Hiyas, all, Im Bridget!

Well, hello there to you all!

I just stumbled upon this site, after a rousing few rounds of Quick Play mode in LBP.... much hilarity there..... and I already like what I see here, so I figured I'd join up.

Hmm, well, this being an intro, I guess I should probably say a few things about myself.....

Well, firstly, despite my name and AV, no, Im not a girl, lol. Girly, maybe, but not a girl, hah. I did put up a profile pic in case anyone should care to see what I look like. Er, anyway.... Im big into gaming.... been doin this since I was like, 3.... and LBP is my new obsession. Had been waiting for this game since it's announcement, and boy was I surprised when I got to play it and found out, not only did it live up to the hype, but in my opinion, it surpassed it! I'll be playing this one ALOT.

I intend also on making quite alot of levels and things within the editor; level design and such for various games has always been a passion of mine. For example, I've gotten into rom hacking lately.... so I can do my own redesigns of old NES classics, like Metroid, which is the current one Im working on. I have a vid of that on youtube if anyone cares.

Anyway, yeah, the editor AMAZES me, and I've been having great fun with it. But I wont put any levels up till I've got one Im satisfied with.

Other than LBP, Im a big fan of shmups (like Mushihime), or fighting games.... Guilty Gear and Smash Brawl in particular. Quite obviously, I like Bridget from GG alot. And I love games with an insane difficulty level, I really do. If it's absurdly difficult, I'll play it.

I also enjoy hiking, swimming, nature, and my pets.... my dog, and my 2 huge and quite insane cats. Also into anime and cosplaying (I do a cosplay of Bridget of course). Lotsa anime cons. Lotsa travelling. Too many cameras.


....I tend to chatter and ramble alot, so feel free to tell me to pipe down or something, lol. And finally, I'm VERY impatient.

Anyway, uhhh, yeah, that's stuff about me right there, yup.


Likely this'll be my only post here tonight..... it's quite late here, and I wanna have a bit more gaming time before bed..... but I'll pop on and join in alot more tomorrow night.

I like showing this off to people and getting feedback; Im taking this redesign very seriously. Mostly a redo of the game areas..... not gonna change graphics at all, hah, Im a terrible artist. This is made to be really hard..... You wouldnt believe the things that are just WRONG with that game's engine. I tend to yell alot when Im working on this.

And Im already liking this place, heh. Seems fun. Just got offa LBP, myself.... played through the most excellent Azure Palace. I think that was the name. Found it randomly, and loved it.

Well, I would,

But you see......

.....that'd require effort

And probably more screaming at the computer, stupid Vista interferes with the video making.

Oh yes, I love nature.

Just as long as nature isnt trying to bite or sting me, and as long as it's not all rainy or snowy or...... various other things.

As long as it follows my specifications, I like it very much

Yes, so was I. For about 3 seconds. Then I was just very pleased about it. Lol.

I tend to quite like that type of character, haha.


.....I was gonna say something else here but in the middle of typing I forgot what it was.

I do that. Often. I seem to exist in a perpetually bewildered state as a result.

....just adds to my general bizarrity, dont it? Ah well, "normal" isnt any fun anyway.


And Stix489, I'll take that as a good compliment indeed I love RPGs as long as they arent too easy. And we really just dont GET as many "fairytale" styled ones these days as we used to, do we? No, nowadays everything has gotta be either realistic or futuristic, or just all emo and stuff. I always preferred the swords & sorcery type ones. Particularly if Im given control of a black mage who can defeat a normal enemy like a mad pig or something by dropping the moon on them.		2008-11-01 05:26:00
