| The only thing I'd be concerned about is the fact that abnormally cold winters usually lead to abnormally hot summers. If global temperatures get too hot, the gulf stream will stop flowing because there won't be enough cold water to power the thermal movement of the current. If the gulf stream stops, it will stop bringing up warm air and water from the equator to Europe, which causes the [comparatively] mild climate. Once that happens...
