Hayal D?nyasiindie_r3cords
The great Mushaboom, protector of this mystical world, has a terrible ill, and its your duty to save him and the entire world of Hayal Dunyasi.
Explore a beautiful world, dance with colorfull mushrooms, and beat the dark wind before it finishes with everything we know.
Finally! Oh, hello there people of LBPC. I'm an old member of this comunity, but I haven' posted anything in a looong time, and I know that there are a lot of new guys over here, so although some of you already know me, nice to meet you
To make this level, I worked a lot of time (like 6 or 7 months), and I learn a lot of things since my last level (A curious Sack).
I worked really hard to get a nice looking visuals, and Hayal D?nyasi has a darky but colorfull style. But also it has some advanced logics (there's a memory device in somewhere, and it took me a lot to figure how to do it)
Hayal D?nyasi means "The world of dreams" in turkish, and the great Mushaboom has its name because of a funny name's song by Feist. I heard that name and I loved it hehe.
Sorry for not showing you pictures, but I don't have a proper camera, so if anybody of you could take some pics for me, I'll be really gratefull.
Finally, I'll do F4F to everybody, just let me know in which level you want feedback.
Enjoy and thanks for playing.

I just finished playing it. Magnificent work!

It was a bit confusing at some points, but I finished.

The scenery in the Mushaboom's stomach was so vivid. I loved how the platforming wasn't straight forward. I'll leave more feedback tomorrow! I can't type much on my phone.

This level was great!
There are some confusing parts, that may not let people progress through the level.
I mean, I finished it, but it took some time.

Like in the beginning, the alternating mushroom grabbing, it was pretty confusing.
But I liked how it worked, and what the purpose for it was.

I also got stuck trying to enter the cave, right after the mushroom grabbing in the beginning.
That pink arrow, pointing out the pathway to the cave, was blocking my view that you can actually jump down on the other layer.
Maybe you should move the arrow a little?

The dancing mushrooms was genius!
The mechanics worked perfectly.

The visuals in the Mushaboom's stomach was excellent.
It reminded me of Zen and Bird of Paradise clashed together.

The platforming on the thorns were a bit offputting, but I liked how you did it.
The first time I pulled the winch down, the last petal didn't actually emit.
I'm not sure how it happened, but I think the actual winch blocked it from emitting.

I retried, and I finally finished your level.
I really can't wait for the 2nd installment

It happened to me in the mushaboom stomach. I grabbed the wench and three pink petals were emitted, I don't know where to go from there. I jumped up on the petals and thorns. At the top, I just can't jump onto anything. I've tried jumping to the right and left but can't get onto anything.2010-11-04 18:25:00

That happened to me on my first play. I'm thinking the winch blocked the 4th petal from emitting, if that's possible. I restarted, and it emitted

Nice to meet you too!
I've never played a level by you, I'll give this a play and some feedback in a few hours. Also, instead of giving me feedback back, could you instead show me the memory logic? That sounds really awesome. If you will, I could teach myself if you just place a copyable level of it.
EDIT: feedback
OK, I had a great time playing this level, and thought it was very well done. However, some of the parts were kind of awkward and more dificult than they needed to be. At least twice in the level I didn't know where to go or do, such as I didn't know to actually platform mover to the flower with the dancing mushrooms, and the emitted pink thorns were hard to maveuver, and the thorns in the beginning of the stomach were pretty difficult to get past too. There was also a lack of checkpoints in some parts, and it got annoying everytime I'd die on an awkward part to keep going throught other hard parts I'd already beaten. Here is a rating system:
Platforming: besides the awkward parts above, it was very fun! I've never seen anything like the dancing mushrooms and wind ridding shrooms in the beginning! 17/20
Graphics: Incredible! I haven't seen anything like the stomach since Zen and as much vibrant color since Bird of Paradise! 20/20!
Corner editing: The shrooms, flowers, and stomach were all increbible! Great job with them! However, the rest of the scenery could have been a bit better, such as the platforming to flower and a few other parts. 18/20
Gameplay/logic: I think that the logic you used worked well and was very unique, and I saw no lag whatsoever during parts that required it. Everything that moved worked great, and nothing at all broke! 20/20
Creativity: This level is entirely unique, I have never seen a story quite like this. 20/20
Total: 95/100
I can't wait for the sequel! If you can just remember to fix up the awkward platforming, explain parts and use camera angles a little more, but maintain everything else, I'm sure the sequel will be perfect in every way! Great job!

