hehe... paint. ( truthfully, it is really good, but i don't have a magic wand, a blender, or any of that fancy stuff. i do all of the blending and separating by hand, i used photoshop once, and it was much quicker, but more confusing, to an extent. )2010-10-25 22:58:00

Try GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/). It's what I use now.

i tried gimp... it aggrivated me alot, cause i couldn't deselect hte text box, even when i cahnged tools, and when i tried to fill the background of something, it would only fill the text box, covering up my words. so i stopped, ill use it some, but not as much as i might use something like photoshop. because photoshop is much easier. but i will always use paint for BASIC photo edititing.2010-10-26 04:03:00

you can always buy photoshop elements, its cheaper, maybe not as advanced as the CS series but gets simple jobs done, even GIF's.

I agree with TheAffected. I started out with paint and moving to GIMP was a total shock. But slowly, after messing around and testing out new things I finally got the hang of it and stopped using paint completely. Actually I used paint.net before GIMP. Paint.net is another good one, but it doesn't have as many tools and features as GIMP does.2010-10-26 04:07:00
