Gonna sound like a propper newb now :o lol. At the back of my pc i have skart sockets and av sockets and it is a media pc running on windows xp. You can put your tv signal in it and watch and record programs (though i've never tried) So i thought you could just plug in something to view on my pc screen. I tried plugging in my xbox360 once but nothing came up. I was expecting a pop up screen like what you get when it says new hardware detected. But nothing. I played around for a while in the settings but couldn't find anything to do with these sockets like what you can bring up for you usb posts. If someone that knows anything about this could help i'd appreciate it thanks This is because when i get lbp it would be great if i could do this as my missus and kid hog the tv lol

You can definitely use the monitor, but I think you have to have it specially set up. Not sure how though mate. Gooooooogle it?
