Now that i have gotten your attention with the word free, let me tell you about this mod. ITS AWESOME! GO DOWNLOAD! Seriously though, this mod for Half-life 2 is quite impressive. Its basciclly a free easy downloadable game for steam with the only requirements being that you own Half-life 2: Episode 2. Created by Hen Mazolski, this is a horror themed first person shooter that delves in the the depths of insanity. Not wanting to give away too much, lets just say that Hen did a fantastic job in creating fear. Heck, I was a bit nervous even watching other videos of it. Seriously, its scary. Using great special effects and perfect sounds at the right moment, Im surprised that valve didn't hire this guy and his company. Theres this level on polish on it that i have not seen in allot of mod (Besides Redship). He even created his own custom weapon models and character skins. He even has a unique tool in it called the Auto Scare System. When you reach certain points, something will happen like your flashlight flickers or you see something run by door. He even gets physiological scares in it too, which are some of the scarier parts so im not going to describe them. Combat is essentially Half-Life 2 style. As well, to anybody who played the original Nightmare House, this game contains a updated version of that level that serves as the prologue. It actualy has voice actors, a good plot, 12 times longer then Nightmare House, this is definitlly a game you should download. Just search for Nightmare house 2 and go to their website. An extra little part of info, look out for easter eggs and play on the hardest difficultly. Just in time for Halloween. Have fun!