Yeah, that's the problem, when you grab the switch, if you swing across to land on the flower, then your body blocks the emitter and it doesn't work. I'm on school now and writting on a fancy IPod, but I'll try to fix this and other things tonight

Okay. This is kind of embarrassing... I could only get one picture to come out. My camera decided not to cooperate. Use it if you want...

http://i52.tinypic.com/2vjaelc.jpg

So about the level. Interesting. The mushroom idea at the beginning was a bit frustrating because I kept accidentaly switching layers and die-ing. And I couldn't even finish the level because I couldn't switch layers into the cave where the arrow is. So... maybe move the arrow a bit and republish...? I'm curious to see how this levels pans out!

Alright, I've readed all your comments and I fixed some things in a new version:
-The minigame at the beggining is faster than before, is easier to dissapear de dark wind.
-I've re-corner edited some platforms where the pink tree is, and I quit those narrows, so I think it's easier to move your sackperson around this place.
-I've add a small branch at the end, so you can't swing the grabbable switch and the petal gets emited as it must do.
Also, I've corner edited other sections in the level, changed a few camera angles, added more bubble points in someparts and and a new checkpoint inside Mushaboom, and another small changes that make the level works better .
So as you can see I've fixed and added pretty much things, and I think that it is much easier to complete my level, so if you can give it another try and tell me what do you think.
Any other issues you found just let me know me and I'll be pleased to fix it

What's up indie_r3cords!
It's been awhile since you made a new level. With this level made, you improved so much! Say, I haven't asked you before, but I mine as well ask. You know how your psn is indie_r3cord? Well, do you listen to indie music? Just asking, back on topic. I have to say, you are an amazing creator, seeing as there is a continuation of this level, it'll be more unique. So let us move on to feedback bud.

Well, once I saw this title, Zen popped up in my head. Mainly because I don't know what is "Hayal Dunyasi". Funny though because this level reminds me of Zen. Others have said Zen and Bird of Paradise mixed, and now that I think about it, it's true. Anyway, I love the introductive title. The font is very luminous and the shade helps produce a brilliant pucture. The stickering on the background introduction was Awesome as well. Once the next scene played, I was lost. It was very difficult to see at all, but I made it through. I'm not sure how you pulled off the first puzzle, but I must say it's something new that I have never seen done before. The clouds were well corner edited, and the black outline shined off a bold effect. The tree, those colors are something I recall only seeing once, not on LBP, but in life. It was remarkable in every way.

I enjoyed the night sky bacjground and the Moon. Shading is one of the most luminous things I enjoy most in this level. The mushrooms were all different and dark like. The golden streams and falls were so incredible. The items were worth collecting, more used as a gift rather than an item. The hidden switch in the waterfall was smart, I was tad lost, but made my way through. The room with the third puzzle is just Fantastic! The scenery, the flowers, the corner editing, the stickerwork... All in one room combined brings a real good feeling to adore upon. The puzzle was just as great, not to hard, yet so interesting. I liked the effect of the water filling in the corridor.

The room with the dancing mushrooms, this is just so absolute. The tone felt so shallow, yet so happy with the noise of the mushrooms. You even implemented a cave with easy platforming. This helps to bring some fun into the level rather than doing puzzles only. The terrain and greenery is so special and eye-candy. Each formation was just a jaw dropper. Especially seeing the trees with vivid coloration that just stands out. The beat the mushrooms play are catchy and well implement. Then the oh, mighty flower is just a gazer. :O Right when you think things couldn't get better. They just got better. This is when this level began to remind me of Zen.

Everything looked like you we4e walking on a very thin layer, but this area is an illusion because it consist of all. The flowers, the prickling vines, the thorns, the petals, all in a very bright and dark color. This is worth gazing upon all day. Platforming and obstacles are just as benefitial. Everything is bold and the ending is just as crazy. Everything feels dark with the shattered heart, and fog, and dynamic vines. It makes you want to play the next level badly. I had no errors or glitches occur during my playthrough. You have such a fantastic level done. I'll go on and give you your rating deserved.

