Yeah, I'm back! Boy, it was a crazy journey. You know the whole "Land of The Banned" level in LBPCTG? The real trip's about twice as bad. FAQ TIEM: Q: Why did you get b&, B3? A: I posted a well-known meme that no one who has ever used the internet could possibly take offense at, but in the desire of the whole 'keep the site clad in protective bubble-wrap so no one gets hurt' philosophy, I was given an infraction. Rtm purposely raised a normal two point infraction to three points for a reason that I translate from modspeek to userspeek as "for the luls". I'll leave you to decide what impression that gave me of the mods in general. (Obligatory Bullet Bill blowing up a city .gif with the caption "Mod HQ".) Q: What did you do while b&, B3? A: The first thing any /b/tard does with free time: I organized my /b/ folder. After that, I joined a neat little site that was created as an answer to the moddergheddon, it's like LBPC but you're still allowed to have fun. I became rather dedicated to the site and applied for site blogger, and got the position. Yay! (Note: I'm not posting the URL here, as there are certain "people" who I wouldn't want getting within 3000 cyber-yards of the site... I think we all know who I mean.) After that I sat on my rear end and proceeded to play through the first Ratchet and Clank game on PS3. Fun. I also lurked around the site quite a bit. Q: OMG HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THIS AND THIS OR THAT???!!!1??1!!!one! A: Yes. I know our own Jeffy's a mod now (They grow up so fast. *sniff*), and to be honest, that's probably the reason I came back. Hopefully we can at least have a bit of sanity in the mod squad now. And I know about ALL your all's levels. Don't worry, I'll try to get to them. In summary, a quote of dorien's that pretty much sums things up: SI just think of this place as being like the doomsday clock sometimes. And I just think this is one of them times in LBPC's history where we just clicked a little closer to midnight..... See ya around the board, B3 EDIT: It would seem that Rtm didn't actually raise the infraction, it seems the level I received was the point set at moddergheddon. My bad.

Welcome back. But honestly, B3, if this place is so awful, feel free to clean out your locker and move on over to that other site And for the record, it wasn't just the meme. I think from your post above, people can get an inkling of the real (cumulative) reasons why you wound up in the land of the banned. But you're welcome to mash it up however you see fit.

You weren't. Your post was disrespectful, sexist and chauvanistic and included a deliberate bypassing of the language filter. "Being a common internet meme" has no bearing on any of that. I do also find it particularly interesting that you can be all civil and polite in private conversation with me on the matter, but in public you decide to twist things around for the purposes of making a scene, which clearly highlights the fact that this whole thread is a simple case of posturing and attention seeking, essentially boiling your entire post down to the equivalent of a 2 year old having a public tantrum in an attempt to embarrass a parent who's told them off. If anything, I modified the infraction to be more lenient. In reality, the reason you were banned was because you continue to act like a jerk on a regular basis. You know, as does everyone else, that this is the case. You aren't being picked on, or the victim of some personal vendetta against you, or some fundamental failing in the moderation of this site. In future (assuming you don't leave the site like you keep on implying - why is that, btw, that you kick up a fuss but always come slinking back?), if you're going to criticise me, please take the time to check your facts and formulate some reasoning that isn't riddled with holes, before posting it. My apologies Rtm, it seems that the infraction WAS the normal level - I'm just not used to the updates after moddergheddon. I've updated the OP to explain. Your post was disrespectful, sexist and chauvanistic and included a deliberate bypassing of the language filter. "Being a common internet meme" has no bearing on any of that. But see, that last sentence is where you're wrong (in my opinion of course.). This is the internet. Posts should be taken in the context of the internet. I used the analogy of a community of fish banning the breathing of water in our emails.
