I am adding your level to a list of levels that I want to play. It takes some time to get to them all and comment on each one, but I will get there!2010-11-02 18:43:00

This is a fun little level!
I'm not all that into fishing and the like but you did this really well.
I had a little trouble at 1st with the controlling but it is pretty self explanatory once u fiddle with it. =p

I can't think of anything I would change or add to the level to make it any better the it already is!
The seagulls at the end are cute made me giggle.
5 stars from me <3

Hi Sascha, hoping for some F4F on my own

Just got done with your level! Starting in the harbor was fantastic and detail was good. The detail in the contract and how you accomplished the manual is a mystery to me, but it was done very well. Slightly difficult to read the manual but you get a good understanding and even though it was slightly blurry, I really liked it in there.

The boat was done well. I was slightly disapointed with the detail here, but its a fishing boat and there not too glamorous to begin with, but perhaps add a tad bit more detail to the vessel. The crane, boat, cart and everything else you operate did work flawlessly. I particularly liked seeing it go from the crane to the cart to its own storage.

Everything was good but it certainly felt slow and dragged on. If there was any suggestion, perhaps get a starry night in the night sky with a shooting star or moon. Then in between the crab pots, perhaps get some dolphins swimming along side the boat. Perhaps implement some rough water...just something to break up the monotony from each crab pot to the next. I also wanted to see more of a village towards the end as well. I liked your detail in the building and it had me wanting more.

All and all, it was good and I liked it, just not a jump for joy thrill ride.

Nice job with the overall look of the level. all the mechanics worked really well. The one thing missing was something in the background. some stars or clouds would have been nice.2010-11-03 07:46:00

How fun was that?! What an intersting adventure, very engaging! Made me wanna jump a boat and fish! Great gameplay, you somehow made it feel like real life. I really rather enjoyed the details you included (and agree a few more would be icing on the cake), and felt like I accomplished a true day's work by the end. Neat idea, very well done!2010-11-03 17:02:00

Thanks for the feedback, I went ahead and added some clouds and constellations to break up some of the background emptyness. As of right now I am designing a town for the beginning of the level and some sea life to interact with the ship between each crab cage.2010-11-04 21:49:00

I played just a little of this but right from the begining I knew this was gonna be a great level. I didnt really get the chance to finish it because of unrelated LBP use but I would like to go back and finish it. I liked the 3D glitch that you placed in the backround for a nice scenery. The boat looked like it might of taken sometime to make, and thats a big plus. I will go back and play the rest and also some other of your LB levels.

Yooooooooo wussap...played this level. just so u know..in the future Make sure u request f4f on levels that are doin f4f..not that i cared because i enjoy playin other memebers levels..but some ppl arnt really as nice as i am. Now this level..Is your best one...the boat...the concept...the little sack cut outs...the sounds made...everything is really great..gave it 5 stars. As for your other levels..I dont really think theyre levels..they're more like demos...or item showcasings...not that thats bad..not at all. But I really didnt feel like I could give them the same type of review because I didnt really consider them full levels. All in all I found your demos enjoyable and made me think a little bit and that gravitron is the best Anti gravity showcase Ive seen. good job.2010-11-12 03:40:00

Hi there,

What an unusual level ! (but a great one anyway).
At first I love the whole level design : the two harbours, the boat, the characters, the night sky, the seagulls, the crane.
Then I find all your mechanisms very inventive and realistic, indeed to be honest I didn't read the manuel of the boat at the begining but as the commands were explicit enough, I managed to use it very easily.
Just two little things to say :
- At the begining the left empty space is quite odd (maybe a building instead to prevent the player from going west).
- Once you succeeded to grab two crabs, it's all the same thing for the three others thus I'm afraid some players find this boring.

Anyway I put a deserved :star::star::star::star::star:
I would be interested to know your view on my level below, give it a chance someday if you have time, thanks !

Great job anyway !

N.B. I liked the point of humour at the end with the seagulls

Feedback

Positives:
+The shipped looked really good and reminded me of the show alot
+Contract lists looked really good
+Traps with the lobster in it was pretty good
+Character cutouts looked awesome

Negatives:
-Level was kind of short but I understand it was focusing on the fishing
-Dark matter as the clouds I didn't really like all that much but still gave it a okay look to the level

Overall the level was very good::star::star::star::star:
Keep up the good work

So I played your level. Gotta say, your background looked really good with the clouds, stars and moon. The boat looked pretty good, and the contract and instructions worked well. A few things to improve upon:

-The boat looks a bit plain. Why not spice it up with some stickers. Rust and smudge would probably look good.
-The "ports" feel kind of lifeless. Maybe have some other ships, other building, etc.
-The gameplay was a bit boring. The boat was slow, and all the crab pots were exactly the same. Someone in this thread mentioned rough water, and I think that'd certainly make it a bit more entertaining.

4 stars.