Length: 5/5 (This level lasted so long and the puzzles were somewhat confusing.)
Material Usage: 5/5 (The colors, the materials, the outlines, just remarkable.)
Sticker Work 5/5 (Every detail made this gamplay unique and stand out.)
Corner Editing: 5/5 (You sure know how to use the corner editor.)
Terrain/Mechanics: 5/5 (The puzzles were very cool and hard to imagine the logic... Great job.)
Story: 5/5 (Story is pretty plain, but once inside the flower, everything begins great.)

Total: 30/30 Perfect Score!!

The colors were all so vivid. This level stands out compared to many levels.
Thus, I gave you 5 stars :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart. <3

Can't wait for your next level,
-Spark

I just played an updated version of the game, and everything that could of been better before the update is now perfect, great job! No doubt that this will become a psp classic. Here is an updated score:
Platforming: All the issues with awkward/difficult platforming were fixed, and I could now fully realize how great a job you did with this! 20/20
Graphics/scenery: once again you did incredible! 20/20
Corner editing: Just forget what I said in that last feedback, playing it the second time really helped me realize how great a job you did! 20/20
Gameplay/ logic: Once again, everything was smooth, and the logic was very unique and greatly enhanced the gameplay! 20/20
Story/Creativity: Once agian this was a very unique level with a great story. Hardly anything is remotely like it. 20/20
total:100/100. Great Job!

Hey Buddy!!

Wow, this level is so good!! I have always liked your levels. They are always so different from other levels.

This is your best work yet. amazing from start to finish. Mind blowing is the only way to describe the gorgeous scenery you created. The level designs were truly a work of art.

The opening puzzle took me a minute, because I couldn't see Sackboy to good, but as soon as I wrapped my mind around what I needed to do, it was a great feeling. I don't care to much for puzzles. I will be honest. I like bubble chains and platforming. I think it is because puzzles in lbp are either to easy or to hard. You managed to get that perfect medium, and that is not easy.

The other puzzles were great too. The water puzzle was very cool. I liked the platforming sequence in that section very much. The music puzzle was a blast!! I loved how you had to go through all the vines and tunnels to come out the flower and then play the music on the mushrooms. Awesome!! Hahahaha, your puzzles were extra cool because they made me feel smart when I solved them. And the platforming was very fun. And those designs were gorgeous. The flowers and mushrooms, everything looked great.

What a wonderful piece of art you created. You should be so very proud of this!!

Great job my friend!

Hearted of course! <3

Thanks for your nice coments guys
@ricky
Unfortunately, the whole system is too big to capture it or something :/
But while making my level, I also created another small levels that were for testing things and stuff, and one of them has a prototype of this system, I published it so you can copy it and give you an idea on how it works, as I've said, this was just the prototype of the device that is used in the dancing mushrooms part. It is called "Prototype ricky3", and it's copyable
Thanks for such a long review and for those stars!

@spark
Answering to your question, yes, I love indie music. Not only indie rock, because there are lots of indie artist and bands that I like to hear. These last says (or weeks...or months ) I've been listening to Folk. There are such great voices over there and some women just melt my heart with their so sweet voice .
Also, thanks for taking time to play my level and write feedback, I'll leave coments on your halloween level asap.

@VJ
Thanks for playing. And yeah, while making my level, I realised that there were lots of puzzles and only a bit of platforming, so I decided to make the last section completely based on platforming. But I'm glad that you liked the level. Thanks for the great coments my friend!

Erm...I got stuck at the beggining...

Help?

Sure, if you are talking about the very first part of the level, it is pretty simple
the clouds are moving to the left and right, and what you need do to is to grab the mushrooms with a certain sequence. If the clouds move to the right, then grab the right mushroom, and same to the left. You need to do this until the dark wind dissapears.
Is that the problem?, if not, just let me know

hi there rockallover, nice to meet you (as far as i remember, i've never talked to you )
i played this level a while ago, when it came out, i mean, i knew indie_r3cords was a good creator, becouse i've played a curious sack, and when i saw this level (made by him) i downloaded it, but i never knew you were "him"...

anyways, the point is that i didnt knew there was a thread for it in here, so i dont remember the level very well, so i'll do it for the parts i remember:

the good:
-nice environments, with colours related to mushrooms, butterflies, etc...
-the level was all divided in sections, every section had a puzzle, every puzzle made something happen, simple and effective
-the level had a great lenght, it took me like 10 minutes to finish it (well, maybe it was becouse some parts were a little bit confusing, but lets assume it wasnt becouse of that )
-it reminded me of ZEN, and if you check out fastbro's top 50 levels, ZEN, is the best one, 'nough said
-good use of stickers, made the level look misterious and enigmatic, i like it!
-awsome logic, im still wondering how did you created the dancing mushrooms dance one at a time

the not-so-good:
-the dark-thing-in-the-air in the first puzzle was too dark, and it took me a while to figure out where were the mushrooms to grab
-the part inside the flowers hearth was a total maze, i had no idea were to go, and i died a lot just by jumping into holes, were i thoke the scoreboard whould be.
-nothing more, the level was way too perfect

