As you may or may not know, i have planned to try to make a better version of my Mega City series when LBP2 is released. In fact ive started some R&D already. One of my favorite things about the mega man games is the music. However, i am not very musically inclined myself. What i am wondering is if there might be a skilled individual who might be interested in helping out. The project would consist of level theme songs for 12 or so levels. Boss fight music as well as victory music. maybe more.

Hey DeftMute, I love making tunes (I've done some recording with real instruments as a hobby) and could help out. Other than a quick piano piece, I don't have anything music-related in LBP1 because the music editor was awful. However, you can check out my levels if you want an idea of the type of quality to expect - I'm a perfectionist! All I would need is some access to LBP2 (whenever that is) and I could cut a test track. Exactly what type of feel are you looking for?

well, the series is based off of the mega man video games which has always had a techno soundtrack. I'm a fan of all sorts of music myself, and i'm definitely taking some liberties elsewhere, so there's quite a bit of flexibility.

I'm a huge fan of Mega Man so that's all you need to say. I've heard of your series before so I'll play a couple of levels next time I get a chance. Hopefully I get into the next wave of the beta so I can get a crack at the music sequencer and try out a few things.

thats awesome man. I hope you can get in. Obviously theres no rush since the project wont truly be started until after release. I just figured i'd mention it early so that there would be time to conceptualize and such. In case you are curious the stages are as follows: Blast Foundry - Forge Man Vertigo Heights - Smog Man Shock Station - Volt Woman Dynamic Park - Thorn Man Smash Factory - Sledge Man Slippery Mines - Shard Man Crash Arcade - Neon Man Splash Marina - Deep Man Dr Whiney's Castle - Blood Ocean Dr Whiney's Castle - Stormrise Dr Whiney's Castle - Exploder House (subject to change) y'know in case you wanted to get those creative juices flowing preemptively.
