Hey there. I felt your ship looked really nice, and it was interesting-maze like setup, didn't think it would take as long to get through it as I did. x3 Anyways, my only real issues with your level, would be the lack of any sort of... puzzles or platforming. Maybe next time, you could add more gameplay elements, within the maze? That, and I'm sure most of your lifts simply used an on/off switch, which, although I didn't have any issues with it, could result in players getting stuck. Might be something to look into changing. Other than that, very nice. | 2010-10-26 15:11:00 Author: Ostler5000 ![]() Posts: 1017 |
Hi there. I really like the look of your level, the visuals were nice and your ghost ships architecture was very nicely thought out. I quite like the little details too like the way your curved the rock surfaces that stick out of the water near the start. I wish the start didnt go dark so quickly though as I was enjoying the nice llightuing the the level starts out with. Maybe you could have it go dark a little later or maybe even just slow the time of the process of the darkness when it kicks in. Also I like dthe amount of secrets and different areas you had around which gave it variety. One thing bad I could say is that you know when first entering the ship? The rubble/boxes you had to navigate through got wedged together and stuck in a way which made it impossible to get thrugh so I had to restart so maybe you can look into taking out a box or two but besides that, a great job. ![]() | 2010-10-26 15:50:00 Author: LFiers ![]() Posts: 161 |

Yes, I will play it and give you a feedback, too. Anyways, my only real issues with your level, would be the lack of any sort of... puzzles or platforming. That's right, the lifts only have on/off switches. But I don't think that players can get stuck because I've tested the lifts many times. When necessary, they go back to the start position after releasing them. But I will try to add more puzzle elements to my next level ![]() Hi there. I added this effect to suggest that the little journey with the boat is very long (one night). Which boxes do you mean where you got stuck? The boxes at the right side of the picture below? Of course I will test your level and give you a feedback ![]() http://s7.directupload.net/images/101026/bs3hxy4b.jpg | 2010-10-26 16:22:00 Author: jenne1980 ![]() Posts: 56 |
Feedback: Positives: +Platforming was pretty good +Visuals looked great +Liked the ship design +Boss fight was okay Negatives: -Ending I thought could of been a bit better Overall the level was still very good::star::star::star::star: | 2010-10-26 18:12:00 Author: Sabre_ ![]() Posts: 653 |
This level is pretty good. The ship design is very good and the platforming works well too. Despite that the level lacks air bubbles and pointing out next path, the multi-pathness of this level is clever. The boss battle is a bit repetitive though, but what's matter the most is the gameplay and visuals. 5 stars. I now changed the beginning of the level. The darkness comes earlier and smoother. I also added new elements, a couple of 3D glitches and some more details to the inner ship. For me it's ok now for the final version. At the moment I'm working on my next level (see link below). | 2010-10-31 10:42:00 Author: jenne1980 ![]() Posts: 56 |
