Feedback Time!

Music: Great, suited the level well.

Sound Effects: Not many, but those that were used were effective, I liked the scraping sounds the rock made naturally too.

Visuals: Very good, these showed you have really got the hang of the corner editor. Simple, but since the focus was on gameplay, they were pretty effective. The colour scheme and use of specific materials fitted the theme nicely. All that is needed is perhaps some more stickering, although the ones you did were good, a few more would add some extra detail to the level.

Gameplay: Simple and fun, although not groundbreaking, a great effort and big step forward for a first level. I really liked the use of the rocks spinning downwards to form steps. The ending added to the tension and was a very nice finish. Some more of this kind of drama would really add to the excitement of the level, just play around with new gameplay ideas to increase diversity.

Overall: Simple but effective visuals combine with fun and easy to understand gameplay to create a very nice first level. I see you put a lot of effort into this to produce a very good quality finished level. The the only thing you need to work on is fine-tuning the details and adding a few more complex challenges to challenge yourself, as well as the player. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things now you have set a high-standard starting point for you creative skills.

...Whoa, I didn't think I could write that much! Maybe I should do this more often. I hope the feedback helped.

Hello bob! The day of judgement has arrived.

AHEM!

This level was really good! I enjoyed playing it.
The visuals were...meh,acceptable.Nah,I'm kidding! they were really good. The materials blend well and the stickers were used well, but some more stickers wouldn't hurt.

Music fits well, but soundfx's...well,what can I say? you only used one.The crumbling cave part could've been more exiting if you used some...ummm,I don't know...crumbling sounds?

Your gameplay approach was very simple, but it's fun to play.
One thing to keep in mind when using old ideas is that when you use them you should give it your own twist (yes,I'm talking about the spinning platforms).I really don't mind those spinning things, but it would be more fun if you used them in a different way.

I also had a problem at the second part of the cave.It was when you had to pull a switch to get the rock platforms lower.Ok,I pulled the switch, the rocks went lower slowly, giving me the opportunity to sneak underneath it.I think you know what happends next, right? YOU GET STUCK FOREVER!!! Yeah,I had to restart.

I really enjoyed this level.:star::star::star::star::star:

About your level. Great platforming, but could've used a few more decorations, it seemed a bit bland in areas. And when I was taking a picture of the text explaining the cave is falling down, the cave did, and I had to restart the whole entire level. That sucked. But I really do like the shaking camera. :star::star::star::star::star:

Fun Level !2010-10-29 17:17:00

Hey Hellobob5!

I recently played this level by you and I was measely impressed. I never seen a level by you before, so this is my first time playing a level made by you. It's a nice straight forward platformer level, we don't see these levels often. The obstacles were well implemented and a fun playthrough. There wasn't really a score challenge, but that's okay. It's still an amazing level.

You implemented the Main Step of most Platformer creators. That is using the thin layers to trace around the thick layers. This is truefully a VERY USEFUL STEP. I don't see why some Platformer creators don't trace their thick layers. I mean, like that improves the level by a lot. It gace me a smile to see you use this. Anyway, I liked your sticker work as well. Your caves kind of reminded me of Mines; the stilts and stuff.

I can see you go far as creator. It would be awesome to see you create more levels because this level was well deserving. This level had vivid colors and lucid scenery. The obstacles were not to hard, but each one was new. The terrain was creative and those mechanics you had were well done. Some creators can't pull off what you made, even if it wasn't that complex. You still managed to work out everything. I had no error or glitch during my gameplay. I'll give you your rating.

Length: 5/5 (This lasted quite long and each step was different.)
Material Usage: 5/5 (You stuck to a certain variety of materials which were effective.)
Sticker Work: 5/5 (This sure did glamourize the scenery of the cave.)
Corner Editing: 5/5 (Very Cave-like and each formation was unique.)
Terrain/Mechanics: 5/5 (Like I mentioned before, each obstacle was new and fun.)
Story: N/A

Total: 25/25 Perfect Score!!

Your level remind of the old times of LBP, in a good way!
With that said, you earned 5 stars :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart! <3

Good luck to you my friend,
-Spark

What a great level! This is, without a doubt, my favorite PSP level so far. Granted, I haven't played all that many, but it's still good! I thought everything was great. It was simple platforming (The spinning rocks were great) and didn't distract me with lame story (not saying all story is lame, but when there's basically nothing interesting and I'm forced to hear speech bubbles endlessly, I get a bit tired of it). I could definitely see some problems that could occur such as (and were previously mentioned) the part where the stone ledges lower and when the cave is collapsing. A great level and worth every star and heart!2010-10-30 16:31:00

Just wanted to point out that the pictures really got me interested. Everything looked clean and polished and it just looked fun all around. It would be great if more creators could get around to doing this. No pictures makes it seem like the poster didn't really care about their level or is not proud enough to show it. The pictures got me interested and you a nice big heart and five stars.2010-10-30 17:17:00
