Create Team Death Match
Archive: 10 posts
I came up with this idea one day and i thought i should tell people about it and ask if they think it would be fun So what if there was a clan of people in Lbp who did create team death matches in a tournament .I thought this was a good idea. This is how it would work, the battles would be 2on2 first team to 15 kill of the other team wins. Each team is aloud half the thermometer. There would be limits on emitters so you wouldn't keep dying. Each team would have 30 minutes to create whatever they want out of destructible materials[within rules above].This would be in a single elimination tournament, there would be tournaments with or without water that would be decided in advance.Does this sound like a cool idea? Personaly I find this idea limited and unfair: the only objective is to kill the ennemy, so they won't make their weapons look good and it'll will just emit rockets or bombs at a 0,1 or 0,0 frequency. | 2010-10-29 16:28:00 Author: ZeroZ30o Posts: 157 |
I think a better "Clan Deathmatch Tournament" would be one where you made a level like Virtual Combat, i think its on youtube somewhere, and made clans do a two on two fight in your level, this would be the fairest way, and you could write up a timetable for the matches here on lbpc so that people could organise clan battles themselves... Good idea though i just dont understand how it would work in create mode... | 2010-10-29 17:54:00 Author: Skalio- Posts: 920 |
After you were done creating you would play the level. | 2010-10-29 20:47:00 Author: supremeoverlord1 Posts: 117 |
Oh right, still i think that it could be quite unfair and hard to implement well. although i do think that what i explained above would take off on lbpc and is pretty simple to organise, if you dont wanna do it thne i might... | 2010-10-31 20:32:00 Author: Skalio- Posts: 920 |
Can you post a link of that level please? | 2010-11-01 22:02:00 Author: supremeoverlord1 Posts: 117 |
This isnt the level i was talking about but they are quite similar (looks-wise): LittleBigPlanet 2 Beta | Capture the Flag by Nuclearfish | Gameplay (HD) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NSf70Rs2uw) also remeber the creatinator deathmatch Mm showed us?? | 2010-11-02 02:24:00 Author: Skalio- Posts: 920 |
I think it would be very cool if we could get someone to make 3 or 4 awesome deathmatch levels and then have an LBPC tournament with 10-20 participants. These deathmatch levels could be anything from creatinator deathmatches, top-down death matches like foofles's level, maybe even a tanks type level. That would be fun! | 2010-11-02 02:55:00 Author: ShamgarBlade Posts: 1010 |

I'm saying people make their own vehicles and stuff to fight with. And then go to play mode. Points would be awarded to the other team when a member of the opposing team dies. The team with the most points after an amount of time would win. | 2010-11-02 15:30:00 Author: supremeoverlord1 Posts: 117 |
