Well, l was wondering if l was mixed with something so l asked my parents and went on the internet and figure out my family goes all the way to the 1600's and l figured out my great great great great grandfather was a chief of the Black Creek Tribe and my great great great great grandmother was a priest from ltaly. So l'm indian, black, and ltailan. What are your family heritages? | 2010-10-29 00:07:00 Author: Flashwire Posts: 217 |
Turns out i'm 50% Sackperson and 50% Cardboard | 2010-10-29 00:12:00 Author: Unknown User |
Dutch mostly. Little German, English & French. My Great Aunt did a bunch of my families genealogy and the coolest thing she found is that we have 9 lines we can trace back to Charlemegne. There's other neat stuff too. Like my family name is really old and pre-Norman Saxon. We have a family crest too. It's cool - has three dogs on it. | 2010-10-29 00:30:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
My Family name orginated in Germany, but my earliest relative was the navigator for william the Conqerour | 2010-10-30 09:44:00 Author: Unknown User |
I don't really know much about my family tree... all I know is that some guy from Germany moved to Finland a loooong time ago... (Like 11 generations back...) Which is also why my last name is a very common German name although I'm Finnish. | 2010-10-30 09:57:00 Author: napero7 Posts: 1653 |
My great (insert a few more greats here) grandfather murdered his wife with a poker. | 2010-10-30 11:05:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
My great-grandfather was probably italian (so my dad and I have italian citizenship). My grandfather was born sometime before 1900, and he died before I was born. (imagine how my dad felt that day). He had a lot of sons from previous marriages, all dead now. My dad has only one brother alive by now. My grandmother got married to another man that I consider my grandfather. Our family has a lot of business around our region, and lots of branches. (there are some people that I don't even know!) And me, my father, and my grandfather have the same name. | 2010-10-30 12:52:00 Author: gdn001 Posts: 5891 |

Truth be told, my family has never been able to successfully track our family lineage over long periods of time. But, we did find some interesitng facts: - Both sides of my family originate from Ireland, both being raised Catholic. - My last name can possibly come from 3 different countries: Ireland, England, or Scotland. - My mom claims that our German side could possiby be "German-speaking-Dutch", "Austrian-speaking-German", "French-speaking-German", "German-speaking-French", or "Swiss-speaking-German". - It seems that every name my family has fallen under has some lineage of nobility or royalty. - Our oldest ancestor we could aaccurately trace was an Iroquois medicine man named "Tall Tree"; he was a horse doctor. - Our Iroquois side claims to hail from upstate New York, and claim to have invented popcorn and lacrosse. - Apparantly, 3/4 of all of my relatives live in the Philippines; nearly all of them know who I am (and I know NONE of them). - My mom's great aunt and uncle started tracing our ancestory; they suddenly stopped when they found out that part of my family was African-American. - My grandfather was born of an American soldier & a Spanish mistress; my other grandfather was born in the boondocks of Missouri. - My grandmother was born on one of the smallest islands in the Philippines. - My family line comes from every inhabited continent except Australia. - We estimate that about 7-9 other lines of ancestory have yet to be discovered. | 2010-10-30 20:01:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |

Well, my ancestors were royalty! One of them was a Prince of Wales and another, if you trace back far enough, was an Ancient King of Britain. I'm not kidding. Bow down to me! | 2010-10-30 21:37:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
Umm.. Well... My country is harder to invade since it's an island! *orders a wall to be built all around Britain* | 2010-10-30 21:48:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
I know three things, one, i am at least 1/64 native american ( cherokee to be exact ) my last name is german ( muller, the u is long. ) and...that i am about 50% sure, that i am related no nobility. And, ( i just remembered this ) my second cousin was married to a man named Chuck Norris ( no joke ) and her son, my third cousin is Chuck Norris's son. how epic is that. sadly, they got divorced. but, if you disregard that, my genetics look a bit like this. 20% knitted brown fabric, 10% black plastic, 10% metal zipper, 50% cotton stuffing. EDIT ( do'h i missed 10%.... oh well, here is the other 10% and 10% imagination. | 2010-10-30 21:58:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |

