HELP!!!!!!!!!! I am stuck for ideas on my new level, it is going to be a forest OR gardens level I have played around but I can't find anything. Has anyone got any ideas on levels like this which they would like to play???? Ideas please. :ho od::star::r oyalty:<3:hero: | 2010-10-25 14:05:00 Author: Unknown User |
Personally, when I'm looking for a level to play, it's usually a level that someone here at LBPC has created, which means it could be any genre under the sun. I don't usually look specifically for a theme, such as something based on a forest or a garden. But since it sounds like you may be having a creativity block, I typically get ideas by doing research on the Internet/books/movies/etc. I also make a list of the things I like about a specific genre I might be interested in making a level of. I would suggest listing all of the things you like about forests and gardens--these can be the items that support the structure/foundation/visuals of your level. You could even create a level that incorporates both of your topics...i.e., a forest that has a hidden garden area. Hopefully this will get you started. Good luck! Thats a tough one if you are looking for ideas then you should try searching "ticktockwoods". That has a very good use of materials, gameplay ect. So have a look! YouTube is also good as someone might have tagged forest or garden in one of there videos. Have a look! | 2010-10-27 02:45:00 Author: AssassinatorRFC Posts: 715 |
Use google images and look up forest or some such. Look at the pictures and use them to help your ideas. | 2010-10-28 22:22:00 Author: Caledonianfamily Posts: 8 |
Google Search. Play other games/levels. Watch videos. Pretty much what everyone else said. Start by piecing together some foresty shapes, changing materials and backgrounds to see what works, try plonking in some stickers (the ivy vine from Verabee is great for forests) and just go from there with what you like. From experience, I find that you can never fully take to ideas other people come up with for you. | 2010-10-29 00:35:00 Author: Holguin86 Posts: 875 |
