OH! and don't forget, look at my current signature. OH! and btw i don't have photoshop < but, i can still do siggys, and if i really have to, i can use photoshop at school, in one of my classes, but not often, because i have to get my work done too. | 2010-10-27 02:16:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |
How come you kept the white outlines around some of the sackpeople? | 2010-10-27 03:06:00 Author: eagerneph Posts: 1536 |
i don't know, sometimes when i shoew them before they were done, they wanted to keep it that way, so i gave it to them, the lbu one was before i figured out how to remove it in paint. | 2010-10-27 03:09:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |
Ahhh I see. The white outline just bugs me. That's why I go very slowly after using the magic wand tool and erase all of the white. Like zis. http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/xx210/eagerneph/Requests/chinook3number2.png | 2010-10-27 03:16:00 Author: eagerneph Posts: 1536 |
I DONT HAVE A MAGIC WAND TOOL! i use paint.... so, i have to do it by hand, one pixel at a time. So.... yeah. you see my point. | 2010-10-27 03:31:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |
Then maybe you should GET GIMP! since it's free.....you know. | 2010-10-27 03:55:00 Author: Unknown User |
I DONT HAVE A MAGIC WAND TOOL! i use paint.... so, i have to do it by hand, on pixel at a time. So.... yeah. you see my point. I feel sorry for you - I really do... As Inan says - get GIMP - it's opensource free software and is pretty powerful as free software goes. MS Paint, IMO, should be banned! Rhy | 2010-10-27 12:47:00 Author: Rhyfelwr Posts: 606 |
I got gimp... i tried gimp.... it aannoyed me becuase i could not make the image area larger without making the image out of proportion, and the layers messed with me.... but i can do all kinds of cool stuff with photoshop ( at my school ) but gimp is just plain confusing, why? i have no idea. probably because it has almost non of the tools like, outlining letters, that photoshop does, i thought it would be like photoshop. but it wasn't so, i moved on, uninstalled it, and got paint.net, i will use that some, but normal paint is still my main tool. sorry. I love making 8-bit style signatures anyways, like ryandrew8, which are easy in paint, that one was fun truthfully, i could make a less fancy version of the group picture, using ONLY paint, and it wouldnt be that hard, and i could add more people. that would be fun. | 2010-10-27 12:57:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |
Yeah, I hated GIMP the first time I used it, and kept going back to paint.net. But after you keep working with GIMP, you can really make some amazing stuff. | 2010-10-27 14:25:00 Author: eagerneph Posts: 1536 |
yeah, Gimp can be a bit tricky to handle at frist, but keep at it! You can do amazing things with it if you don't quit using it. | 2010-10-27 20:19:00 Author: Joshofsouls Posts: 1569 |
i got paint.net... so, i might work with that, but, i am still not sure... i asked my mom to get me photoshop for christmas. so ill be able to do the awesome lbp sticker lettering and stuff, until then, ill just have to take hours to figure out how to do it on paint.net, which, is better than gimp because i can get plug-ins, or add ons for it to add to my tool collection. | 2010-10-27 23:00:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |
Well in GIMP, ya got BRUSHES! Brushes are truly amazing. So are filters. | 2010-10-27 23:09:00 Author: eagerneph Posts: 1536 |
ya got brushes in PAINT.NET too! btw, this isn't an art discussion thread, it is a signature request thread. | 2010-10-28 03:36:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |

smartalec..... oh well... fine. but i would like requests to show up here too, not just comments on how i need certain programs. anyway, could someone get me a picture of the floor in create mode, just the floor, and the air too. i could use that to make signatures, and i am not at my dads currently, so... i cant really do it myself. | 2010-10-28 03:59:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |
Hey, as per the fact that i don't have Photoshop, i can't make those sticker-letter things some people have on their signatures, and i need someone to do my name for me, and send me the image without a background, or tell me how to do it in PAINT.NET, or... gimp.... if you don't know how to do it, here is a link how to make littlebigplanet paper text (http://www.littlebigland.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=1804) ... i can't belive i am requesting something on my own request thread... i fell wierd... somehow. and, yes i would like it to be green, with the VAGrounded BT font, if you don't have the font, bing it, download it, and install it to do it, believe me, the font is worth it. | 2010-10-28 12:32:00 Author: flamesterart Posts: 585 |
