Beware WolfSilver39_7
Dr. Ology requires your assistance. Wander through the forest to aid the poisoned wolf.
Alright, as with any boss level there is a high chance of any glitches. Any sort of bugs or glitches found will definitely be appreciated.

This was fickle to build but I hope it works out.

Note: Boss takes a while to start up.
Sidenote: You have to start the battle by activating the checkpoint.
Major Tip: Avoid dying when you hit the boss for the 3rd time.

Is this your 1-in-3 level? Also does that switch in the intro do anything?2010-10-25 20:11:00

If by 1-in-3 you mean for 3 contests, then you are correct. The switch does nothing, it's just for ambiance.

But anyway, I republished yesterday to add race gates, opinions?

I don't think the boss music is "bossish" enough. Maybe switch the ending music with the boss one. Also, I think you should make the docter say that the wolf's weak point is its nose, in case people get confused.2010-10-26 00:01:00

Really, cause the ending music is pretty slow for boss music, IMO.

Also, I thought the giant red buttons stuck to the Wolf's nose would be clue enough.

Oh well.

The boss was nice.

Pretty hard, but easy to learn the tactics.
I only have one dislike. The part with the green gas. That was time consuming. It makes you lose interest quick.

Green gas? I'm assuming the eye lasers, yeah, I shoulda thought that would get monotonous.

Thanks for the feedback, Sparky.

Here's my feedback!

First of all, I'd like to say the beginning of the level looks stunning. Which is a good thing, because a beautiful beginning is sure to make the player want to carry on. As soon as I got outside I could feel the creepy atmosphere. (Like a 1950's horror movie) The boss did take a while to start up... (I had the very same issue with my level Tiki Island) I suggest you try counter it, because you will lose A LOT of players through. (They'll assume it's broken...) Ok, so once it's started up there's another issue.... It's so unpredictable at first. Straight away I'm sprayed with green gas and left wondering "whut?" Also the rock attack is a little to hard to dodge. (I suggest slowing it down) The button system works great, though I died straight away from the gas after hitting it... As far as boss battles go it's still one of the best though, I'm sure you'll pick up a sticker!

All the best,
Fastbro

Thanks for the feedback, FB. I've tried so many things to figure it out but it's been impossible to find the cause for the weird start up.

The thing is, to me, boss battles are always unpredictable at first because it's the first time you play the boss. So of course you wouldn't know it's patterns and I thought that it was the usual thing with boss battles.

Thanks so much for the kind words, I appreciate it!

Hey Silver! After roaming around looking for some bosses to fight, I finally got to fight yours. So now for my feedback!

I loved the beginning. Just seeing the lab told me it was going to be some horror type of boss battle.

After exiting the place and seeing the boss for the first time, I was thinking "So... how do I reach those buttons up there?" Just then, I was randomly killed by a lightning fast gas attack! I respawned and tried to run, but then another gas attack got me! After respawning yet again and I tried to run, rocks came out of nowhere and killed me again! I even got spawn killed by a rock that came right in front of the Checkpoint. I was just thinking "MY GOD! THIS IS A HORROR GAME.... IT'S MODERN WARFARE 2 ALL OVER AGAIN!" when I noticed the paws go down. I jumped on them and waited, then when the paws rasied up I hit the button! Only to get killed by the lightning fast gas attack again.

As you can tell, it was a routine for me throughout the battle (well, almost... I knew its patter and easily avoided all further attack from there on). But still, it would've been nice to have a warning system. From there, I ended the level (I liked the decorations near the scoreboard, by the way).

While, the attacks did kill unfairly in the beginning, I really enjoyed the battle! It was fun timing your dodges, but some attacks ca linger on for far too long.

*Looks at second green gas attack.*

Overall, :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3. Excellent job my friend!

Peace

Thank, hopefully Sketch likes the intro too since I entered that into his scene contest.

Nice to know the learning curve wasn't too steep. I was worried it may be a problem.

Thanks for the feedback CS. Good luck in the Boss Battle Blitz!

Glad to hear there's an upside to my boss' difficulty.
Thanks for playing!
