Project Mega Man (tentative title)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This project is meant to be a larger scale operation if I can find LBPC members interested in participating in a larger, more ambitious project. There are people who are way better than I am with many aspects of creation - music and visuals especially. I plan on writing a detailed plan & project layout for me & everyone else to see what needs to be done and how far the progress for each part is.

Below you can find my ideas about level / boss themes and how the weapons available would function.

Description

An original LittleBigPlanet 2 shooter mimicking the theme of Mega Man.

Similarities to Mega Man:
Multiple weapon choices
Health bar
Weapon ammo bar
Level formula: platforming + boss fight
Shooting limitations - No free aiming, just left & right (possible exceptions for special weapons)


Differences:
LBP Physics.
Possibility of using LBP powerups.
Unique enemies
Unique bosses
Unique weapons
Original music

Weapon System

Weapon Selection System - Done!

Firing Mechanisms - Currently 3 out of 9 made


Hit Points, Ammo & Healing - System in place, healing orbs & energy tanks not made. Dying, respawning & game over works.




Enemies & AI

Enemies - Current total: 3 enemies

Drops - Drop system not in place



Bosses - Current total: 1 boss (Flame Wolf)

Visual Design - All 8 boss sackbots have been made!

Level Icons - Using Screenshots of Bosses on holograms

Weapon Icons - No icons made yet.


Weapon Particles & Effects - Current total: 3 weapons complete (basic, fire, water)




Audio

Music - aer0blue is awesome

Sound Effects - Death sound missing, need to work on some other sounds
