Rocket Sled Test Site: R.S.T.S.sascha_winter 1/4 Little Big Mile Rocket Sled Test Site. http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n539/sascha_winter/APhoto_8.jpg Hello folks, here is may attempt at a common theme, the rocket sled. I wanted to take it further than just going fast. I wanted it realistic and informative. In this level the player will be introduced to the R.S.T.S which is located in the salt flats of LBP. The basic measurements of the level and how it relates to the physics of a rocket sled will be introduced. Stats: -1/4 Little Big Mile -approx 4 secs from start to finish -measurements derived from known human elements -no pistons,chains , or emitters were used to propell rocket sled -a strict weight limit of 1 sackboy is used to guarentee exact stopping distance -reverse rockets are used to stop rocket sled in a fraction of a second Measurements: if--->avg man is 6 ft tall and, avg sack boy is 1 Large Grid Unit tall if--->there are 5280ft in 1 mile 5280ft/6ft=880 LGU so-->880LGU=1 LBM further-->880/4=220 LGU and we have 220 LGU = 1/4 LBM note...if you were wondering, taking out initial acceleration and braking times, I am estimating this bad boy does about 270 little big mph.
