Eh...?! I don't get it, is there a goal? Nope. Just a fun little game. But that does bring up a point I keep raising with my academic colleagues, if a game doesnt have a goal, is it still a game? Or does it transcend into "play"? Which is unique in the LBP setting. In one part of LBP you are playing LBP, in another part you are playing with LBP. One part has specific goals and accomplishments setup by an outside party, the other gives you toys to fuel your imagination. Its like having a box of Legos. You can use them to build the spaceship in the instruction manual followign the steps it shows, or you can just start connecting bricks to each other and do whatever you want for no predefined reason. Its an interesting concept.
