Ali's Character Contest Round 1 - Horrible Halloween Horrors Character Contest? Who in the what when how why!? Oh yes you read it right! I am running a character create contest for LBP PSP. Characters are defined as anything from a small Sackboy or Sackgirl to a huge terrifying Boss and everything inbetween. The point of this contest is to further develop your character creation skills and furthermore to give you an oppurtunity to show off your character ideas to the LittleBigPlanet community. The theme: Horrible Halloween Horrors Let's kick it off with a festive theme. As most of you are aware the 31st of October is Halloween and so it would only be right to run a contest revolving around a scary thematic. A skeleton Sackboy? An evil witch sackgirl? A ghost a ghoul a whatever-else-is-scary character? Go for it! So grab your pumpkins and get carving! The Rules 1. You may use any material or sticker to decorate and/or construct your characters, including those from DLC. 2. You may submit your character entry as part of a full level that has not been previously published. However, a full level is NOT required. If part of a full level, only the character will be considered for judging. 3. You can submit as many characters as you can produce within the given time period. 4. Participants cannot win twice in a row, but winners of the previous round may submit entries for fun. 5. Judges may participate in the contest but are ineligible to claim the prize. 6. Participating levels must be posted on this thread by the deadline (see below). Please provide your PSN username and level title on your entry post. 7. If you're not sure what to name your level, call it 'LBPC Character Contest'. Otherwise the title is up to you! 8. By posting your scoreboard on this thread, you agree to the fine print stated below. The Deadline The deadline for this contest is 31 October 2010 at 11:59 PM GMT. Maybe I should enter. O_o Maybe.... I don't get the contest. We have to decorate the level as well. So like a character in a decorated theme? Hmm... So Halloween characters... I've always wanted to do a "R.I.P Sack" level again, maybe this will get me out of this state. I think I want to enter.... *Be ready to be Amazed*

The really good character guys are ali, sketch, salieri and Taffey. Also, 2 of the just named are judges and Taffey hardly ever enters contests. So, just about everybody has shot at winning. As for me, characters and me don't mix, not just the creating part, but the imagining up part too.

What about the dude that made "Autumn Maple Leaves"? The characters in "Autumn Maple Leaves" are not that bad. Unless the creator of that level was one of the above mentioned, then nevermind. By the way, Ali, your contest made me create an EPIC Intro. I came this far... I need to finish...

Ooh this contest sounds like something for me, I've gotten into detailing with stickers lately... I just finished the face for my character. It wouldn't really have been finished but the sticker limit came at me and I decided to simplify some things... Now onto the rest of my character

Oh wow! I never expected this many people to be interested in this contest, but I'm glad you are! Let me clear up some confusion: -A full level is NOT required and will not gain you any extra points -The characters are not required to move, but you may make them move if you so wish. This could gain you extra points depending -You may present your character in any way you wish, be it a level, a boss battle or a simple blank level -You will gain points for originality

Am I late?!!! I hope not. Well,here's my character . PSN:balgarino007 Level:A nightmare on your street. I couldn't finish it due to lack of LBP time.Since the deadline is basically here I had to rush the sleeves,feets and I couldn't make the awesome hands and knife I drew. They will announce the winners,but you'll have to wait some more. The judges can't proceed to the final judgement if one of their judges is having issues,right? NO the entries were due halloween. so this is day 13 since judging started. but 2 days without community moon means its acutally day 11. And they have 1,2,3 pages of entries. give the guy a break.
