Hello, everyone! I would like to share with you a set of songs I've made for Linque's Mega Sackbot project. They are all done with chiptune sounds, as they take direct inspiration from the 8-bit MegaMan series. I am constantly improving on them, tweaking this and that, as well as adding new songs to the level when the need arises. Take note that the songs are rather short, but that's how they were in MegaMan and I'm trying to keep it as close to that as possible. And now, some comments on the songs: game intro - Just an old idea I had, but never got to translate it into chiptune. I like how it turned out. stage1 - This was my first attempt at using LBP2's music sequencer. The song was pretty much done on the fly. Not my favorite, but I've grown attached to it. stage2 - I really like how the lead turned out on this one. Probably my favorite one at the moment. boss intro - This is the result of dubstep + chiptune. Yes, it's brief, but it's supposed to be that way. It's the music that plays when a boss character appears while his/her health bar fills up, quickly followed up by... boss battle - My friend told me "he'd fight to this". I lol'd. xD Gonna try and make a sort of "music gallery" level in the upcoming weeks, where I can showcase all the music (chiptune and otherwise) that I've done. I plan to (hopefully) make music for more fellow Creators and their levels later on. Oh, and pardon the horrid presentation. I'm aware it's all a blob of Dark Matter... let me just come out and say how jealous i am that youre doing this for someone else nah, but seriously, i got to hear this when i was checking out my competition (lol, if you could consider me to be any comparison) in the mega man themed levels. very nice work. I think it fits nicely with sir linque's design perfectly. stellar work from both of you. for my levels i would probably want to not stick so closely to the original style. sir linque's levels stay a lot more true to the original than mine will so it only makes sense that the music should too.

Heyas! Your tunes are beyond awesome, as I have commented before. I'll have to test your level out deftmute, it's always cooler when someone puts their own twist in the formula. There's a couple of additions by aer0blue that aren't yet mentioned in this thread - especially mentionworthy is the cool stage select tune. Awesomeness!
