[PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR]Clock Tower ~the first fear~

azurei_dx.: Lawl. I'm putting a disclaimer for the level and plot. WARNING. THIS GAME CONTAINS SCENES OF HORROR AND INTENSE VIOLENCE. Children die in this story. If you get offended by the content of violence or sadism, get out. ...WAIT! I DIDN'T EVEN EXPLAIN THE PLOT YET. THAT WAS JUST A WARM UP. September 12?, 1995 - Romsdaaren, Norway Four orphans from the "Granite Orphanage" were escorted by their new mother "Ms. Mary" to the Burroughs Mansion to meet their new family. There, stands a Clock Tower. It's most predominant feature. And there... they die. One by one. Slaughtered an entity, with a giant pair of scissors? This is a level best for 1 Player only. And yes, you can save yourself. You can save everyone. But can you? You have no weapons. You are not some buff with unusual strength. You cannot run forever. You are helpless. You can only rely on your stamina. Your will to survive. Your courage to make it through the endlessness of the Clock Tower. And your occasional hiding spots! FEATURING: > THE PANIC BUTTON - You struggle all you can but it's coming! TAP the X button QUICKLY to escape! > SURVIVAL MODE - Tapping L1 and R1 makes you run as fast as you can go but be careful as your strength and stamina will wear out the more you run in an empty corridor or some sort. > PANIC MODE - The world around you screws and twists as you imagine the worst. From a shade of white to nothing but dark red and black > INTERACTIVE/ DYNAMIC CINEMATICS - You may choose to do something or watch suffering and do nothing about it. This also includes your death scenes (if you fail). > A TWISTING STORYLINE NOTE: This game does not rely on gore or violence, but the emotion of being captured. (Only in some parts) Here's a snippet: Unpacking luggage in your new room, you pick up your diary and start writing. You continue unpacking and see a cabinet and on the side there is a mirror. You decide to put some stuff there. Your stuff fall off the cabinet. You scream and got GRABBED BY THE NECK AS YOU STRUGGLE TO FREE YOURSELF FROM HANDS THAT HAVE EMERGED FROM THE BACK OF THE MIRROR. The mirror shatters and you manage to grab a piece of glass and stab one of the arms and it frees you. In worry, you search for the others. The game begins. UPDATE: AWESOME! Pressing L1 puts the main character (still to be revealed) into Running Mode. If left panicked or running for too long, the screen turns bloody red and dark, you can hear her(!) heart beat and she starts to slow down. You can get her to take a break of all the pressure by pressing L1 again. The timer will count back and everything will be back to normal. Or not? AND THE STAIRS. ARE AWESOME! There not the stupid ones you have to jump on, you can simply run up them and going down, you get the idea of walking up and down stairs right? + Main Character Sackbots are awesome too! They're all fully decorated with their own clothes, styles and size. So no one is no longer the same. Cutscenes are alse enhanced. I just realized you could keep the sackbots lying on the ground by sticking it or putting invisible dark matter above them. Perfect for the psychopathic who wish to see death be played right in front of them! AWESOME! Currently implementing UI for the game. It should say, "Press triangle (appears as a symbol) to start" after the intro. Adding a load, save feature. Pressing triangle sends you to the level. Pressing O brings you back to the menu. Sub-levels are locked so you can only access the chapter in the load menu when you get there in the game. (You can get journey saved through keys or other means) I've just finished 1/20th of the game! Expect it to come around this month or December! EDIT: OH NOOOOOO. I ACCIDENTALLY DELETED EVERYTHING. I accidentally pressed TRIANGLE instead of X and then it told me something about deleting the level. I PANICKED. The left stick wouldn't budge, I tried to put the controller down but my thumb pressed X. O_O WHAAT!? MY WORK. GONE! EDIT-EDIT: OMG. I WAS ABOUT TO SCREAM BUT... ONLY THE LEVEL disappeared. NOT the AI. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? It actually made the ENTIRE LEVEL BETTER. Deleting the level I did, I made a WAAAAAY better one that put LBP2 to its limits. (Slightly, the level doesn't run smooth anymore. If only I knew how to post pictures of the game to LBPC. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. Keep tuned to what we have in store later! + TELEPORTERS WORK! Now just press TRIANGLE to enter a room or another checkpoint. You wont lose a life! It's awesome! + Working Elevators.
