Small Circles; Are They Neat?

I was just wondering this.

Does the new LBP2 engine fix the problem that we all dealt with in LBP1? A good example of what im talking about is this:

If you make a circle within a shape and then shrink it down, one of the circles 'sides' turns straight, thus not making it a complete circle, or look like one anyway.

I'd upload an image of what im talking about, but i've lost my pen drive!

One of the best parts about LBP2 is that you can zoom the camera out further. Then you can add more detail to your objects without them distorting. You can also have the player control a huge sackbot, and it'll be as though it were zoomed in, just with more detail.2010-11-07 23:31:00

One of the best parts about LBP2 is that you can zoom the camera out further. Then you can add more detail to your objects without them distorting. You can also have the player control a huge sackbot, and it'll be as though it were zoomed in, just with more detail.

That's exactly what I've been thinking of lately!

But when all's said and done, something else raises problem in this case... The depth will still stay the same, although everything's bigger and taller. You could use the 3D glitch though.

Nobody's perfect, I guess we'll just have to put up with it and not to make too tiny shapes.

Yeah I guess so... but is it really a problem? Just because the depth is scaled doesn't make it wrong. I've seen many levels now that have used really zoomed out camera angles to add more detail to their creations. Example:

Yeah, but actually, I don't think there are any huge Sackbots in this level! What I meant is that simple stairs should be made with 3 layers with a huge Sackboy, for instance. It's somewhat restricting, but not that important.

I'm pretty sure its the same as it was in LBP1...
LBP2 is not really different from LBP1... all the new graphics mostly just have to do with the new
lighting system >.> Sadly... so LBP2 don't have as many graphic upgrades we could hope
