In this level i wanted to use the paintinator as something more than just for killing stuff, i was also going for the basic light hearted fun approach with this.. i hope u have fun

notes: This is my very first Showcase so i'm kinda nervous, oh and the absent use of the corner editor was intentional (i wanted heavy right angles) but if u felt this was a wrong decision then feel free to let me know.

Feedback updates:
- Extra hidden points system added. (Per feedback of Midnight_Heist)
- No longer spawn at new checkpoint upon death at the start, blocks now re-emit. (Per feedback of Dark-Match and Midnight_Heist)
- Kart Spawning now has sound. (Per feedback of Midnight_Heist)
- Paint gun lowered at "Grab to spawn key" part. (Per feedback of Midnight_Heist)
- A hint has been added to the "Target Practice" area (Per feedback of John82wa)

- Death = new checkpoint?? I would re-emit the blocks if the player dies.
+ Moving platform X thing!
+ lol @ target practice.
+ Shoot L hazard out of your way.
- Got squished by the kart spawner.
- Lower the paint gun in the next (grab to spawn key) part. The player cannot see the small ledge.
- Kart spawner needs a spawning sound.
+ You get points for attempting to escape the level. Nice one. You need one on top of the ball key room though.
Aww, it's over.

Awesome, but a little short, how much thermo do you have left? (if any)

EDIT: No need to return feedback.
And wow, half the thermo? Cool. It doesn't need to be a "full" level, just a few more sections/mechanics would make it better. Adding more would net you my level heart at least.
It's a nice level, hope to see more from you.

Pros:
-The vibrant colors gave a very fun feel to the level.
-secret areas encourage people to break the normal boundaries without breaking the level.

Cons:
- Tho amusing the Target practice felt out of place and slowed down the momentum of the level since it is the only part where it doesn't involve the paintinator.
- The beginning death to new checkpoint felt very stiff. It gave me the feeling of missing part of the level. As midnight_heist suggested I would re-emit the blocks if the player dies.



The level is short but very well put together it feels very fluent in most areas. It would be nice to see a longer level with the same flow that you have started.

Thank u midnight_heist, i will look into the minus's that u mentioned, the re-emited blocks sounds tricky, but i will learn how to do it.. also i have over half thermo left, and i kept it short because i wanted it to feel like a nice quick little appetizer and not like a fully stretched out level, but ur right tho.. it could be at least a little longer, thank u for ur feedback....

.... oh and what level do i return the feedback for u??

Nice idea and the title is exactly what i got. The only thing was an issue for me was that near the beginning I could not see some of the electrified cubes. They lined up with the one in front of them, which caused me to just run right in to them. Maybe of if the cam was set at a slight angle, the player can visual prepare for the next obstacle. Brixx, I played your level co-op with my wife but we both got stuck at the target practice...not sure if its because it was co-op or not, but will have to go in as 1 player and see if I missed something....2010-11-05 09:57:00

Hi!! the target practice can be done in co-op, u have to shoot the background.. try sticking something there

..and thank u everyone for ur helpful feedback so far. @Sascha_Winter: i'll definately take a look at adding a different angle in the beginning.

Forgot to reply back to this! Sorry for the delay, I played it sometime ago and just like you said, the sticker. Just the one thing I failed to try

Other than that, my wife and I both loved this level. It was such a creative way of using the paininator and all the areas wher e you can find to collect more point bubbles was awesome. All and all, it worked perfectly. I would certainly play part 2 if you decide to do one.

Suggestions would be to specify the target practice, it might just be me, but I always forget to use the stickers...

Thank u John i'm glad u and ur wife had fun and ur right i think i will add a clue to the target practice part.. i noticed that the number of people that have completed the level is quite a lot lower than the number of times it's been played.
