Level Progression

Archive: 6 posts

I've only just begun to play this game. I've completed all the levels in the Garden Stage (the first one..) and now I don't know what to do. I was expecting some new level(s) to be available but it seems that I'm stuck just playing over the very levels that I've already beaten. Surely I am doing something wrong..

How do I continue to play new levels, specifically beyond the Garden stage?

thanks

After completing Skate to Victory, a second Curator should appear called Zola, with another level. If that hasn't happened then there's something wrong ...2010-11-01 19:29:00

yeah I remember completing Skate to Victory and then a new level did appear, but it was a more of a timed-course than a conventional level. I know my percentage of completion for Skate wasn't very good so perhaps that is hindering my progress. I'll go back and play the levels again to 100% completion to see if that helps. thanks for the input.2010-11-01 19:55:00

It shouldn't make a difference what percentage of goods you've collected, as long as you get to the scoreboard in each level...as soon as you finish each area, it should "link" you to the next level...and for what it's worth, there is A LOT to this game beyond The Gardens....when you get through the story mode, or for a good change of pace, hit up the Level Showcase and Level Spotlight for some really cool user-made levels...in my opinion, most if not all of the the Spotlighted levels are more fun to play than most of the stuff MM released in the vanilla game. Seems like they made those levels just to show you different ways to use logic, and so people could play something offline if need be.2010-11-03 15:16:00

Not that there aren't some truly excellent user-created levels, but I've seen very few that reach the heights of polish and gameplay that the MM levels have.

This may sound a bit silly, but are you sure you have the full copy of LBP, and not just the demo? The demo only allows you to play the first three levels in the Gardens.2010-11-03 20:42:00
