A theme-changing platforming level.
I published this level some time ago, but I haven't got enough feedback for it.

Just want to know what's good or bad about it and how I can improve it.

Thanks

Here's a video:

I just played your level and well, were it lacked in a colour in some areas and slight visual effects, it definitely made up in creativity, was awesome fun to play, different, exciting and very well made. Although i found towards the end on the cloud world, the clouds became kind of annoying where you would occasionally get stuck in an awkward position on the cloud and have to 'hold to retry', but really not much of a complaint you cant do much to fix it. overall was rather impressive =) keep up the good work! your level definitely deserves its 3,000 plays and 300 <3's

I used sooo much invisible gas to keep you from getting in between the clouds. I sealed every crease I could find, but I guess I didn't find them all. I'll see what I can do about that.

So the visuals need work you say? Yeah that was the one thing that was kinda rushed. I didn't really know what visual style fit certain areas like slippery world, so I just went along with whatever came to mind. Usually when I have an idea, it looks a lot better in my head than on the screen. My hands and my brain don't really get along sadly...

But thanks for the input.

I just played your level. Its a really great and original idea. The enviroments work well for each world and the graphic of the level are also amazing. I felt the enviroments on each world were totally fine I did not have a problem with it or anything that should be added on. The gameplay is great too giving the player always something to do and also something new. I read some of the comments and a person said that the cloud world was glitchy and he found himself stuck in the clouds but I found no errors as I was playing. Its a really fun level and it also makes you think a little but thats a good thing. Not to hard, not too easy and not to long nor short.

Positives: Gameplay, enviroments, orginality, and tecture.

Negatives: Repetative.

5/5 and a heart great work.

Great look. I actually found it to be fantastic looking all around. Such a unique look which gave it great character. Loved how the cogs broke off one by one after letting go of them that was nice. I enjoyed the overall aesthetic and the fun little unique ways of progressing such as the platform being carried across the cogs and being able to control the water depth was great! That bit near the end where the water was coming down then up while trying to avoice getting spiked was great use of water there. The platformt hat threw you over was nice too as was the varied nature of your level. Overall I loved it. I would highly appreciate it if you could play my level "Resident raytech". I think you will enjoy it. I hiope so > Let me know please. P.S. You name seems familiar... are you by any chance friends with Steve Big Guns? Didnt you make the decals or the music for SUper Mario PS3? Thank you, L Fiers.2010-10-25 17:11:00

Nice level. Unique with visuals and variety of material choices. The arctic area looks amazing and usage of clouds in the sky world are ingenious. The only things that should be fixed is after dropped during the level's title, on the left side, there's a blank background wall. You should add a camera to prevent players from viewing it. Also, in the water world, I think you should consider enlarge the water moving box a bit because I keep on activating the the wrong ones. Overall this is a level with good gameplay and various visuals. 5 stars

I played your level and an answer to your question
Just want to know what's good or bad about it and how I can improve it.
the answer is very good. i thought i had good challenges, unique platforming, and good design

the only improvement i suggest is on the 'mechanical world' is to add more decoration, felt a little bad

Please could you check out my thread heres the link

I think the glitchy clouds might only happen to those who like to explore the level in detail. It's like 30% of people who actually comes across a crease in the clouds and get stuck it seems. Those (like myself) who like to enjoy every aspect of someone's creation.

Thanks for the input
