Inactive Scoreboard

Is there a way to have a scoreboard in your level but have the player pass right through it? Im making a continuation of my other lever directly where it leaves off, that includes the scoreboard. Only if you have sometype of fake scoreboard or some kind, a sack made score board but its difficult to do what you are asking. What you can do is make a sack made score board or find one around the community. But let me get it stright. On your next level do you want the player to come out around where the score board is but not be effected by it and have the player just move on and play? I dont know if that was clear. I have never heard of an inactive scoreboard BUT You can always place a scoreboard then have it impossible to get to by putting a really thin layer of DM around it and then putting a start gate next to it (where the board cant be activated. | 2010-11-05 05:22:00 Author: TheAffected Posts: 626 |

Fake scoreboards are usually a perfectly acceptable subsitute, other players normally understand it's hard to re-create a scoreboard, especially the screen. I just hope it's possible in LBP2. | 2010-11-05 05:38:00 Author: booXely Posts: 654 |
But let me get it stright. On your next level do you want the player to come out around where the score board is but not be effected by it and have the player just move on and play? I dont know if that was clear. From Part 1 of my level you take an elevator up to its own room where you cross the scoreboard. I have made an exact copy of that room and locked the elevator (since nothing is below it anyways) and created a puzzle to get out. HOWEVER, when I moved it to play mode, it triggers the scoreboard and your done. Im guessing I will track one down from the community and try one of those.
