Gravitron ( zero gravity chamber )sascha_winter

The experimental Gravitron which produces a zero gravity experience.
My version to the common zero gravity room:

Features:
-Gravitron and Gravometer
-13 second limit with digital timer
-Infinate resets
-Music sensitive to gravity
-Sticker enabled exit
-Upon exit, you may view from observation room
-Points based upon zero gravity attempts

Thanx in advance to any feedback on this level

---Note, I used a gas/new entrance gate type transporter to move the players from the Zero Gravity Room to the Observation Deck. It works 85% of the time, the other 15% it kills you and says "you used up all of your lives". I am uncertain why there is an inconsistancy to this set up. Any help with this will be appreciated.

Sorry i took so long to return feedback, but here it is.

Postives
- I liked how smooth it felt while floating, i remember playing a level that attempted this and it felt sorta "jerky" or too sudden. however u pulled it off nicely.
- The delayed timing of the red cubes rising was a nice effect, it gave it more of an realistic antigravity feel.
- The idea that u can repeat it as many times as u want is great.
- I liked the way u used the LED's for the countdown timer and the Las Vegas type arrows near the elevator looked nice

Negatives
- Although i know this was a concept/idea test type level, i couldn't help feeling that i wanted more, i was like "awwww i wish this was a gameplay level"
- I wasn't really a fan of the visible gas death.. it would've been cool if like the gravity chamber would sorta "shut down".. and go dark before we get gas'd

Overall i thought it was a very clever level, and it felt very precise through the way u thought it out with the use of timings and the way u used ur logic, i would love to see what ur gameplay levels are like

Hello Brixx 101,
Thank you for your feedback. Im glad you liked the level:

-I really like this idea and i would like to impliment this into the level, however I am unsure how to. The problem is that the 4 overhead lights that I chose are "search lights" and I they dont turn on and off. Unless im missing something. I could just simply switch out the lights for a different type, apply some logic and be all set..... but i REALLY like the "look" of these lights.

Feedback:
+ Very smooth simulation
+ Unlimited Resets
+ Cool Timer
+ Very detailed
- Glitched (fell through floor & got crushed)
- Visible Gas death (darkening the level would've made it look a little cooler)

Overall, very good level.

If you don't want to dissolve the lights (brain attached to it; don't glue the lights to the level, but use dark matter), you can perhaps emit a big, black wall in front of the camera - somewhere in the front 50 layers - to simulate temporary darkness.
