The Magical FactoryxXGrEEn0Xx
Jump into a whole new world of magic - The Magical Factory. A dream which you'll never want to end...
Roam through a land full of magical mechanisms, floating furnaces and plunging pipes to discover the Magical factory, which no Sackboy has never seen before.

This has the same kind of atomosphere and theme to my previous level 'Realm Of Magic' I've really tried to make it as magic as possible xD It's hard to give a level just that magical feeling... Also tried to avoid using the constant, basic and boring obstacles and platforms most LBP levels have.

*This level is currently on Cool Page: 2*

Total building time: 17 days

However this level does have a bad point about it - WHEN IT ENDS
PLEASE ENJOY!

This was an enjoyable and well constructed level though not exactly an original one. A little nod to Rio-Lotta in your opening post there would be nice.2010-10-17 16:38:00

A beautiful level. I think your mix of greenery, with machinery and such is a great combination. Done really nicely.

I dunno about your platforming being free from those 'boring obstacles most LBP levels have' but it was certainly a fun little platforming level nonetheless. Your platforming was good, I just don't think it was quite as... outside the box as this sentence implies.
Well worth it's position on the cool pages, though, and I hope it pushes forward a bit more, page 3 doesn't really do it justice.

Also, can I have a magical log to take home with me?

This level is indeed magical. The obstacles and visuals worked really well and the moving platforms looked like you could be the new Lockstitch. The only minor flaw [well no big deal] is the lighting that some of it looked too dark. Overall, it's a level that received 5 stars and a heart by me.

F4F my upcoming new level "The Hero Chronicles LV8 Phantom Planet part 1 and 2" when it's published.

Great and gorgeous looking level. I liked how you have it set to having the machine parts of it blend well with the enviroment, it seemed surreal. I liked the little conveyor belt floating wood part. Gave it a 5 :star: Very great platforming level and it was really interesting. Please feedback my Ashton Chronicles 1: Hidden Water Temple level, link to it in my sig 2010-10-21 01:12:00

When I read "The Magical Factory" I was like yeah that sounds like my style seeing as I love "Sky Factory" so I thought id check it out. It seems you too are a big fan of SteveBigGunz, as your inspiration from him was strong throughout but let me tell you, you learned and may habve gotten ideas from his Sky Factory 1 and 2 with the look, the launching from pipes and the cogs and all that as I couldnt stop thinking about his stuff while playing your level but you actually managed to still make it your own. Innovation, inspiration and immation, there's a difference... Thats what I say and truth is you know it because I love your level. It was rich, beauitiful, I loved the look of the whole thing although, some parts I felt could do with alittle more light. And also the gampleay was just simply very fun and smooth flowing. It could have been a little longer though with more variation but you can always make a part 2. Great level.

Please check out my level "Resident Raytech" as soon as you get the time to. It is a mysterious high tech facility of unknown origins which you must navigate your way out of. My aim was to create one truley unique looking level with technically unique mechanics and contraptions that have not been seen before in LBP. I focussed hard on creating an an all round and balanced level that appeals to the tech heads and the casual, the pro's and the noobs alike so there is truley something for everyone. I hope you enjoy. Please leave me some feedback aswell. Thank you.

The spinning cogs near the end of the level, cor before i built that there were another probably 3 ideas i scrapped because it just wasn't satisfying enough, in the end I thought it's best off to use an idea used by the community.. I completely understand where you're coming from and thanks for your reply
Also i decided this time I'd make a more detailed and accurate but shorter level, If you ever play again and see those chains hanging around in there, they fill up the thermo rapidly which is a shame as i wish I could add more xD

This is a great level with an excellent "magical" atmosphere created by a good use of lighting, music, textures and objects. The camera angels were generally good but need to be tweeked on the rising platforms into the poisonous gas. It was a little hard to navigate. Moving the camera so the player could see the path earlier would make it easier. Other than that everything else was great. Well done.

F4F: Please play and leave feedback for Time Bandits of the Holy Land. Thanks.

Hey Green0, great level, especially good visuals. I like the effects that seem prominent in lots of your levels. I noticed your platforms at the end were a wee bit wobbly, and I think I know how that could be fixed, if you care at all. But overall, another great level that dazzled my eyes.2010-11-04 04:13:00

Hi!!!!

Ok, so I just played the level, and overall it was really good. It was very visually appealing (I'm surprised it only took 17 days to build!) You made great use of the accessories and stickers, and I liked the color correction It was really peaceful.

I liked the simple platforming style a lot. The only problem was that sometimes it was hard to figure out where I was supposed to go next. At the part with the sign saying "to the factory," the arrow pointing down into the DEADLY FLAMES OF DEATH threw be off a little. Took me a few minutes to figure out I had to use the rotating circle. I think the color correction might have made it harder to see because everything blended in with each other, But I did like how it made the level look.

The music choice was nice, but sounded too quiet. If you had it turned down at all, I think you should turn it up.

I also think that the level would be more fun if you added point bubbles. The level was cool looking, sure. But the obstacles, although well put together, were pretty simple. Adding points would probably make the level more exciting. I think you may have tried too hard to make it look pretty and didn't pay enough attention to he obstacles and challenges.

Anyway, it was a good level. It was almost perfectly put together with just a few flaws I could pick out. You definitely have a lot of talent. I gave it 4 stars and hearted it

I can see the Steve Big Guns Sky factory 1 and 2 inspirations all the way down to the signs and the cannon pipes. Overall a nice and fun level which definitely had great looks but I wish it was a bit longer with some more danger involved. I did feel however that although the dark lighting complimented it areas was actually a little detrimental in certain areas as it made it a little too hard to see. But other than that, it's a great level. Would love to see a sequel with possibly longer and more gameplay.

Please check out my level "Resident Raytech". Just type "LFiers" into search and you'll find it. Its also in my signature if you want to see the showcase thread. I hope you enjoy. Thanks.
