Has anyone played Rez?

Archive: 5 posts

Has anyone played this forgotten game? It's a musical on-rails shooter developed by Sega, and was inspired by synesthesia. It's a great game, which came out on the Dreamcast, Playstation 2 and Xbox 360 Live Arcade. I really can't describe it much, so here's some gameplay footage of the first stage (and its boss) I found on YouTube.

Here's the Wikipedia article. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rez) I own the game on the 360, although I kinda want the game to be released on the PSN so all of you can enjoy it.

It's sequel, Child of Eden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_of_Eden), has been announced.

Yeah, I love Rez! It's kind of like Flower, in that it's a game that I play when I just want to sit back and relax. I'm looking forward to Child of Eden (sans Kinect controls).2010-10-15 21:50:00

Forgotten? I thought it was really popular.

I still have the PS2 disc but never tried the game with the trance vibrator or whatever it was called.

Have you played Viz Ribbon? It came out around the same time.

Viz Ribbon? Isn't that the game on the PS1 where you could pop out your game disc and put your favourate music CD in and it would generate an obstacle course? I haven't played it, but I have heard the name before.
