Yes, because the "plot" was oh-so-significant by this point

I guess they made a lot of cheese from the first movie so they wanted to milk the idea and until it was dry and dead....which probably was the 3rd movie. I've never seen any of the others past the third, but from what I hear. The plot seems the same. I don't really like them, the only entertainment that I get from them are those ewww moments, but that's pretty much it.2010-10-16 20:29:00

I want to watch it, but I don't really want it on 3D. I don't really like 3D. Why can't they give us the option?!

Oh and the storyline is rubbish. The first 3 were good - from then on, they're kinda clutching at straws, just trying to make a bit of cash...

i don't get this movie, it's no where near scary and the only thing it has excess amount of is gore, and it's not even THAT creative :/2010-10-16 20:32:00

Hollywood is running out of ideas *sigh*, they will try to squeeze every dollar they can of this franchise until no one cares anymore, then let some 5 or 6 years pass and then reboot the series or something like that.........2010-10-16 21:40:00

Hey the story makes sense, 4&5 are set at the same time, 5&6 are basically one after the other. I can't remember because it is confusing, but it was the cop who was being nasty in them, but jigsaw got his wife to test the cop and she killed him.

yeah it makes tons of sense

yeah because 3&4 both end at the point where they all shoot each other, then 5 starts with the cop pretending to be a big hero about finding them all dead. During which time another test has been running, that test ends with them cutting their arms apart. At the start of 6 they find that room and you see the lass with a mangled arm.

I think I need to watch them again XD I'm confused.

the saw movies are based on a series of short stories. there are 13 of the short stories. they are actually cutting the movie series short as far as i know.

actually now i cant seem to find proof to support that, but my roommate who is a major fan told me about it after reading an article in fangoria.