50% Irish, 50% New Zealander.* *Note: New Zealander doesn't really mean anything, it's a mish-mash of European and Polynesian. I am related to an ancient Irish King, however. My Great Aunt did a bunch of my families genealogy and the coolest thing she found is that we have 9 lines we can trace back to Charlemegne. Nearly everyone in Europe can do that. Charlemagne was a love machine. | 2010-10-31 02:15:00 Author: tomodon246 Posts: 624 |
Well, my ancestors were royalty! One of them was a Prince of Wales and another, if you trace back far enough, was an Ancient King of Britain. I'm not kidding. Bow down to me! Holy Roman Empire baby Empress will do nicely Well i've also got lines to a certain King of England but so as not to offend my Scottish friends I'll not name him... he was a jerk. lol Oh and There's a connection to Catherine the Great.... ya, we're gonna leave that alone. | 2010-10-31 02:28:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |

Royal titles don't register to me, since my ancestors have either killed off royalty or over-thrown them. My family claims descent from William the Conqueror, the Scots and the Norsemen. My grandma's side is said to be the same people who killed Magellan. So, in any case... watch out. :kz: | 2010-10-31 02:44:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
I am mostly human.. and my birth certificate says Live Birth. So I think that means I am related to all my relatives going back all the way to wherever they came from. I think I am part Dutch and a small bit of Irish. Not sure which parts though. I've never worried about who all I was related to all the way back to whenever. So far none of them have done me any good to worry about it except for my immediate family. They fed and took care of me when I was young as well as smiled and made me laugh. For that I am most grateful and the only ones in my heritage I care about. Even if far back on my family tree there are great kings and lowly peasants in the list, it really means nothing... I'm still me regardless. | 2010-10-31 04:01:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
My parents are German and English. (So I'm half of each, and actually have two passports!) If you trace it further than that, you'll find some Irish, Scottish, Swedish (I think) and a few others... | 2010-10-31 04:16:00 Author: standby250 Posts: 1113 |

The royal line is my mother's side. If you go down my father's side, we are related to Vikings... Soo... Yeah. | 2010-10-31 10:02:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |
I'm anglo-arab. For those of you who don't know, Anglo-arab is a mix between Arab and British heritages. Their must be at least one parent who is arab and the other has to be British, after these rquirements have been met their child's (which in this case is The-Questor) heritage would be anglo-arab. My British heritage is traced back to scottland so I am also a wee bit scottish (<---see what I did there?;o) where as my arab heritage is rather bland. I am not related to anyone famous or noble so I am just a regular dude....Oh! My great uncle's name was Bob so when you say "...Then bob's your uncle!" You could be referring to my mom's uncle. | 2010-10-31 16:18:00 Author: The-Questor Posts: 1328 |

Napoleon still trumps all. He was the Ghangis Khan of the 1800's. He would have taken over the world if the people he left in charge back in France weren't stupid.(He was away in Africa trying to conquer Egypt) :kz: Shakes head in disappointment. Napoleone was born in Ajaccio, Corsica, in 1769, one year after France occupied the island. So basically another Italian. | 2010-11-02 08:54:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
my family is from all over europe. my mom's fathers family immigrated to the usa from greece... they can trace heritage back to sparta. my mom's mom is irish french i think. on my dads side of the family its a bit more complex... scottish, german, english, canadian, and can't remember the rest lol... my dads family has relations that came over to usa on mayflower. related to a famous poet. fought in many wars. and i'm still learning more all the time about my family ^_^ i wasn't joking about the sparta thing... i can lay claim to quote: I AM SPARTA!!!! | 2010-11-02 15:38:00 Author: calyst_aayla Posts: 217 |
I'm surprised my family has been able to reproduce as far as me, we all practically hate each other with a few exceptions so I'm not sure where our long line of stupid actually hails from. As far as I'm concerned none of us know, or cares really. Me---Born in the States - - - My Mom- Comes from Barbads---Her mon Barbados- Her mom Old America (Before any of our times) ---Her Father Barbados- His mother England His Father ?Pirate? (Had an Eye patch) ' My Dad- Comes from Jamaica ---Shrouded in mystery---- So as you can see nothing makes sense, and nothing ever will...so yes I like many many many others am an American Mutt doomed to walk this (and the next) Earth without ever knowing their heritage. But look at the bright side Na Na Na Na Boo Boo Stick Your Head in Doo Doo. | 2010-11-02 18:17:00 Author: Bradlee Posts: 96 |
