The Tree: A Sackbot Based Trilogy

Archive: 4 posts

Long ago, during the days of LBP1, a scientist created the thing that assigned the need for the Tree.

A SackBot.

This SackBot was different, because of it's ability to think for itself. In a way, it was a Sackboy, without the organic parts.

This is going to be a trilogy where the player gets to control a SackBot, called the SAGE Model 5, and the SARIA model 1.

SAGE:
Sentient
Active
Genetic
Extract
First SackBot to have a deployable shield.

SARIA:
Sentient
Alchemic
Re-Modeled
Illicit
Artificial Intelligence
First SackBot to be able to use a creatinator.

The scientist who built you two suddenly disappeared after you were kidnapped and sent to the lowest basement, but the most secure room in the Tree. believed to be dead, he had one last wish for you.
Escape.
This very word has been programmed into your superchip, what is called your "Brain". Now, at the very bottom of the Tree, you two must escape, find the scientist, and retaliate against the ruthless forces of the staff of The Tree.

Level 1:
Unknown Will
20 years after the construction of The Tree, the extremely tall, and low, Asylum for SackBots, you guys have been sitting down in an unnamed Basement Floor. It was thought you were going to be staying there forever, but... Something clicks inside of you. You can't be sure if it is timed, or your Scientist himself has remotely re-activated you. You have a sudden need to escape The Tree, but hundreds of floors, won't be any walk in the asylum. You will have to take out a few Sackboys, maybe patrolling GuardBots, but nothing will stop a direct order from your master.

Completion:
SackBots - 70%
Tree - 50%

Level 2:
The Outside World

A year after escaping The Tree's island by boat, you somehow wind up in Rome. You think it might finally be safe, but the Asylum staff and Police are looking for you. Rome is the only real safe place, because it's been overrun by SackBot production factories, SackBots, and the occasional Sentient one. But, what once was the Vatican, surprises you the most. Your scientist killed the Pope, took his place, and has turned the Vatican into a SentientBot production Factory. With his help, you could actually rid the world of The Tree. But first, he needs a little help.

He needs you to go back.

Level 3:
Timber goes The Tree
Only a minutes after you bring back the AssassinBot, you, AssassinBot and an army of Sackbots head out by battleship and airship to destroy The Tree. What you don't know, is that they have been keeping the Sentient Sackbots for a reason. They have been trained for war since you left, and now, they will stop at nothing to destroy your army, as programmed. Can you stop them, and destroy the Asylum?

Yeah, that's the point of these levels. Probably will have screenshots and stuff when I get mah
PRE-ORDERED LBP2 DISC
in the mail, I'll have plenty. For now, the levels on the beta are mainly draft levels, slowly being adjusted until the game comes.

I'm trying to find some way to get them into the original game when it comes, so it will be there.

Thanks!
