I would love to have this feature! It would really help my clan be able to communicate quickly. And if we have the ability to make passwords for our chats it would keep our ideas a secret. What do ya think?

G'day Stuff, this was discussed previously and the decision then was to not have one as there are numerous other ways to chat such as MSN & IRC to name two. I'm sure if Cartman or lbp of the Admin team read this and their decision has changed they will post to let you know. Cheers QuozL

It has been posted a lot before, but we had LittleBigCreation's IRC to back us up. And now, we aren't even using LBC anymore. Well if you guys don't have anything official; After a while, I tried several IRC sites, and finally found one who isn't laggy, and doesn't need much requirements. I registered a Channel and everything. (Though I use the mIRC program, much simpler) How about it?

I still think we should have one on the site though. It would be a great feature. @QuozL: Many people don't have MSN or other things and you also have to accept them as friends, and they have to be online on it (when they may just be browsing LBPC anyway) and a chat room would be so much easier.

The problem with iScribble is that everyone has to Message Marino to get invited (Even if it's once); and can only happen when both users are online. I love using iScribble(Drawing what you want to say never gets old), and that's the only problem there is. New users would find a problem with it.

Feel free to send a msg to CC or lbp and ask, in the end it's their decision as the Admins, I've got nothing against it personally, I was just letting you know it had been discussed before and they decided they didn't want it. Cheers QuozL

We don't want an official chatroom for a couple of reasons. First, it would be incredibly hard to monitor to ensure our rules are being followed in the chatroom without one of us constantly watching the chatroom, which isn't feasible. Second, it would draw away from posts on the site, which isn't a good thing, either. Like I've said before, you guys are totally allowed to set up a chatroom and invite members there, but I cannot(and will not) guarantee our rules will be followed there.

Marino, is there a way for you to set more than one person to invite? If you could set maybe the staff & a few well known members, it might work?

I think an IRC would be nice once we get a few more members, so we can chat all we want to while not clogging up the forums. Though I do think it's not worth it now. We have relatively few members, and it's a pretty close knit community, so we can engage in normal conversation on the forums without any problems. But as we start reaching the 1000's I think we should look into getting an irc, but now's not the time.
