when you make your jumps and the difficulty was never out of reach of the player. If anything, you can make it through the level with little to no problems. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4034/5163105397_c42d5cf8a3.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163105397/) [url=http://www.flickr.com/people/55176054@N05/] (http://www.flickr.com/photos/55176054@N05/5163105397/) Final Thoughts: All and all, this was a level that was done very well. Camera angles were done cleverly and added a little more depth to the game. I don't believe there are any major downfalls here except if the creator stops the creativity and leaves the LBP community. It's clear EvilMuffinz has enormous potential and it would be a shame to stop after only one level. So do EvilMuffinz a favor, show him that you can still produce a level and have it recognized, even if your not the veteran creator. I rate this level a certainly well earned :star::star::star::star: Thanks for reading the review! Please let me know if these Reviews interest you.
