Serious PSN Problems

Archive: 9 posts

Ok this is... without being rude , Fudging ridiculous.
Today I decided to go back on Modern Warfare 2 after 6 months and I started up my playstation, connected to my router and signed in.. Took me about 10 minutes to sign in, after 4 or 5 attempts... Anyway I got in and loaded up the game, started the update.
This update was only 16MB!!!!! And I couldn't download it.. I kept getting signed out and DNS errors and you name it....
So i got it done and now my playstation network is SOOOO SLOW.. Any ideas how to increase dl speed?

If you are sharing the network (i.e. family router) probably someone is working on the internet and consuming the broadband, if that's not the case, check your wireless settings, you may have someone stealing your internet (you never know), and if its none of those then probably is your internet service provider (to increase internet speed i recommend direct Ethernet connection, wireless can sometimes be pretty slow).2010-10-18 22:15:00

This isn't a PSN problem m8, its your internet most likely, wouldn'r matter if you had Wii/ XBOX, most likely it'd still be the same...2010-10-18 22:31:00

Not PSN, it's your connection Thesed might be the problem:
1-You have Dial-Up
2-Someone is using the computer/laptop
3-Someone is stealing your internet

Turn the PS3 off, turn the router off, wait a few minutes, turn the router on, turn the PS3 on.

It's the solution to everything.
