The LBP 2 BETA has been going on for a long while, but today I received a suspicious LBP 2 BETA invite. What am I to think of this? Is it spam or fake? How can I tell if it is real? I don't want to brick my PS3 system if it is illegitimate, or miss out if in fact it IS real... Looking forward to responses and explanations. Thanks

Was it sent by an email or PSN? It must be in email, and must have You're Invited to the LBP2 Beta as the title of the email. the email should be from 1440561-0817632524z@playstation.innovyx.net or rather anything at @playstation.innovyx.net If it's not an email sent by that email then it's fake. :kz: Actually, now that I think about it, as long as you enter the code in Account Management, there should be no possible way it can break your PS3. PS3's a closed system and stuff so it can't really do anything via that method. So might as well plug it in if it's an email- beta keys just came out, so it is probably true

Well, it's real all right. I am so happy. (560 minute download) WHAAA? And I hear then I must download a 1.1 patch. Hahaha. At least I got in. This is wonderful. Thank you whoever chose me.