OVERALL:
awsome mysterious level with fresh and untold story
98/100
congrats!

i gave it 5 stars and i hearted it!
oh could you check out my new boss (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=39389-rock-my-system)that i'll submit to a contest and tell me anything you find bad and/or too hard, or ugly, etc..., i whould be very greatfull

You can now remove that level with the memory logic if you want to, I have downloaded it. I think that I've figured it all out now, and beside the binary counters and adders, this is probably one of the most complex logic gates I've seen on psp! Great job thinking it up.
and you mentioned that this was the prototype? Was there anything you changed with this one and the actual? It still works geat anyway, and right now I'm working on minimizing it. If it's all right with you I'd like to feature it in part of the Logic pack recreation for PSP I'm helping with, I'd give you credit in the level if you would prefer it too. Lastly, do have a name for it? I'd like to know what to call it. Thanks again

Hey, I did finish the old version but I'm going to download your new one later. I'll leave feedback when I do.

Edit: Alright, I finally played it. The new version worked flawlessly, and any real gripe I had was taken care of. First, I really did your attention to detail. Everything looked amazing and had all kinds of awesome detail. I really like the ?grass/moss? Especially with the little tufts of ?grass? Sticking out. That was pretty cool. Your material choices were awesome and very vivid/colourful. Allof your puzzles/logic were great. I really enjoy going through a level and trying to figure out how people do whatever it is they do. Your level contained some interesting ones, still wondering about a couple of things. The story, kind of, eludes me. Not really 100% sure what is going on, but it is still an amazing level.

Inside of the Mushaboom, I found a spot to jump out of the level, and could check out a little bit of logic. It was right after you grab the wench, you can jump off of the right most pink petal and clear the gas. Some of the instructions were vague and left me wondering what to do. It didn't take too long to figure it out. When I was checking out the heart, I found what appears to be a copy of the topmost part of the heart on the ground. O.o Last, I found the level a bit short.

I gave you a solid 5 stars and a heart. Great job.

ok now dont take this the wrong way but...
every time i play this i think itss been inspired by shrooms.
shrooms make clouds go away, make the mushrooms dance, make the shroom get better, talk to butterfly...
and i love it for that.
i love the shroomyness.
i love mushrooms they are one of my favorite foods along with kangaroo and carrott...
*fantasizes about food*
but i love your level too.
i hope to see you around.

Hey rOckal! Sorry for not playing this level sooner, but I do hope you enjoy my feedback.

Okay, for starters, I'm not going to comment on the "mistake" people already mentioned. It must be annoying getting the same feedback over and over. So instead, I think I'll just tell you my impressions on this level and leave it at that.

Ahem....

I loved the [BEEP] out of this level! It was beautiful and it covered an area few people dare cover: abstract art! I don't know whether you were going for this effect, but it made my day seeing this level. Even the ending gave me a smile! Again, I'm not sure you were aiming for any area of art here, but the ending platforming made me think of shadow art almost immediately! It was by far one of the most beautiful levels I've ever seen, and the level's sheer energy and mood made me feel sad when the level ended and I couldn't continue the story. I haven't felt the same way since ZEN, but comparing the two doesn't do any justice for both level's beauty, now does it?

Overall, :star::star::star::star::star: and a very deserved <3! Excellent job on this level; the wait was definitely worth it!

Peace

Hi, indie_r3cords!

I played your level just right now and was amazed by very high levels of visuals and gameplay! Excellent work! Very cool ideas! In someplace it is not very easy to find right way to pass farther, but patience can do miracles! I finished your level and it was very interesting and fun to play it! So many cool and beautiful places, so good obstacles and platformer parts! I love this level!

I gave you 5 stars and heart and heart as creator for you!

I discovered one more great creator for me. It is very sad, but lately I have not much time fot psp scene, but here we have new wave of very good creators and it is excellent!

Good luck with your new creations! I will look for something new from you!
