Languages are a pain in the neck. I'm never gonna put it to good use, and if I go on holiday, I like to be the guy that says to the waiter "I. WOULD. LIKE. ONE *PUTS ONE FINGER UP* GLASS OF WATER *DRINKING MOTION*" at the top of his voice, making the waiter feel stupid. | 2008-10-31 23:26:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |

Only English, but am learning Spanish- only first year though, though I am halfway done it on our schedules at school. I probably would have grown up learning Italian if my PopPop and Nana taught my Mom instead of keeping it from her and my uncle in order to have their own language to converse in so my mom and uncle couldn't listen in. But my PopPop grew up learning Italian, had to learn English at School, and when he went to World War Two he came the unoffical company translator because he could easily learn new languages, so... yeah <_<. | 2008-10-31 23:45:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |

English, Arabic, can understand Spanish, but can't speak or read it... yeah... usual stuff. >_> And I'm going to be the close-minded one to say that once you learn one Germanic language, you become fluent in them all. =P Yay for simple-mindedness!! xD | 2008-11-01 14:41:00 Author: ScytheOfGrim Posts: 438 |

I'm fluent in English and I used to speak broken Spanish because my mom could speak fluently in Spanish. But know I forget almost all my Spanish and my best friend constantly speaks in Spanish to **** me off. But for some reason I can read french. Seriously, I translated for my family when we went to Paris. I really wanna learn Arabic or a middle eastern language. One of my friends speaks Farsi, so maybe I should learn that. | 2008-11-03 14:43:00 Author: HobocidalManiac Posts: 117 |
