Do you own all 3 by now?

I only have a PS3 (and a PS2), but it's not fanboyism. I just can't afford (and don't see much point) in having three last-gen consoles.

I had a 360, but it RRoD'd, so I got a PS3 and haven't looked back. I've never had any desire to have a wii -- I tried it out and found the wavey wand things not up to scruff. I <3 my gamecube, though.2010-11-04 17:09:00

I personally own a PS3 (obviously) and a Wii and my dad has an Xbox 360. But I never ever ever ever play Wii or 360 unless there's some kind of emergency (e.g. My PS3 explodes).2010-11-04 17:10:00

I do currently own all systems, and its pretty nice, I share my time between the 360 and the PS3 (and use very little the Wii, but its still useful to distract my little cousins from using my other consoles), anyway, my bro uses the XBOX 360 most of the time, I only use it to play PGR4, Forza 3, Burnout Paradise, or Fable..... (the ps3 lacks racing games, I know it has Grand Turismo 5 now, but anyway, it still lacks good racing games).2010-11-04 18:17:00

I own all 3. My 360 probably has gotten more play time than my ps3 seen as I got it about 4 years prior to my ps3. But since I got ps3 I haven't really touched my 360. I also have a wii which I only played for a few days really, doesn't get used much at all.2010-11-04 19:05:00

I have all three. Bought the Xbox 360 a few months after it was released, the PS3 about a month before LBP was released, and I received the Wii as a gift about a month ago. I enjoy them all, but the Wii doesn't get as much play as the others.2010-11-04 19:23:00

I have two xbox360's, two ps3's, and one Wii. My husband and I both had 360's when we got married (mine was primarily for rockband) and we just kept them both. We only had one PS3 until LBP was released, and then we had to buy another one because my husband couldn't get anywhere near the PS3 when I was creating levels.

I think there may be four or five ps2's in my house at the moment, too. lol.		2010-11-04 19:39:00

I'm surprised people treat the Wii as if it's on par with the other two, I mean reeeeeeally? Apart from when half drunk at parties, I've never seen the point of them. I realise some people don't care about it's bad graphics and lack of features/genres, but to say it's similar to the PS3 and Xbox is blasphemy! The Wii is good for making social situations less/more awkward, but not for providing the world with awesome games. (In my opinion anyway, don't kill me Nintendo fans!)2010-11-04 20:09:00

I have my treasured PS3, the family has a Wii, both I and my brother have PSP's, the whole family each have DS' and my friends mostly have Xbox360's (and PS3's)

I used to have a Wii. It broke. But I still have a PS3, and I love it 100x more. I have nothing against the Wii. It has some good games... A few. It just gets taken advantage of by the third party developers looking to make a quick buck. Seriously, how many cheerleading games are there for Wii? Why so many?!

I think the console wars are stupid, and that the only reason they still happen is because the average person on the internet has an IQ of negative 4. Just because you don't like a particular system doesn't mean anything. Don't have to make a scene, and throw your controller at the cat.

I've only played XBox (360) once, and I played Left 4 Dead, and I don't remember it really well, but it was alright. I have reasons why I don't have an XBox, but none of them are that "it suckz no0b."

I think you should decide on which console or consoles to buy based on what exclusive games they have, what hardware they have, (The controller for example.) the cost, and what else it can do that you'd use it for.

I had a Xbox 360, then I sold it for the PS3. You all remember right? Wait... Where is Clank? Or Thee-Flash, STIX!!! Oh, Rock... Your still here, ANYWAYS.

Then I sold my PS3 back to 360 because all my friends own Xbox 360s.

So yeah, only owned 2 of the 3, but never at the same time.

Only games I'd ever get on the Wii are nostalgic games. Most Mario games, Kirby games, and omg who remembers Yoshi Story, WOW.		2010-11-05 03:37:00

Everyone Wii bashing in this thread, thank you! You'll make a great case study if I ever want to make an argument for bringing back facepalm images.

All three consoles are great for their specific audiences. Wii is good for those who like platformers, for little kids being introduced to the world of gaming, or for those who want new, risky game attempts, too expensive to take a chance on with the other consoles. 360 is great for the traditional shooter fan or for those who want the best multiplayer gaming. PS3 is a great middleman.

I personally have no interest in shooters, so I've only invested in the Wii and PS3. I have no problem with the 360, it's a great console if you're into that type of gaming, I'm just not.

Course they are. They always are. You don't even need to use sentences to make the fanbois mad, just mentioning the "wrong" console is normally enough

The Wii brought around one of the most significant changes to the gaming industry, ever. I don't have one and I don't really want one, but you've gotta give props to Nintendo for having the balls to push things forward, trying to sell videogames to demographics that do not play video games and succeeding.

The PS3 and the XBox 360 were mere incremental updates on the existing paradigms, and look where they are now, fighting each other to chase after the market that the Wii created.


I only have a PS3. If it weren't for LBP I'd probably have the other two, but I really don't see the point with LBP taking up ~97% of my gaming time.		2010-11-05 14:12:00

I own the PS3 and the Wii, and the be honest if I would've gotten the PS3 first I would've just stuck with that.

I didn't get the Xbox since I have a really powerful desktop computer and I figure the 360 is just a dedicated DirectX 9.5-ish Box. Most of the good Xbox games I like come out for PC anyway so it didn't make sense to me to get it, whereas PS3 exclusives are pretty... exclusive.		2010-11-05 14:29:00

I am not a fanboy or anything, I just happen to own the PS3, PSP, PS2 and PS1...
Just to clarify, I have no problems with the other consoles, I actually wanted a wii before I bought the PS3 (before I knew about LBP, lol)

Fanboys and this console war just make me mad, I remember that I was about to rage when I saw comments on LBP videos that it's better that halo because of some reviews...
Yeah well, even though LBP is awesome, you can't compare a shooter to LBP. Faboys tend to be stupid and extremely ignorant. Of course everyone can compare the wii and ps3 and say that the wii is waaaaay better because the controller is unique and the box the console comes in is way cooler... That video didn't mention games or anything...

Okay maybe I said enough, my point just being that I hate fanboys.

If I had enough spare money I would seriously buy a wii just for the mario games, those look awesome.
