Who else is fed up with this?

Archive: 13 posts

The servers are still screwy as hell. I am so sick of this. I want to play some levels online. The biggest part of the game is the online community, so fix whatever you have to fix, maybe test it out first, then release a patch.

Perhaps they should have used the beta to fix the game's problems instead of use it to make people go crazy and trade away their Kratos codes...

...I swear, the beta ran way smoother than the game. What's up with that?

I'm on right now. Not too many issues. It's taking the levels a little bit long to load but it's a vast improvement over the last couple days. It's only going to get better. Make sure you get the new update.

I have.
Problem #1. The loading symbol won't disappear.
Problem #2. Most of the time, levels load incredibly slow. Sometimes, they don't load at all.
Problem #3. The game is incredibly frustrating in Create mode when logged in, the game takes long to load objects and takes forever to rewind.

I'm just lucky that I got FO3 and I can play that, or I'd be so ******.

...I know.
I don't care, actually. When a game releases, it should be perfect. Remember the good ol' days? When patches didn't exist, and devs HAD to work hard to make sure their game worked the way it should? Release a game, and have the important parts at LEAST playable. I share my PS3 with 2 brothers. And all of my "turns" playing LBP mainly consist of putting up with bugs, or having to restart the PS3 when LBP decides to stop working. I love the whole Play, Create, and Share concept, but so far I hate how it turned out. Perhaps I can sell it and get a game that works.
But anyone who wants to know, FO3 is a great game. I suggest any fan of Oblivion gets it.

I am also fed up. I could see the levels, and now I can't see any online levels. I'm not getting the "Cannot Logon" error, but I am clearly not logged on to the network.

This is a really bad release... They are screwing up big time. They needed to overload the servers during the beta. Why didn't this happen then? Did they not realize that people downloading 3-4mb levels, 10 or more per hour, with thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands of people playing would take a lot of bandwith? I think they fudged the numbers.

Edit: I also agree on the create mode thing. They need to make it so you have to CHOOSE to play online when in create mode. Create is solitary. No internet needed.

Mabye you guys should just stop complaining. Go play 1p mode, and collect the items. get used to this because it happens alot in games. It only takes bout a week or two, before its up and runnin. I have a hunch they might be trying to implement online co-op build or connecting the game to the site. So be grateful that you even have a ps3 cause lots o people cant afford one.

You dont need to be connected to the server to be in create mode. just online. and even if your kicked off, you can still work offline. I dont understand the problem..

The more we complain, the quicker the problem will get solved.

If I knew the launch was gonna be this sloppy I probably would've gotten Far Cry 2 and gotten this game on Christmas.

We all know that's a lie. Once the hype-train nears the station it always arrives.

Seriously if you are that unhappy with the game return it and get something else. Coming on here and whinging about it isn't going to fix anything as we get infrequent visits from Sam Protagonist from Sony as it is. If you have a constructive comment on the development of LBP then by all means post it but posting for the sake of having a sook is pointless and achieves nothing but cluttering up the forum.

Closed.
